He was a natural marketing genius for sure. And a fantastic executer of ideas. A fascinating and uncompromising person. He was unique and he's missed on the world stage.

Even though I think Tim is an ok leader (especially making the company at a trillion dollars), I think Jobs really put Apple on the map by making it really competitive and constantly comparing their products with others in the market. And thanks to that - he made a really strong brand image for the company that made it survive for the future. He would've added a bunch of features that Samsung does, but does it better and more professional. He really cared about the products he was selling to society. I feel like he would've still kept upgradability for MacBooks though since he knew the market really well. But the ARM chips on the new MacBooks is the closest thing that Steve Jobs would've done if he was here in Apple today.
@@HaynesX yeah he really wanted iPads to become laptops, when he first introduced it. I think Tim/Craig is trying their best to help Steve get that aim, even tho I feel like tablets with a mobile os is useless (except the surface pro)
to be honest, the respect I have for this man is immense! this man is one the most inspirational character ever walked in this world! Thank you so much for everything sir!
If Steve Jobs were alive, there would not any competition to an apple product. His creativity, ingenuity and sense of simplicity an elegance placed Apple in another dimension. No one, including Apple will be able will have someone who will replicate his greatness. Apple is lost without him, the world is lost without Steve Jobs, RIP.
His contribution to the world was his spirit, tenacity, authenticity and courage. The actual work that resulted-phones, computers, i.e. gadgets and toys-ultimately mean nothing to History. The man is what matters. The gadgets are collateral.
I love how Steve's so passionate about his products. His launches are like "Hey, we've made something new and cool, it's great. Come check it out", unlike today's events which are more like "Look, another overpriced gadget with features we are going to sell to you"
apple needs a new idealist, steve had a vision and now apple just seems to keep trying to improve the same products. steve was the one who thought of new products. image if all apple ever did was just keep improving the laser printer, yea we would have a great printer but....
I remember when iPod came out, what a game changer. I was shocked because I used cassette players and CD players, then all of a sudden something from the future arrived, and it changed my life.
I am watcing this in 2012, more than a decade later and YET I find it amazing. The technoogy that is. I can't really understand how the crowd isn't reacting the same way as it did in 2007. RIP man. You were and always will be amazing!
never been an apple fan and never even owned anything apple, but I see how this man achieved such a huge success. His presentation skills are beyond epic.
This is a great compilation. Thank you for sharing. It's a great reference to use when focusing in delivering a great pitch and when thinking about how to truly deliver to the consumer. Awesome.
What a great victory! Steve Jobs - The man who thought different. I could not explain but am grateful Steve Jobs. May God bless all of us. Kind regards.
Steve' s vision combined with strategic thinking is what made the difference. We are part of that in our daily lives using all the technology Apple has contributed to this dimension. Thumbs up:)
You can say what you want about Jobs, but his charisma and train of thought of putting the consumer before business- something that was severely overlooked for a long time- made him a pioneer of the tech industry. It'll be a long time before we see anyone who has the sheer brains and talent that Steve withheld.
You should have added the original Mac. But excellent collection. I have these in HD quality for posterity now. Thx. Wish Steve Jobs was still around to make awesome shit.
You can tell he had more of a wholesome plan with the original apple store with it being more of a realistic and welcoming place then the expensive looking plastic display case it later on became.
Watching this was hilarious. I couldn't stop from laughing about how cool 3/4 inch thick iPods were. I was watching this on my iPod 5 so it was also kinda ironic. RIP Steve
I've never been a huge apple fan (tbh I was only really a fan of the iPods) but damn Steve is one hell of a salesman, he is legitimately captivating to listen to Holy hell.
A neat fact: the reason Apple wanted to do the iPod was because at the music section of their retail store there were no good MP3 players. They either had a bad U.I. (no click wheel), too expensive, too little memory, or they were too big because other players used 2.5 inch laptop hard drives. Apple would eventually use 1.8 inch hard drives from Toshiba that Toshiba wanted to get rid of. Noticing that neither Sony nor other companies like Creative aren't finding the recipe, he took charge and had the iPod built and ready to ship within 8 months. It was originally just to be for Macs, but Schiller and others barely convinced him to make it for Windows as well. And then iTunes got a music store, and then iTunes came on Windows. And well, the rest is history.
Steve Jobs' Apple was a company that genuinely wanted to innovate, as it did many times. The iMac, the iPod, the iPhone, the Macbook Air, MacOS, iOS, iTunes, and so on, were all revolutionary products, that changed all of technology, and their effects are still seen today. Steve Jobs' Apple launched our world into the tech age. The post-Jobs current day Apple is lost without him, they don't push the bar anymore. They only care about making money.
Steve's sense of presentation is without peer. He knows how to give the "Pregnant pause" the most gravitas. It makes the sense of (Here it comes)..palpable. He knows how to create excitement with a product.
The best part of the video is when he's in one of his stores. It's nice to see him neither in an interview or introducing a new product. Nice change for once.
Portable music players started out as just Walkman. Cell phones were just portable phones. Portable video games were only on GameBoy/GBA. My portable videos were played on a giant box that was huge and only played VHS. Apple brought music and videos to into one device with iPod. With iPhone it was internet, phone, music, videos, UA-cam etc... Now it's iTouch and iPhone that rule. I really love mine and I love how simple it is that we hold 'all of the above' in OUR pockets these days. RIP Jobs!

He was an excellent speaker.
I love how this "AMAZING LITTLE DEVICE" looks like a freaking brick today, i mean its huge haha.
Progress has really been made since then.
Are you serious? This was 14 years ago kid.
And the progress was from him too!
If steve kept telling us bricks were cool, we would probably all be walking with bricks in our pockets.
Yeah but it was cool. Devices arent cool anymore they are just there

In a way you are right. Not many people knew how bad apple were before he returned in 1997. They were even near bankruptcy
He was simply fucking genius.
Tim Cook is killing it though let’s not downplay it
Damn, Steve jobs gotta be one of the best presenter ever. Every presentation he does is good.
We lost you. We will always love you ❤️

Sadly it’s gotten so much worse, Apple now days sells a smart speaker the HomePod 2nd gen for 300$😑 not to mention a 1000$ monitor 😦
Jobs you are just as captivating even now. Thanks for having passed us such an important legacy!

I miss him he was my idol
I was in high school when this came out. It was HUGE. Everyone wanted one. Few people could actually get one.

Steve Jobs Is the greatest presenter I have ever seen.
Thanks Steve for your best products.
OMG! 1000 Songs. !3 years on and Mr Jobs and the team have advanced the music industry beyond comprehension.

a man who did almost everything he dreamed, he was just great
Now I know why so many people respect this man. Great. Btw, he started to look sick at 2007 during the iPhone presentation.
When people ask where my inspiration comes from, I tell them "Only the best man the 21st century has ever seen walk this earth!"

Man o man, now that i see this video, i can appreciate how visionary this guy is. Dayum...
