Addendum: After trying this for myself I can say that it works. *However, be warned that pc language is extremely particular & I specul8 that most not having this work for them is probably due to this issue* Meaning if you create and name a folder 'Sharefactory' then this,as I came to find will not due. Alternatively if you type it precisely as the sharefactory's import prompt tells you then it will work. So to clarify if you name it SHAREFACTORY then it will work. Lastly creating a folder inside the SHAREFACTORY folder named PICTURES also will not due. You must name it IMAGES. So we can use the capture gallery to copy content onto chosen external storage(ps4~share~videos) then delete them from our stations to make space. Then when ready to edit we can transfer that content back to our stations via that SHAREFACTORY folder with no other devices required. *Except to initially create SHAREFACTORY folder in external storage. ~Most libraries offer computers you can use for free,provided you create an account with them!!!~* Your welcome,now you know the saying cause you've seen the movie.....`Game on!!!´ ✌😎🖖

I had this problem and what u need to do is when right as u open ur usb folder u have to have a (SHAREFACTORY) folder and then (VIDEO) folder which contains the videos and they have to be mp4.
I don’t if this helps, but mine wasn’t working until I started trying different mp4 converter websites. Then eventually, I managed to find an mp4 converter that would make my videos work. So if it helps, try switching between converter websites.

Sorry this maybe too late, but if you havent figured it out, sometimes you may need to format the USB drive Using exfat formart first! And also i recomend formating the USB on a windows pc not a Mac computer, I have a video on that, however this may speed up the process for you. Also other users who had this problem sometimes need to just scroll down on the files you have while in ps4 sharefactory import, i also recomend naming your files approprietly to be found easily.

I still had to import a video to Sharefactory, remove all the PS stuff + then add the trailer from the imported videos, erase the 1st imported video, so that only the trailer was left, exported to gallery: Voila it's working :))) Really good description (also in the description box) If you find a way how to put a live face camera to my videos (record video on PS4 with face like in a livestream), so that I can add the trailer, or a way to add the trailer to a YT video (or livestream) that has already been released, then all my problems are solved. ;)

Hi 👋 sorry that its not working right for you. I would guess the naming of the folders could be the problem. I created a video that helps you force ps4 to create the folders and name them for you

I see, it seems like you did everything fine. I stress the importance of naming your files aproprietly so you can see them in the imported files on the ps4 in sharefactory. And if the ps4 is not reading your USB, you may want to format it first before you go thru the process, I did a video on how to format the usb the right way

Hi thanks for your question. I believe any storage material that you can format as a FAT32 or exFAT can be used for the PS4 to be able to read the drive.
