kukki’s laundry list of coming videos for 2nd Anniversary: - What are Modules? - The Second Five Star Selector Pack - Elite 2 5 Star Promotion Ticket - Talking about Chen Alter One Last Time - Should You Pull? | Dossoles Holiday Banner - Dossoles Holiday Event Overview - How to Play Dossoles Holiday It’s just to let you know what I have prepared!
This is a pretty good choice on giving everyone a 5* selector ticket for free, even if you joined the game a month or year late they will give you the 5* ticket regardless. I just need silence!
*Me who has Silence, Projekt Red, and Pramanix, but no Liskarm* "I see this as an absolute win!" This is Dr. Revs, finally bringing my own DP battery back home
I haven't played much yet, How many Ops are there in the Kjerag? So far, the only ones I know (and have) are SA, Cliffheart, Pramanix, and the Other dude, the one from the cert shop,
Projekt Red is definitely the most solid option for new players. I have them all already, so I'll pick Pramanix for potentials because she's my favorite.
I'd suggest not picking Red for early players when they can have Gravel which is a solid specialist for early game and she is cheap to raise and fast to max pot
@@shaunaburst5638 imo they do different things. Red can assassinate enemies who can be annoying/cause debuffs while gravel has her use in stalling bigger enemies and drones
fast redeploy are evergreen due to their uses. Liskarm and Silence can be swapped in for other 5 or even 4 stars in their class with no real issues. plenty of maps where you want to use 2 or more fast redeploys for stalling, sniping or drawing attacks, so rocking Red and Gravel is still a viable lineup.
For newer players who haven't gotten all of the operators here, I would suggest to use the free 10 pull and do any planned pulls on the next event before using the selector tickets. Chances are slim, but RNG might be able to provide you with any of operators on the selector tickets - so use them after you pull!
My take for new players: either get Project Red or Lappland. Lappland’s silencing talent is extremely good in chapter 4 and 6, and having a second fast redeploy greatly simplifies chapter 8.
Oh I misunderstood, I thought the new one had a wider selection. Of those four, IMO you should pick project red so that you aren’t caught flat footed at the end of chapter 8. Had I not bought Waai Fu from the cert shop when I was first starting out, weeks later I would have hit an impasse in chapter 8 because I didn’t get project red till Pallas’s banner.
This comment pleases me. I amready have project red, but haven't bothered to level her, and i have Lappland, nearly max level E2 with M2S1 and M1S2. Hearing that they are both recommended is very nice. Then again, i knew they were both very good already, lappland being a "nope" button for a number of annoying enemies, and red being a nuke that even Lappland is afraid of.
Red has one of my absolute favorite designs out of the cast. I love her thematically as well as her association with Kal'tsit and a particular fairy tale. Therefore, I shall get a potential for the best murder-pupper. As always: Cheers everyone! ^_^
I'mma not lie, my 5* when I first started was Silence actually. Helps a lot when you need a healer who can quickly cover large areas or just repeatedly top up one person in a pinch.
I've only Liskarm, so I'll be picking Red. I see her used quite often in guides and niche clears. Plus an on-demand stun is invaluable. Her assassination skill seems rather useful, too. Dodge & stun are fun mechanics!
I have them all, so I'll get Projekt Red. Same with Kukki, I highly recommend her plus she will be getting her summer skin so no brainer decision for me.
Meanwhile inside my head Angel me: "Pick Red to increase her pot level. For fast-redeploy, 1 less DP cost is important" Devil me: "Nah. Pick Silence or Liskarm. You already maxed their potentials, so that means more yellow certificates!"
Projekt Red is one of my favourite operator and also one of my first operator I would definitely choose her for the ticket but I have her at full pot somehow I also have all the other operators in the selector but I've never really used them all that much because I always had someone better to replace them with or something like that. But Red really saved my ass in numerous different situations from early episodes all the way to the very last stage of ep 8 All operators in the ticket are good but I'd highly recommend Red (+ she's getting a summer skin soon. I don't really like summer skins but I'm buying this one)
This was part of the pre-registration bonus when Arknights launched. I chose Liskarm as the most logical choice. A solid 5-star defender that I used for a long time. Plus she was voice by Ishikawa Yui, a seiyuu I admire.
Ash 2nd skill stun stops when she exactly has half clip (assuming she keeps shooting non stop) but if you use project red she will keep dealing huge damage all of her remaining clip for the people who don't know about Ash s2 : she shoots 31 bullets very fast and deals 250% (M3)damage to stunned targets
"Liskarm role is very unique" Yes, she is my Aak's target to charge Thorns skill Well finally after playing for 9 months, I can get Pramanix since she is the reason I play AK
nice ^^ you'll not be disappointed in her skills, she could have easily taken the #1 spot if research for this video was performed a little bit better.
@@moon_child_000 I still agree that Red would be the best for vets and new players since having her potentials lowers her redeployment time/ she’s just a team player whenever you need an assassin or a fast redep. As for new players though I’m not sure if Liskarm or her would be better since you do need strong defenders as well early game
Me a first time player who don't know anything about the game mechanics Chose Pramanix thinking this would be great unit because she can multi target and debuff. Well she can, after she was upgraded. But, I'm a fresh new player and for now, i barely use her
Very nice production quality I have to say. Was a really pleasant watch despite this being a more-or-less superfluous video for me as I already have them all.
Nice vid kukki! Im a very clumsy and lazy player myself so i nvr used fast redeploys in the early games, but once i tried to use them to pass CC, im feeling really surprised and have been more than willing to put them in my team since then. Btw guys, even 4 star fast redeploy specialist - gravel is super useful too. So if u really want to pick other 5 stars during this selection for reasons, u still can build gravel 1st and wait for projekt red to come later
Liskarm is the best long term investment. Her E1 talent is amazingly powerful at fast-charging SP for allies. Projekt Red is mostly good for reactive play, but her DPS is not great, and her stun becomes less valuable in late game as you get more CC options. Pramanix is overshadowed by Shamare. And probably Gnosis in the future. Silence is overshadowed by Warfarin and Ptilopsis for utility and Gavial, Warfarin and Sussuro for burst healing. Now I get that new players might be more interested in immediate short term gains, but 5-stars are expensive to promote, so you probably don't want to invest in a 5-star that falls off in late game.
Out of 4 of them, I still use 3 on regular basis: red, pram and lisk Silence unfortunately fell off since there are a lot better healers with more utility. I have max pot red and lisk already so I guess I'll pick pram
@@kaushikdas9294 the issue with silence is that she only heals and nothing else. Comparing to the like of ptilopsis, warfarin, nightingale, shining etc, she doesn't offer any utility
on my acc, Silence are the only 1 of those 4 that still E1 lvl 1 XD it might because at the early days i mainly depend of both Ptilopsis and Perfumer as my main medic, while these time around is Whisperain S2 that become my core medic
@@thailehuy the units you mentioned bring niche or situational team support (buffs to sp regen, def, res, etc.) as their utility, but silence has utility in being either a long range healer (anywhere the drone can go) or a high burst heal if you want to focus inside her healing range. Added to that is silence can have AOE heal with good drone positioning.
Silence is a pretty solid healer. She might not have any other utility, but her drones is a really good extra healer. I used her a lot on my newbie days, and using her feels like having 2 healers. BUT, all must note that healer isn't really that important when your account is strong enough. Anything that can heal will work, so a dedicated healer like Silence indeed fall shorts to other Medics (or even supporters) that have a strong side utility. My conclusion: 1. Silence is REALLY good for newbie. 2. For veteran players, she still has some use on some special condition. But overall, you will prefer Ptilopsis for the sp regen, Nightingale for heavy arts dmg stage, or even Skadi Alter as she can heal and buff your team at the same time.
If you're a newer player (or even an older one) the correct priority list for recruitment is as follows: 1. Pramanix / Silence 2. Project Red 3. Liskarm
Ironically it's the opposite. Silence is the most overrated medic in the game, her utility was never impactful mid to late game. While Pramanix is not bad she got powercrept by other debuffers like Shamare and Suzuran. Liskarm has the most unique utility among the 4. Lastly fast-redeploys are always nice to have, having more of them is always a good thing.
@@macsenpai7006 Actually, it's exactly as stated. ^^ Silence is (especially if you don't have Warfarin) one of the best single target medics and was for quite some time rated as S rank by gamepress confirming her excellence further. If you're a newer player with not many good healers at the beginning she's an absolute must. I guess you didn't use Pramanix much in actual battles or more complex strategies but her usefulness is amazing (for those curious, many youtube videos/showcases are available) especially when it comes to lowering RES - Shamare and Suzuran - cannot match Pramanix there - not even close. Not to mention Suzuran is a 6* so ... no idea why are you even mentioning that unit, it's really not that relevant in a 5* usefulness discussion lol ^^" Like Skalter (but ofc. not as much) she allows many other operators (not named Surtr or Thorns) to shine brightly if you wish to use them for husbando / waifu or whatever other reasons, and that is amazing. She's a supporter to the truest sense of the word. Moreover, Pramanix is one of the rare 5* that has 2 talents. And between these 4, the only one. And obviously, since Pramanix and Silence take the 1st spot, between Project Red and Liskarm, I'd have to go with Project red, I believe she can provide better options for various strategies. Liskarm's utility as unique as it may be is rarely if ever used (or that useful) nowadays to justify taking up a squad slot ^^
@@moon_child_000 To be honest that's your opinion. But most people didn't see it that way, it means you are just a minority. We have discussion about this on Reddit, you can also check the tier list on gamepress it's not 100% accurate but is a good source of info (since players dislike tier lists). My point still stands, having meta operators, I learned how to utilize Liskarms ability, in fact I used her more often than regular defenders like Hoshi or Coura, she's good with Eyja, Blue Poison and can be used to charge Thorns, Blaze or Ch'en. I rarely use Pramanix coz of Shamare and Suzu, I also have Saria for arts debuff. It's just Pramanix has so many competitions and they provides more flexibility than her, she's trully powercrept. Silence was only decent in the early, but after getting Warfarin, Ptilopsis or even Whisperain you she's easily replaced, it's better to invest on low rarity medics like Susuroo who is cheaper until you get the 5-star or above rarities. Meta wise Silence and Pramanix has fallen behind, but then again we can play whatever we want and free to have opinions. The game is PvE anyways.
I feel like people sometimes underrate Silence's usefulness. Her drone being placeable anywhere in the map is an insane skill, and with how fast it recharges, strategies that usually require 2 medics can be done with just Silence. That's one free slot for another dps unit instead of another healer.
Healing just isn't very valuable in this game. - Killing faster >>> Survivability. This is a game where the best defense is more offense. - There's a lot of non-medics that can heal, or have substantial self-sustain. - Typical Defender + Medic setup loses out to stall mechanics and burst. - Fast Redeploys effectively cover all 3 of those. You take them off the board; they don't need healing. Red has stun -> stall, and provides good burst dps.
@@APsupportsTerrorism You're right, but only assuming that you're talking about an advanced late game account where a player has many 6 stars to choose from. Before you reach that point, healing is still valuable. I think Silence is the best medic for early and middle game. And even late game if you don't have many good 6 stars to compensate. People always say that Warfarin is the better 5 star medic, but I think she's only better in really difficult content like cc or challenge modes where her buff is needed. In general content, Silence has more uses.
@@mrhondo12345 thinking about getting Silence over Pramanix so would it be a waste to also grab Watfarin or Ptilopsis alongside her? Otherwise i guess blue poison is nice since i don't have 5 stars medics or AA snipers
Liskarm was my favorite unit when I was new to the game, so I would probably tell new players to get her if they didn't pull Hoshiguma. I don't have Red, though, so I don't know much about her. It's hard to choose because Pramanix is cute, but I would probably actually try to use Red. Thanks for hammering in the the whole "choose who you like" thing because I spent my 6 star ticket on Blemishine, but I got three top operator tags in two weeks only a short while later so I ended up getting a free Saria anyway, and am happily using both. Reading the pinned comment: Oh god, I forgot about the E2 promotion ticket. Well, it's not like I'll have managed to get Warfarin by then, so Red's probably the only prospective op.
general assesment videos like this is very good. i only recently got a few friends interested in arknights and have since shown your channel to them. content like this is great for those guys so thank you.
YOOOOOO! I'm very much looking forward to the showcase/best use guides for all the operators. Those will be dope. Honestly, I think all four are amazing but I think I agree with you that Projekt Red is the best choice. It's always nice having someone who can drop in when you've underestimated the choke point and need a short pause on the action to regain control. If not Red, I'd probably go for Liskarm for the skill points. She's solid. Nice vid, my dude.
I choose silence as my free 5* from the selector ticket back then. IMO the wisest action for new players is to hold on to your 5* selector ticket, play the game for awhile, get operators from headhunting and recruitment, and see what operator you're missing from the 5* selector, then use it to obtain what you missed.
Ah, I think I'm gonna follow your advice then, many people suggested to get Projekt Red, but I'm still not in a situation where I really need a Fast Redeploy op. But a question tho, does the ticket have an expiration date?
@@lobiun8110 when the first time I played, yes there is an expiration date but it was like 2 months expiration date so I have a lot of time to consider back then.
@@johanesbpermadi2016 oh well, that's quite a long time. The thing is, I don't have all the OPs in that ticket, but since I'm saving a lot for Chen, I'd consider which one I'm gonna pick after pulling. Thanks for the answer man, have a great day!
I’ve been playing this game for two months now. I am a huge fan of Nearl. I’m glad to see that my search for my precious knightness is finally over with this ticket
Agreed that Red would be an excellent pick (if you're in early stages and in a pinch, you can even use her as a DPS). I won't recommend Liskarm next though - she's fairly expensive to deploy, and if you're in early game, your units are mostly going to be around E0 or E1, and you probably do need a defender ready to tank damage properly. The 3 and 4 star defenders do their job really well, so getting Liskarm would mostly be for playing around with her talent. I'll recommend Pramanix instead - another source of Arts damage, cheap to deploy, her Weakening talent helps everyone in the team (aka you invest in her, she doesn't need to be attacking for you to gain benefits, and it's percentage-based). Her S1 attacks 2 targets and slows enemy attack speed, so she's helping everyone take less damage while helping them deal more at the same time. That's a lot of benefits all into a single 11-DP package. Plus, promoting to E1 - the only other easily available Supporter (barring Gacha luck) is Orchid and Earthspirit and both perform the same function, so there's no real competition for Supporter chips. For Liskarm she has to compete with Cuora, who's arguably among the strongest Defenders in the game, as well as medic Defenders. Silence I'd say lowest priority for completely new players. Again, expensive to deploy: but also, drones only last 10 seconds, so it's mainly good for emergency healing only. Might as well bring a Lancet 2. You use up 1 team slot but most times you can't deploy that many operators at once anyway, you might not need the full 12 roster (yes, downside is that Lancet is basically a one-use emergency healer, redeployment time too long, Silence gives you multiple emergency healing chances). But if you're few months into the game and want to play around with drones/summons etc, then Silence would be fun to use.
When the game launched I chose Silence over Pramanix because I just assumed she would show up eventually. Nearly 2 years later my Silence is max pot and not a single Pramanix :D
I played AK for a year now, and this video still teach me new stuff. Like I never realised Red S1 have physical & arts dodge and Saria give 1SP every heal!
I think silence with her drone should be the highest recommendation. Low learning curve and really lets you get away with some things that you couldn't otherwise, due to the extremely high burst healing that the drone does. (On an extremely low cooldown if I may add) It's also a very good "Oh fuck" mechanism that you generally don't need to plan around. With red you generally need to plan a stage out atleast a little bit and it's just not very new player friendly. I've also had some friends that started and told me they couldn't really figure out how to use project red and just ran out of DP. I think it's very important to keep in mind that unlike us more experienced players, most newer players won't have a (built) myrtle and can't sustain a red yet. It's generally not feasable with the lower end and level vanguards. With all those things in mind my recommendation for the ticket would instead be: Silence > Liskarm > Red > Pram.
I highly recomend the defender liskarm. Not only do you have a solid defender she can also help shoot down air units. Silence is great, but for newer players its not really needed as you will get more than enough medics early on
i think Silence actually useful for new players because most of the time you'll trying to sustain the damage rather than dealing damage since your dps is not properly built yet and the drone definitely helped because there's no 3-star AoE medic. and the SP cost of the drone too is quite low. BUT, her use fell off in the later stage when you have other operators and other medics actually does better at later stages than Silence, like, Sussuro and warfarin. heck, you just need Saria in the late game anyway
I don't really like arts damage so much because i don't really have much casters, so i'm definitely going to take Pramanix, in my squad i have Bagpipe, Eunectes (using her is really fun), Hoshiguma, Meteor to lower the defense, Shirayuki is my source of temporary arts damage, but she still deals mostly phys dmg, and also Pinecone cause she is also really fun to use. Oh, and i'm also building Pallas to make Eunectes a beast. So all of this characters will get a crazy value out of the Pramanix' massive defense debuff. And i'm still using Kroos because she and Meteor are the only anti-air snipers i have, so i guess blue poison or platinum is my pick for the second selector kit.
red was my first 5 star ever, she deserves so much love! i think i'll be picking liskarm, i feel like i could get the most use out of her! silence is so cute though, it's going to be hard to say no to her
Worth mentioning project red is probably the rarest 5* out there. I've played the game like 2 years and only has one copy probably. The mention about red's talent, 'if the enemy has high defense, she ignores a portion of it'. It narratively correct but not technically works that way. She just deal 30% of her attack as minimum damage which usually 5% on regular characters. Her attack is low so it may not a big of deal, like 50ish at e2 high level. Surely helps tho. Fast attack speed can use Skalter buff to make it better.
I would go Liskarm every time. She is one of my favourite. She is also I feel the most unique out of the 4. She can also hit flyers and arts damage. Cone on so good.
Yeah, i really like liskarm. Esspecially as the second skill gives a short stun, which is nice for controlled leaks, not that theres usually much around when tge stun kicks in. That being said, Red seems like she could be very powerful if you can be bothered with microing fast redeploy operator's.
Funnily enough, out of all the 20+ 5 star recruitment, the only launch 5 star I haven't got is Blue Poison. Somehow managing to avoid my pulls after all this time. I'm so happy to finally complete the launch 5 stars roster
I'd say if you're a new player(welcome btw) just get any 5 star who you like, else if you want to minmax, get whose class you're currently missing: Liskarm for tank (with meme potential with that trait of hers), Silence for versatile healer (with her second skill), Projekt red for very very versatile operator that harasses enemies by stunning or assassinating, and pramanix if you want to debuff enemies(but debuffing comps are fairly endgame). That being said, If I am going to play with a new account, I'll definitely take Projekt red. She's a panic button who'll help your missions in case you screwed up. If somehow I already have Red, It might make sense to just get Silence because she's convenient and also helps to work as a panic button, but I personally like Liskarm just because she's actually my first 5 star pull (personal bias). By the way, for the other 5 star selector, I would say that Ptilopsis, Texas, Lappland, Specter, and Blue Poison are solid in their gear, though I'll recommend Specter if you intend to max any 5 star out (she doesn't fucking die, but that duration of hers extends as you upgrade her skill)
The 1st time I played and Pick what 4 of the 5 Star Operator I want to pick, I immediately Choose Projekt Red it took me about 5 Days to actually love using her especially when she became E1. Her S2 is so good to use especially in a Swarm of Enemies.
Liskarm was the first defender I pulled, and her focus on restoring adjacent allies' SP helped cement my mindset of team oriented squads. So I love units like Indigo and Blemishine as those kinds of units encourage building squads around them. Indigo and Ethan alone make, for example, PL-5 autodeploys pretty trivial Red is also an excellent unit. Silence's drones do quite a bit of healing. Pram is great for debuffs. But yeah, Red is probably the better choice for a beginner compared to Liskarm. Red is best described as a panic button that stabs leaks lol Also Liskarm S2 is an amazing skill. Fite me
Silence has got me through so many hard events with her S2, I extremely recommend her if you are missing a solid medic. Mine's currently E2 lvl 40 with S2M3 (yeah i did it) and no regrets. Drone is up so fast and so often, that additional healing is sooo good. She is part of my core squad. Liskarm is an SP battery and solid defender as well with more range then any other defender on EN as of right now. Very good to have if you are missing a solid defender. She is also part of my core squad but I tend to swap her out for a bit more power if needed. If you are missing either, they are both excellent choices. Pramanix and Red are too, I just don't use them enough to truly be able to recommend them.
Thanks for your comment. Kind of validated my thought of grabbing silence over Pramanix since i only have 4 stars medics. Now just gotta figure out if i want Warfarin or Ptilopsis
@@borrow4654 In my opinion; Strongly depends on your playstyle for Warfarin and Ptilopsis. Warfarin S2 is really strong, you just need to be mindful of placement of target ally and Warfarin to ensure the buff triggers on the ally you want. And this is possible at E1 already so an E2 is not required but very helpful. Ptilopsis is primarily used as an SP battery/medic. Her Talent allows passive SP recovery per second of all allies which is very useful for allies with long cooldown on abilities. at E2 the Talent is strong granting more SP per second so an E2 is recommended to get the most value out of her. Her skills don't really need masteries, just the E2 is fine for the Talent. Depending on your playstyle: - Buffing a single operator to carry (Warfarin) - Rely on several operators with abilities you wish to use (Ptilopsis) But also farming for materials for promotions. I feel like Warfarin is harder to E2 due to her required materials... AS for Silence; like I said, she is a good choice. But that's my experience since she has saved me on the harder stages during events. But don't sleep on your 4* medics. Don't know which ones you have but Sussurro S2 and Perfumer's Talent are really strong and Myrrh's Talent has saved me many times too.
@@MiseryRG I have pretty much every 4 stars i think so im good there. Just have no 5 stars ST/AOE medics or AA snipers so these free vouchers look amazing to me. I have Liskarm but need to practice better operator positioning for her SP generation. Pramanix sounds cool but i only use slower supporter...never really touched the other archetypes. And even then Shamare seems a bit better Warfarin, Ptilopsis and Silence seem appealing to me cause i always see them being used in a bunch of strats so surely that means something. Otherwise theres always Blue Poison if picking 2 medics is a bit silly but since I've got Greythroat its not as important
@@borrow4654 In the end the choice is yours. There are many playstyles and thus more than 1 way to clear a stage. Essentially you can't make a wrong decision... No matter who you end up choosing, you can make it work, you'll just have to build around them. And this is one of the few games I play that has a lot characters and all are useful in their own way, even the low 1*, 2* and 3* stars.
As much as I wanted Red to get her pot 5, I already have Phantom as my to go raid specialist, plus Liskarm is hard to come home in my account for potentials, so this is an absolute win. Plus the other 5* selector ticket, I'm finally gonna have Specter soon as my aoe guard, time to retire Popukar.
adding to to Project Red Her e2 infrastructure skill, according to gamepress calculations, is the 2nd highest clue finding speed (tie with astesia, with Chen being the highest).
Honestly, 'pull what your heart desires' is the best advice you can give to anyone when it comes to this game. That's what's nice about Arknights : every character is viable if used properly. (also... am I the only one that got spooked so much by Red on various banners that she is pot30 or something. lol she's working her fast redeploy magic on my headhunting bags.)
I have owned Nightingale and Warfarin since my first week of gameplay and I have pretty much every non welfare 5* in the game... Except for Silence. Hell, the inevitable Lappland I've wanted since the beginning finally found her way to me 2 months ago. I own a potential 6 Warfarin! And not a single Silence in sight. If I didn't have any of these Red would be a no brainer, but I really want to complete my squad :')
When i first started I chose project red without looking at videos because something told me to choose her over the others. It was a hard choice and I sat there for like 2 days agonizing over it since they all looked cool. Project red helped me out so much since her cost was low and I was able to keep putting her down. She got even better after her e1 then e2 and helped with boss stages to stall them and deal a chunk of damage.
I picked Pramanix in the first ticket when the game launched cuz she's pretty. I still remember having fun with the multi-target that she does with her S1 when I cleared the first and second Annihilation stages as a complete noob.
I'd say the same for Pramanix - she allowed many of the lower tier memebers of my squad to shine brightly in various situations when I didn't have meta operators. ^^
7:32 me too made same choice when I first join the game My take on this for early game players is don't use it right away until you understood who you really want/need to get out of this selector ticket
I'm lucky when I got Projekt Red (and Silverash) from a guarantee 5* and above for the first 10 pulls, so I'm here to see who among the other three should I get Edit: btw, I started playing a few days ago, and got to promote Amiya and Jessica
I'd rate Pramanix higher for newer players, because they will often rely on friend units to clear difficult content like CC and Pramanix can multiply their damage. Also, while her damage is low, she hits 2 targets and brings arts damage on a very low cost, I remember when I started out, it was quite a struggle to get arts damage where needed. One thing I'd like to point out is, that it's fairly easy to get a good (enough) medic or defender from Recruitment, and Gravel/Yato usually get the job done, tough Project Red is a big upgrade.
out of these four, Pramanix is the only operator I don't have and REALLY need. I'm really lacking a strong buffer/debuffer, and I think she'll really fit my squad
New players I recommend you pick what you specifically want, whatever the reason. Even if they're not good. Who knows if you might end up like me and not pulling Nightmare for nearly 2 years. Use your selector wisely lmao.
You kind of forgot one major point, and that is that potentials for fast redeploys are much more impactful than for any other class. If you are an experienced player that has all the operators and has project Red leveled, getting -DP cost on a fast redeploy is always worth it.
I'm newbie and I the reason why I pick Red is she has the design kinda like Red Riding Hood lol 😂 I'm simping little red riding hood don't know why. Her color palette is so nice
@@5ilent5layer13 i don't play Nikke but i saw Red Hood design, honestly, she's not the type of red hood that i like tho, i like the more innocent but strong type, and of course have the hood on. But Red Hood looks cool and slay
I'm gonna have to flip a coin between Liskarm and Projekt Red. I already have Pramanix and Silence, but since I also have Waai Fu, Hoshiguma, and Ptilopsis I don't have significant need for the other characters' utilities either. Praying recruitment tags can make the choice for me lol
For a new player the best option is to choose someone realiable that can help you in almost all situations, that's why pramanix is a bad option, because almost all supporters are situationals, you only will use them in a few stages, and pramanix have another issue: she can't slow, that makes her more situational that the situational slow supporters, so if you'are new and you want a reliable operator the you can choose any other of the 3 that the ticket give u. - Silence: good medic that can make the work of 2 medics in 1 providing single target healing and aoe healing with skill 2. - Liskarm: great tank that can carry you in hard times not only with the skill 1 that kukki said, but also with her skill 2 that can make her deal with all sh*t in her range, stuning them and doing good arts damage. the only trait with the skill 2 is that after finish using the skill she will get stuned for 5 second, so you have to be careful in what moment you wanna use her skill or else you will be trolled by her stun xd. -Proyekt red: i truly beliave that she's one of the best operators in game, because she provide a lot of flexibility in the strategies, also she can help when you make an error, you only deploy her and if she didn't kill the target she surely will give you those precious seconds that you need to fix the error. you only need to invest a little on her and basically you will say: gg easy stages.
Pramanix is top pick. Mainstay in my team ever since I got her. That S2 allows your dps to melt elites and bosses like butter. Plus she is fluffy, and has a cute skin :3
I did not know what Liskarm's skills we're until I watched this (been playing the game for 2 or 3 months now).... I still decided to pick Projekt Red because I like her as a specialist and have been wanting to have her for a while...
To be honest you can get Projekt Red from the recruitment, I got plenty of her there. Liskarm on the other hand is harder to get and is better overall base from my experience, she's also irreplaceable. Red on the other hand can be replaced by Phantom, Waiifu, Jaye, Mr. Nothing and Kafka. It's still your choice tho.
I really like Red, to the point I brought her charachter to a Shadowrun campaign. Turned out to be an absolute blast, especially the introduction, where she stealthed through a house full of orcs and a team of decent shadowrunners just to be found fluffing the rigger's tail with a knife on his neck. While hanging upside down on a chandelier. The street sam tried to kill her for that "disgrace of a warrior", to no affair. But I have her at full potential, so probably going to take Liskarm, due to liking Vouivres in general.
Silence and Specter for obvious reasons specter is a 3 block at elite 2 that has an invicibility skill in her kit while Silence is 1 medic with 2 healing methods her skill 2 can deploy aditional little healing drone anywhere on the map
In Chapter 8 guys, Project Red is so Good with her Skill 1. Those fire doesn't hit Project Red which is so helpful. Her S2 is also helpful to Stun enemies for 2 seconds. She is also helpful in stage 5 of LMD in Supplies with Gravel. Also If you want lickable legs, her legs is perfect for that.
Liskarm is irreplaceable, she's the only defender with that kind of utility. Red on the other hand can be replaced by any faster redeploys and got powercrept so hard by Phantom.
I played Arknights since launched and a level 120 Doktah, so it's safe for me to assume I'm a veteran at this point, so here's my opinion. Personally, this advice is good, Red's value is good since she's usable both early and late game, plus, you don't need to invest a lot for her to be valuable. But I would to give a suggestion that, if you're going to use your 5star pack, my advice is to get what you don't have since the archetypes of these 4 operators can be filled by their 3 or 4-star variants. From experience, it's better to fill up those "missing" archetypes. By having diversity in your roster, you can be ready for any Map or Event they throw at you. KyoStinV once something said like this: "He makes his low-level guides to not for you follow "exactly" what he does, but do give you an "idea" on what to do." You don't "need" the exact Operator, but it's Archetype.
I just started this game less than a week ago, chose Pramanix I just can't see how she's not the best choice with her op debuff skillz and range (Currently in chapter 2-12 in the story)
I have been playing this game since launch, and i can finally get a guarantee manticore to get all of the original characters that you could get from the recruitment.
I saw the video title and I was like, "I have them all" but deep inside, I'm eyeing on Red cause I wanted more pots with her, as she's my savior if I needed more than 2 fast redeploy ops (other than Gravel and Yato).
So a compressed of all 5 stars operator you can get: Projekt red: Assasinate and isolate enemy... Or stall (Precious) time to slow down bosses and beeing a quick redeployer... Very cheap. Though she can be hard to use as a new player when you only have fang as a dp generator... But she can teach you the importance of timing and macroing operator and deployment Silence: Arguably a Very powerfull medic (possibly best 5 stars healing specific you can get) with over the top healing drone with a short cooldown and _Very long_ uptime. Solid choice for both starter and long term alike Liskarm: Offensive defender... Also a SP(skill point) Generator (Not dp(Deployment point) generator) strong overall both for soaking and damaging and a unique ranged attack though her defensive recovery hurt pretty badly if the stage you are in are filled with heavy hitter (Most unlikely if you are new), but she is good nontheless Pramanix: All i could say is that... She is really good... Her 1st promotion makes all enemy in her range that have less than 40% health take a considerably more damage. Both skill is Very solid (Kinda underestimating her abit) 1st skill outright making enemy that have low attack interval a joke while almost literally disable heavy hitter... Effectively making them a walking dead weight for the skill duration... 2nd skill remove a really huge ammount of armor and resistance... Making the heaviest of enemy more or less a glass cannon... Though her survivability is a joke Overall: Red is good both as a teaching and offensive unit Silence is a solid medic that's pretty hilariously broken with healing drone Liskarm is great as a defender and also have a great offensive capability. Just time it right Pramanix, great supporter... Shitty survivability
I had Silence and Liskarm already so it was tough to pick between Projekt Red and Pramanix...until I saw the new skin for Red. Don't look at me like that - I'm a sucker for summer themes and it caught me at a moment of weakness 🤷🏿♂️

@@shaunaburst5638 Projekt Red is still more versatile and it's even better to have both units. So I think the argument to get her still stands.
@@frenzleboy well you would have a problem with dp cost with red as a beginner, but for long time players, they may have already maxed her potential
@@kobeyashi6981 hmm could be. I've never had dp Problems with Red since Day 1 but yes Gravel is even cheaper.
for someone who has all 4 of them
Projekt Red pot is definitely the one I'm going for
Yeah, a fast redeploy costing less is always a good thing
I already max pot Liskarm (My fav) so I'll also be going for Project Red
fast redeploy are evergreen due to their uses. Liskarm and Silence can be swapped in for other 5 or even 4 stars in their class with no real issues.
plenty of maps where you want to use 2 or more fast redeploys for stalling, sniping or drawing attacks, so rocking Red and Gravel is still a viable lineup.
I’m only getting red potential all cuz of GuinGuin.
Red is too adorable and wholesome to give up on
I’ll be just saving the permit
@@Phos9 I already have Waai Fu. Should I still go for Projekt Red?
@@MMAA-39 Probably not, Red's stun is much more generally applicable but in your case I imagine you would get more value out of Liskarm or Silence.
I didn't even needed red I just got Texas alter when I join the game:3
Red has one of my absolute favorite designs out of the cast. I love her thematically as well as her association with Kal'tsit and a particular fairy tale. Therefore, I shall get a potential for the best murder-pupper.
As always: Cheers everyone! ^_^
For the 5 star, I wonder between BP or Greythroat.
@@rezafebriansyah8620 Blue poison is somewhat better than Grey throat in my opinion because she does arts damage.
I'mma not lie, my 5* when I first started was Silence actually. Helps a lot when you need a healer who can quickly cover large areas or just repeatedly top up one person in a pinch.
yeah I picked Silence and i dont regret it either
When i started playning AK I also choose silence not only that but she was my first E2 I did
I think i will choose Silence i have Red and Liskarm + i got Suzu from last banner so i really don't need Pramanix even tho her E2 looks sick.
Years ago I bought Silence in the cert shop, Hoshi was my only 6* so it was worth it imo
Ive probably used fast redeploy tag a billion times so Im going for red and her new skin is gonna make it so much better.
I've only Liskarm, so I'll be picking Red. I see her used quite often in guides and niche clears. Plus an on-demand stun is invaluable. Her assassination skill seems rather useful, too. Dodge & stun are fun mechanics!
her talent that allows her to do x amount minimum true damage allows her to be very viable to late game too c:
I have them all, so I'll get Projekt Red. Same with Kukki, I highly recommend her plus she will be getting her summer skin so no brainer decision for me.
Me too, I have all of them and I need red's potentials
The only one I’m missing is Projekt Red so the choice is easy for me! I’ve been trying so hard to get her, I’m very happy for this
Meanwhile inside my head
Angel me: "Pick Red to increase her pot level. For fast-redeploy, 1 less DP cost is important"
Devil me: "Nah. Pick Silence or Liskarm. You already maxed their potentials, so that means more yellow certificates!"
I have the 3 of them already so I'll go for Projekt Red since she's the only one I need. Very hyped for the second 5 star selector.
I would recommend for newer players Liskarm and from the other ticket Lappland. The combination of these two is super strong.
Projekt Red is one of my favourite operator and also one of my first operator
I would definitely choose her for the ticket but I have her at full pot somehow
I also have all the other operators in the selector but I've never really used them all that much because I always had someone better to replace them with or something like that. But Red really saved my ass in numerous different situations from early episodes all the way to the very last stage of ep 8
All operators in the ticket are good but I'd highly recommend Red (+ she's getting a summer skin soon.
I've been wanting projekt red since I started playing, I see this as an absolute win
Ash 2nd skill stun stops when she exactly has half clip (assuming she keeps shooting non stop) but if you use project red she will keep dealing huge damage all of her remaining clip
for the people who don't know about Ash s2 : she shoots 31 bullets very fast and deals 250% (M3)damage to stunned targets
"Liskarm role is very unique"
Yes, she is my Aak's target to charge Thorns skill
Well finally after playing for 9 months, I can get Pramanix since she is the reason I play AK
nice ^^ you'll not be disappointed in her skills, she could have easily taken the #1 spot if research for this video was performed a little bit better.
Me a first time player who don't know anything about the game mechanics
Chose Pramanix thinking this would be great unit because she can multi target and debuff.
Well she can, after she was upgraded. But, I'm a fresh new player and for now, i barely use her
Her first skill tipped the scale enough for me to steamroll LS-3 and CE-3 with lvl25-30 operators. Bell lady is busted.
[2:48] *Looks Behind Back* “Oh ok, it was just a lucky guess.”
Out of 4 of them, I still use 3 on regular basis: red, pram and lisk
Silence unfortunately fell off since there are a lot better healers with more utility.
I have max pot red and lisk already so I guess I'll pick pram
Lol I love using Silence just for her drones
@@kaushikdas9294 the issue with silence is that she only heals and nothing else. Comparing to the like of ptilopsis, warfarin, nightingale, shining etc, she doesn't offer any utility
on my acc, Silence are the only 1 of those 4 that still E1 lvl 1 XD
it might because at the early days i mainly depend of both Ptilopsis and Perfumer as my main medic, while these time around is Whisperain S2 that become my core medic
My conclusion:
1. Silence is REALLY good for newbie.
2. For veteran players, she still has some use on some special condition. But overall, you will prefer Ptilopsis for the sp regen, Nightingale for heavy arts dmg stage, or even Skadi Alter as she can heal and buff your team at the same time.
Going for Pramanix, gonna get my waifu the pots she deserve
If you're a newer player (or even an older one) the correct priority list for recruitment is as follows:
1. Pramanix / Silence
2. Project Red
Not to mention Suzuran is a 6* so ... no idea why are you even mentioning that unit, it's really not that relevant in a 5* usefulness discussion lol ^^"
Like Skalter (but ofc. not as much) she allows many other operators (not named Surtr or Thorns) to shine brightly if you wish to use them for husbando / waifu or whatever other reasons, and that is amazing.
Of Course I'm going to pick Silence. I need 2 more pots to have my waifu maxed out!
@@borrow4654 Getting 2 medics might be a bit much, so Blue Poison or Platinum should be a better choice.
Well, it's not like I'll have managed to get Warfarin by then, so Red's probably the only prospective op.
general assesment videos like this is very good. i only recently got a few friends interested in arknights and have since shown your channel to them. content like this is great for those guys so thank you.
also, full pot liskarm silence and red means my choice is already made for me anyway but keep making these vids and we'll keep watching anyway.

Awesome video as always, I really appreciate how the video catered to new and veteran players.
(On an extremely low cooldown if I may add)
It's also a very good "Oh fuck" mechanism that you generally don't need to plan around.
Fun fact & Tips : AFAIK Liskarm is only defender can hit the drone / flying objects :)
I highly recomend the defender liskarm.
Not only do you have a solid defender she can also help shoot down air units.
Silence is great, but for newer players its not really needed as you will get more than enough medics early on
I abuse liskarm with aak, getting that +15 sp super charge to a mage/supporter
i think Silence actually useful for new players because most of the time you'll trying to sustain the damage rather than dealing damage since your dps is not properly built yet and the drone definitely helped because there's no 3-star AoE medic. and the SP cost of the drone too is quite low. BUT, her use fell off in the later stage when you have other operators and other medics actually does better at later stages than Silence, like, Sussuro and warfarin. heck, you just need Saria in the late game anyway
Until you get Surtr :V
I don't really like arts damage so much because i don't really have much casters, so i'm definitely going to take Pramanix, in my squad i have Bagpipe, Eunectes (using her is really fun), Hoshiguma, Meteor to lower the defense, Shirayuki is my source of temporary arts damage, but she still deals mostly phys dmg, and also Pinecone cause she is also really fun to use. Oh, and i'm also building Pallas to make Eunectes a beast. So all of this characters will get a crazy value out of the Pramanix' massive defense debuff. And i'm still using Kroos because she and Meteor are the only anti-air snipers i have, so i guess blue poison or platinum is my pick for the second selector kit.
red was my first 5 star ever, she deserves so much love! i think i'll be picking liskarm, i feel like i could get the most use out of her! silence is so cute though, it's going to be hard to say no to her
Thanks for this! I already have 2 copies of Project Red so I'm going to pull for Liskarm, I really like her anyways
Aiming for a max pot Liskarm, this puts a smile on my face
Thanks for this video, man.
Helps a lot.
This is Dr. Aithios, picking Ptilopsis' boss home (I don't have her xd)
Newbie here. Been playing for three days and was lucky enough to get Projekt Red already in the recruitment. Guess I'll be going for Liskarm then!
Indigo and Ethan alone make, for example, PL-5 autodeploys pretty trivial
Red is also an excellent unit. Silence's drones do quite a bit of healing. Pram is great for debuffs. But yeah, Red is probably the better choice for a beginner compared to Liskarm. Red is best described as a panic button that stabs leaks lol
Also Liskarm S2 is an amazing skill. Fite me
I could go for pot 4 Red but I think I like a max pot Liskarm more.
Depending on your playstyle:
- Buffing a single operator to carry (Warfarin)
- Rely on several operators with abilities you wish to use (Ptilopsis)
But also farming for materials for promotions.
And even then Shamare seems a bit better
Warfarin, Ptilopsis and Silence seem appealing to me cause i always see them being used in a bunch of strats so surely that means something.
I prayed for getting pramanix before kjerag event in global and this comes...
Thanks God! I love HG so much 😭
I'm most likely going for Red and Silence, There are other i want but this two are the ones that will make the biggest difference for me.
adding to to Project Red
Her e2 infrastructure skill, according to gamepress calculations, is the 2nd highest clue finding speed (tie with astesia, with Chen being the highest).
Yeah project red is solid choice for new player she Literally carry me in early game and save my back so many time and still i use for late game
I'd say the same for Pramanix - she allowed many of the lower tier memebers of my squad to shine brightly in various situations when I didn't have meta operators. ^^
7:32 me too made same choice when I first join the game
My take on this for early game players is don't use it right away until you understood who you really want/need to get out of this selector ticket
sometime the best way to decide something is to listen what your D want
I'm lucky when I got Projekt Red (and Silverash) from a guarantee 5* and above for the first 10 pulls, so I'm here to see who among the other three should I get
Edit: btw, I started playing a few days ago, and got to promote Amiya and Jessica
I'm really lacking a strong buffer/debuffer, and I think she'll really fit my squad
fast redeploy is always the best for pot too. and I would agree with pretty much everything you said there as well.
I have the four of them with pots. So I guess I'll pick Red or Silence, both of them are really useful and I'm satisfied with my Liskarm already.
I'm newbie and I the reason why I pick Red is she has the design kinda like Red Riding Hood lol 😂
I'm simping little red riding hood don't know why. Her color palette is so nice
If you like red hood-styled characters, I'd like to askl, what do you think of Nikke's version of little red riding hood(AKA Red Hood) ?
@@5ilent5layer13 i don't play Nikke but i saw Red Hood design, honestly, she's not the type of red hood that i like tho, i like the more innocent but strong type, and of course have the hood on. But Red Hood looks cool and slay
@@samsunggalaxyj4182 I liked her personality, but honestly I don't know why, but she looks like someone who would ride a motorcycle with that jacket
Finally I can get Projekt Red with one ticket and Lappland with the other to flesh out my Hotdog Squad more
For a new player the best option is to choose someone realiable that can help you in almost all situations, that's why pramanix is a bad option, because almost all supporters are situationals, you only will use them in a few stages, and pramanix have another issue: she can't slow, that makes her more situational that the situational slow supporters, so if you'are new and you want a reliable operator the you can choose any other of the 3 that the ticket give u.
Finally Liskarm!! One of the few 5 stars I don't have
I did not know what Liskarm's skills we're until I watched this (been playing the game for 2 or 3 months now)....
I have all so, I'll take the projekt red pot, thank you. Especially with her module coming up in the future.
No Christmas and New Year gift for this.....
It's an absolute win!!
Liskarm
Liskarm is irreplaceable, she's the only defender with that kind of utility. Red on the other hand can be replaced by any faster redeploys and got powercrept so hard by Phantom.
The only one of these 4 that I haven’t got yet is projekt red, so I’m pretty excite to get her!
KyoStinV once something said like this: "He makes his low-level guides to not for you follow "exactly" what he does, but do give you an "idea" on what to do."
You don't "need" the exact Operator, but it's Archetype.
I just started this game less than a week ago, chose Pramanix I just can't see how she's not the best choice with her op debuff skillz and range
(Currently in chapter 2-12 in the story)
She's just not as intuitive to use. But of course she can most certainly still be just as helpful as everyone else
''you need to make the game your own game'' these were words wisely spoken
So a compressed of all 5 stars operator you can get:
Projekt red: Assasinate and isolate enemy... Or stall (Precious) time to slow down bosses and beeing a quick redeployer... Very cheap. Though she can be hard to use as a new player when you only have fang as a dp generator... But she can teach you the importance of timing and macroing operator and deployment
Silence: Arguably a Very powerfull medic (possibly best 5 stars healing specific you can get) with over the top healing drone with a short cooldown and _Very long_ uptime. Solid choice for both starter and long term alike
Liskarm: Offensive defender... Also a SP(skill point) Generator (Not dp(Deployment point) generator) strong overall both for soaking and damaging and a unique ranged attack though her defensive recovery hurt pretty badly if the stage you are in are filled with heavy hitter (Most unlikely if you are new), but she is good nontheless
Pramanix: All i could say is that... Though her survivability is a joke
Overall:
Red is good both as a teaching and offensive unit
Silence is a solid medic that's pretty hilariously broken with healing drone
Liskarm is great as a defender and also have a great offensive capability. Just time it right
Pramanix, great supporter... Shitty survivability
I had Silence and Liskarm already so it was tough to pick between Projekt Red and Pramanix...until I saw the new skin for Red. Don't look at me like that - I'm a sucker for summer themes and it caught me at a moment of weakness 🤷🏿♂️
Silverash will be delighted to hear that I'm picking pramanix
So we getting 2 5-star selector. I getting myself a red and either one of the two crazies.
