Ely can easily be replaced by Myrtle, who's easier to get, and cheaper to deploy, especialy since you'll get her max pot earlier as well, and I say that as someone who don't use flagbearer anymore cause I think peoples vastly overate them.

@@kaynanbirro7277 Personaly the only one that realy don't fit in the top 10 for me as I said in another comment is Texas, all the other can have their places with some argument, but Texas is just not good enough to be in the top 10 in any way, I can think of a dozen other ops that deserve a spot more than she does, and it's not even close. All the others operator mentioned at least have something unique going on, that's why I have no issue having april in there over any of the 5 others marksman sniper who all are pretty much interchangeables. But yeah, you're right, Ely does have his unique thing too, I just personaly don't use him despise having him built on 2 accounts, but I just don't use Flagbearers so I might just undervalue him idk.

Personal favorite of mine is Kazemaru, she’s a very versatile dollkeeper, has some really high phys damage with her S2, and just pops back after dying. She’s my go-to starter unit in IS3
Her arts damage bomb after doll dropped is huge too and she can do it at will. And if that isn't enough she basicaly tripples her damage with s2. Just because of that she is my almost most loved 5 star for quite a long time.
Should say for specter you have to take into account that you can get gladiia and a therapist healer for free from the permanent events. Gladiia’s module gives 30% max damage reduction to all abyssal hunter units. The therapist unit can also just remove stun on allies
Tbh default specter is great, but if you're not a niche player, then spalter is just better for general content due to her undying abilities (aka her trait) and SP regen to abyssal hunters. Also, you know the stun on specter's 2nd skill is there to prevent her from dying, right? Like, I don't want my therapist medic to remove her stun is she has only one health left and the enemy that was attacking her is still alive.

@@2265Hello Spalter is a bad example anyway*, and Gladia is a double synegy, -30% damage AND +3.5% heal, for self heal rivaling Mountain M2, [5.5"+30%"**] freeing up skill 1 or S2+Lumen, in any case Specter is a true Centurion so she dosn't have role split between skills like her alter. *Spalter is limited which is to say she only can be pulled once a year and you should expect to spend 300 pulls, i.e. 180K to get her. It took a year to get my account to the point I'm just saving for specials like her, though in all fairness I got Spalter/Skalter on a free 10 pull. **At max level Mountain is 7%x2728=191, Specter 2630x1.1(2)x1.3x5.5(6)%=206(229) Because damage reduction works against physical AND Arts Damage, in most cases it's the same as healing+hp up, against special damage, such as true she loses to mountain by 32/hps or 14/hps at pot 4.
The fact that most of them are from year 1 speaks a lot. Whenever a new banner gets me hyped nowadays it's always because of the cracked top units they rate up so it's like this rarity has become almost worthless unfortunately given that it has a lot of my fav ops

Whisperain's consistently powerful healing, wide range and free status resistance sold me on her. She's really dependable either in afk strats or babysitting melee ops against bosses so I had her as my main medic for a long time
Yessss. April is so underrated. I actually regularly go to her as a support unit because of the camouflage. I have firewatch built but you can't really helidrop her. As other comments mention, Shamare and Elysium are probably two important units that are missing. Some of my personal favourite 5 stars that aren't here are Kazemaru (great laneholding and starter unit), Tequila (really good burst DPS if you're lacking that), Firewhistle/Ashlock (Fortress are so underrated and both 5-star units are pretty good at crowd control). I'd remove Texas, Lappland, Spectre, and Liskarm from this list-they're kinda niche units that are alright for general gameplay
Texas/Zima are great options for Vanguards, especially for early players, I still use Zima at times despite having all 6* Vanguards (Siege, Flametail, Bagpipe, Saileach, Ines, Mule all E2'd (didn't bother with Saga and Vigil)), basically if I need Vanguard and there's no influx of enemies I use Zima, if there's influx of enemies I use Siege, if I need fast DP I'll use Zima or really fast DP, then Myrtle. Lappland is the best Silence option in the game, even without that aerial damage, great skills, fast cycling, good uptime, she's great in IS too. So yeah... while she's Niche, she's the "only" option for the niche too, since other operators aren't as good at it, or need to have skills up for Silence to be active, which isn't pracitcal. Specter is unique for her immortality, which is important for players that don't have access to 6*s which can survive things (like Blaze, Horn, Mudrock), and Block-3 and AoE Damage aren't anything to scoff at either. Liskarm... she's good, but I've never used her, got her too late, so didn't even E2 her yet. lol Her SP recovery is amazing for when you want faster skill cycling, and when you need someone "just to defend" she's the best option, but yeah...
IMO, if we're talking about new player, silence could be rated higher than warfarin. I think warfarin's 2nd skill and talent has very limited impact in early game and she requires proper positioning (as you said) if you don't want to waste s2, while silence's aoe healing drone is just insanely good

She is inslasmely strong against enemis who attack from deployable tile, at least on paper. But she takes slot from an additional DPS/Healer in practrice. She is good, but situational.
If you want versatility let me tell you about kazemaru, low dp cost, covers a wide range, substitute could attack flying enemies, nuke on skill with very high attack buff, can deal arts damage via talent, archetype can sustain a good amount of damage, really strong in integrated strategies and above all, cute maid outfit.
i think all the aa archer mentioned here is not relevant if you compare them with April, yes they have almost the same "power level" as you said but their play style is different. April is fast redeploy ranged invisible assassin while the others are truly a sniper who need to stay in the field, even among all the aa sniper they have different job too. 1. BP is more into attacking multiple enemies and really awesome at it. 2. Platinum have the highest DPH and have more attack range than the other other 5* aa snipers, good against medium armored drone. 3. Kroos alter is good against single enemy with her fast attack speed, multi hit, and critical talent, can become invisible too if needed but people more often use her for her high DPS skill than her invisibility. 4. Insider also a good addition in the group, he have more faster skill cycle than Kroos alter even though he deal less damage than her. easier to use than Kroos alter and allow you to place him more aggressively than the other 5* aa snipers because his ability to lower his taunt level. 5. Greytroath also good, she got overshadowed by Kroos alter because how both of them have similar talent and style focused on critical and multi hitting single enemy but Kroos alter is easier to use. Even though it is like that, Greytroath is probably have the highest DPS to a single unit amongs all the other 5* aa snipers if only her skills is not attack recovery skill.

Basically, anyone that does what even 6 stars can't. Which is not much even count 3 and 4 stars. For example Lappy, until new 6 stars that can multi silence drop...Who knows, maybe she would powercreep herself like Spectre😂

@@newhope33 Ptilopsis E2 can make many ops significantly better. Mlynar? Faster cycle on S3, Blaze? S2 active much faster, Standard Bearers? Quicker DP generation, Eyja? Again faster cycles on Volcano, Saria? Faster cycles on S1. If your op has Auto SP generation she just makes them better.

So they are -Texas- , April , Specter, -Firewatch- , Ptilopsis, La Pluma, Warfarin, Cantabile, -Liskarm- , Lappland Kinda agree with some of them, but I think you can add few like: • Blue Poison, currently best ranged DoT in-game. She's like the most frequently used 5★ sniper for AFK strat • Whisperain, best status resistance provider. In the past she was mediocre and overshadowed by Lumen, but her module greatly elevates her usefulness thanks to her auto regen • Honeyberry, with her low cost elemental dmg heal Also, special mention to our CEO, • Amiyeeeeee- her versatility is ridiculous. She mainly acts as nuker, and her form switch allows her to be used as replacement in many strats
BP's DoT is negligible. She is very good ranged DPS Marksman , but her niche is very crowded. Whisperain is good when you need status reistsnce, Honeyberry is good when yio have to deal with elemtal damage But those two are very situational Operators.
BPs DoT is irrelevant, if any of the 5*s Stand out than it's Platinum, first due to her range, she can start damaging enemies earlier, before they walk into range of the others, even kill enemies before they can move, on top of all that, the more DEF enemies have, the more she stands out, and even has higher DPS than Exusiai past certain point. BP's DoT is irrelevant there too. Whisperain is... shit. I mean... next to Ptilo, Warfarin and Berries you don't need to develop yet another 5* Medic, you're better of going to 4*s like Perfumer/Sussurro so you can have them for IS. Amyia is underrated, but she's better than most 6* Casters, and works as decent boss killer as both Caster and Guard. Plus you need to E2 her anyway so...

There are also many 5 stars operators who deserve to be on this list like Silence, Shamare... or even Blue Poison/Kroos Glint if we talk about marksman. They are good not just for the beginning of the game, because of how unique they are, and you just put fkin Texas, April and Firewatch on the list. Cantabile might be good if you don't want to/can't use flagbearer in a map because you want early damage (and 1 block to avoid leaking a first few dogs or something like that) + dp generation. However, she won't sit that high on the list because of one reason : replacement. I know that this is a top 5 stars video but that doesn't change the fact that people are going to get better units for their team. So unless you like Cantabile, investment into her is not worth it once you got Ines (which is a way better option). Warfarin gotta be one of the operators that I use the most throughout the entire game (surely the most used 5 star) Every single map where I need a medic I just put her in the team. She is used even more than 6 stars healers and she is also the number 1 priority when I choose a medic. Her first skill just heals too much, it has a cheap SP cost, can hold 4 charges at M3, and it's auto-activated. Along with good SP recovery talent (self and teammate) and the module that gives her even more healing, she is literally a walking hospital that could heal a dying operator into completely healthy in a blink of an eye.
Whisperain is my absolute best medic. I've never had problems with healing as long as i deployed her. I'd add lappland too since her burst potential paired with liskarm is deadly.
I can see quercus being a solid 5 star to build as her module removes atk penalty for her healing which means she can out heal medics due to faster atk speed
quite a good video and I used quite a few from that list for my normal team (texas, la pluma, ptilopsie, specter, firewatch, warfarin) but since my birdniche, it switched even further to 5*, but to other types and I have to say: I love them all Greythroat is a good sniper who is a archetto, but weaker and still can deal good dmg Poncirus is a pseudo tank. her s2 is with second use unlimited and with her talent she gets quite tanky Firewhistle, only defender for my niche, but even outside of it, her skills kill so easily swarms and are like blue poison dot quite effectiv Astgenne, welfare and almost the same as passenger for it's base things (we ignore passenger signature skill) Bibeak gives spamy stuns in a lord guard range Astesia is a solid defensiv arts guard kafka is acceptible for it's s1, just a bit finniki, as she won't be targeted erato can work with kafka and can stall a bit with sleep I don't have other 5* birds so can't say about them, but from what I saw, they are neat ^^
Is it bad that the only 5 stars on this list that I never considered e2-ing were the top two? (Lappland: Unless if target walks out of range, her silence will have 100% uptime with the right potentials - Liskarm: Not a fan of rng or skills having downsides, once I finally got Lumen I had other operators that could do what she does but better- also Jessica alter is coming, and Jessica's the only character I truly like story-wise, so...) Also as others mentioned I'm surprised that Shamare or even Elysium were not listed- and, I guess Amiya as well?
Should really consider then building April (got her only a few weeks ago first Time, i play since May 2022 but i have Platinum and BP at E2 Level 50 both) and Shamare. Have Firewatch but i dont think i build since her since i have a few other Snipers build, same for Specter since i have Blaze and Gavial Alter at E2 (though she is E1 Level 60 since it took me a few Months to get Blaze myself), Canabille also sits at E1 level 50 (got Ines at E2 Level 70).. All the other 5 stars mentioned in the Video are already at E2 plus their Modules unlocked at Level 2 at least 🤔
Don't bother with April, she's too niche, if you have BP and Platinum developed, you're good, especially if you have Exusiai or Archetto too. I've been playing for 3+ years, have never seen April used, nor have I used her myself.
best 5 star in my opinion is lappland for guard. she's good in overall story content, but specter is better in high end content. warfarin for healer, texas for vanguard, for defender i'd say liskarm is good but i don't recomend newbie to build her cause the 4 star defender is better and cheaper in my opinion. Kroos alter for sniper, leonhart for caster, shamare for supporter and projekt red for specialist
the only problem is the game knows how good lappland is so they have been designing enemies to skirt around her. Just like they made levels to make Ifrit super niche
Hmm...this list is...specific Too much 5* operators is good for building. Some best in endgame, some good for newbie, some good overall. For me good 5* in each class are: Casters - Beeswax(survive), Rockrock, Leonhardt great DPS Guards - La Pluma, Lappland(silence), Specter(survive), Tequila(good subclass), alter Noir Corne(parry power) Medics - Ptilopsis(sp), Warfarin(buff), Honeyberry/Mulberry and for situational healing - Silence and Whisperain Snipers - BP(very high dps), alter Kroos(cc), Platinum(s2) - her range and DPH too strong Specialist - Robin , Manticore, Kazemaru. Other good too but we have so strong 4* and 6* alter Texas/Yato..so 5* specialists are situational. Supporters - gigachad Shamare(too strong for endgame) and Quercus(she is really good like sp battery and healer). Scene/Mayer is good. Other are situational. Defender - Liskarm(for sp regen), Firewhistle(smol Horn), Nearl/Heavyrain...otherwise 4* is enough..and better build 6* Saria. Vanguards - Blacknight, Cantabile(high dp regeneration and fast redeployment), Elysium(flagpipe team da best+buff for snipers+s2 good vs invisibility enemies)..But u can use Texas/Zima as well.
Video about 5* characters, so operators in this list are good enough in my opinion. I use them often, giving them priority even higher then 6*. When we gonna talk about 6* - then list been with only 6* ops. People can build any characters what they love, it's only about resources.@@kyarumomochi5146
agree on how *5 st sniper is equal, and how i built all of em lol get goes damage i go for bp and april (when s2 active), proly bp for daily use (normal stage, is) plati chan s2 take time but when its up it just goes bonker, kroos alter just for is3, truly lifesaver and yes i have texas and bp in my staple squad !
I'll start by saying that I agree with all of it, exept Texas, but all of the rest make sense, tho I wouldn't compare april to the other marksman sniper as she fill a completely different role, also justice for Graythroat! She's also on the same level as Krooster BP and Plat D: As for why I disagree with Texas being in the top 10, you say that she can block 2 enemies and deal with early game enemies, but from experience she's made of papper, she die so fast any DP she print have to be used in emergency to save her ass, wich is no different from a flagbearerat this point, and flagbearers can generate DP faster, and I say that as a flagbearer hater. IMO Texas is the worst pioneer, I mean you just have to look at how most peoples use her, place down, activate skill, retreat, no actual usage of her being a 2block. And I don't say that in the sense she suck and you shouldn't use her, I think she's still pretty ok, just that there IMO a bunch of 5star of ops that deserve her place in the top10 more than she does, out of the top of my head, Project Red, Bibeak, Scene (tho maybe a bit harder to use), Tequila, Shamare, if you want another Vanguard I think Blacknight or Poncirus are better alternativ nowaday, there's also an argument to be made for the Berries considering they trivialize events that rely on elemental damage tho it would be a bit too many medics, and from personal experience Firewisle, Rockrock and Kazemaru are powerhouses in their own right. Btw I'm surprised to see Firewatch mentioned tho, she used to be an operator a lots of peoples slept on at launch.
I agree, but I will say at module level she's quite good, 536 attack, 2x1000 arts 2~3 second stun. but I often bring her with Myrtle for rush mops and that easy 9DP as opposed to Elysium or Cantabile.
Yea, Nearl is so good. I already have Saria and try to use her multiple times, I don't know what I did wrong but Saria healing feel sucks compare to Nearl, so yeah Nearl is still my primary defender healer. Maybe I need a module for Saria.
@@nabilfikri4165 first skill Saria and Nearl is equal(restore HP by 180% of ATK, on M3). Nearl talent increse healing effect, Saria haven't talent like this, it very important! This can be reason why Nearl make more healing. I have full promoted Saria and Nearl. Saria(90Lvl) have 535 ATK without module, Nearl(80Lvl) have 502 ATK without module. Of code modules add ATK and heal effect. Saria second skill restore HP by 140% of ATK, but do if for ALL operators in bigger range, it can be better when group operators have damage at same time, for heal all, but first skill better for heal one character. Also, Saria restore SP when heal(+1 SP without module and +2 SP with L2 first module).
factoring in replacability by better 6 stars my list is, in a few categories: simply better than the 6 star options: ptilo, shamare, warf, specter(maybe not better, but synergizes with 6stars, so cant be replaced) have a niche, outside of which they are kinda underwhelming: lapp, liskarm competetiv enough to 6stars to be worth building: texas, cantabile, nearl texas early start abilities are just nice, cantabile produces similar amounts of DP to ines while being cheaper to deploy, nearl can replace S1 saria in 95% of the cases. honorable mentions: module quercus has some insane hps while being cheap to deploy, bibeak S1 has a substantially higher consistent dps than for example thorns, elysium bears a flag.
do you think saria is a bad operator? saria S2 is comfy, but it only offers enough healing if there isnt really noticable amounts of damage incoming. Her S3 is pretty niche and only used in tryhard clears where you more or less need to know exactly which enemy spawns when and where. S1 is her best skill. and as mentioned above: nearl can almost always replace her. In fact ive yet to come across an Easy/afk guide using Saria S1, where i wasnt able to use nearl instead. for example risk 600 POO or max difficulty Trials for Navigator in the Mudrock/Manfred/steamknight stage. heck Nearl S1 + 1 other medic heals more than Saria S1 + 1 other medic, since nearl buffs healing overall.
For those who enjoy IS3, Tequila is definitely worth building. He's one of the best picks in that mode even at D15, and in fact he's so good that it's sometimes reasonable to skip Mlynar and draft Tequila at 7 Hope (Mlynar is still better than Tequila of course, we're comparing a 6* vs a 5*, but Tequila is more Hope-efficient). He provides about as much damage as Specter but has a flexible skill that can last up to 30 seconds, or however long YOU want it to last.

If you like IS3, consider building Highmore. La Pluma would generally be better in most content, but in IS3, Highmore is just so much better. I'd add Firelight as well. As someone who doesn't have Horn, she's a decent alternative. Liezi isn't really beginner friendly, but she outputs a lot of damage when used in a no-block strategy. Elysium is better than Myrtle in a longer battle. I haven't built Shamare, so I don't know how good she is. Nearl Defender, she's simple but still works well. Provisio, Nine-Colored Deer have been good builds as well just for their base skill.
@@Murmur_65 nah la pluma sure has better numbers but we are talking about is3 here. You ain't dmging anyone if Nervous Impairment exist. Especially if you are someone who cant be healed. Unless you bring eyjalter to heal her which defeats the purpose of bringing a reaper guard in is3 in the first place.
If we're talking about general content, this list is good enough for beginners. However, this list lacks the operator that are super effective in advanced content. Operators like Elysiun, whom you can pair w/ Myrtle in stages that requires immediate DP while also providing strong utility across, and Shamare which basically acts as a global defense debuffer.

Other good 5*s that doesn't make it to the list: 1. Amiya 2. Nearl/Bassline 3. Elysium 4. Puzzle 5. Quercus 6. RockRock 7. Shamare 8. Honeyberry (F2P friendly Wandering Medic) 9. Whisperain 10. Scene (If you don't have any ops that can reveal enemies)
You missed Elysium, easily in the top 3. Shamare, one of the best break Def (maybe the better? I don't remember well) and the best break Atk of the game, with a really good uptime. Amiya guard is reallyyyy strong too, and free. One wandering medic is missing. According to the current event style, we see elemental damage really really often and we need to deal with them. So don't having a wandering medic is a really bad idea today 😅 Ashlock s2 is strong too. She can be a suitable replacement for a Horn s3. Nearl, can easily replace a Saria s1, and provide a better heal once e2 for every Medics you have. Manticore s1+module is a good honorable mention. She is strong in reclamation algorithm for stable afk base defense (and even used against Red at high risk in the last CC).
Bruh why most of the best 5* aren’t here: Shamare, Elysium, Tequila (I know that he is very odd but DPS is crazy good), Asbestos being cool tanky aoe arts dealer with massive range, Nearl being alright in terms of ok stats and having the ability to increase all healing altogether, Kroos alter basically being budget Exusiai, Kazemaru being a DPS unit with sort of nice survivability, Meteorite being the best physical aoe option for 5*, Akafuyu being the only adequate 5* duelling units and so on so forth. This vid feels like it was taken 2 years ago, except there are some modern 5*. Yes with some positions I do agree but for example Lappland is immensely niche because of questionable skills and silence mechanic being massively dogged on by developers, Texas being even on this list is such a stretch that it's hilarious 😅
Texas/Zima can cover for Vanguard, you never need a 6*. Akafuyu is... meh, she's worse Hellagur, and he's one of the worst 6*s, especially when you consider they're Guards which are stacked in 6*s and 5*s too. Then they're Enmity guards, and if there's no steady influx of enemies they might die easily to poison, or ranged units, plus they're Block-1, so they're not good as Lane Holders either. Now with Eyjalter being there, they might be slightly better, but still... I'm not sure Akafuyu can even compare to either of the Reapers, when it comes to being a lane holder. Shamare is amazing (especially for newer players), Elysium (worse Myrtle, but when you need fast DP, especially if you don't have Bagpipe, he's amazing, so yeah... he still stays top), Tequila (a monster DPS wise, I've never used him since I've got SilverAsh early, but still... amazing DPS potential, I think him and Executor are two highest 5*s in that regard). Nearl is amazing, especially since she comes with great Arts resistance, she's carried me through IS3, and quite often, you don't really need Saria, and can use Nearl instead. Asbestos is generally worse than Shalem, and both are... meh options, you're better developing SP battery (Liskarm), Nearl and/or pure Defender (Croissant or even Cuora), or even Specter since main thing you need from Defenders is to block 3 enemies lol. Kroos is budgest Exusiai, but I'd sooner go for Platinum than Kroos or BP, since Platinum has range and arts damage, and she can outDPS even Exusiai, when high Def enemies are involved, while other ST snipers become useless. Meteorite... I like concept of, but in reality, doesn't do what I need Sniper to do, hit aerial targets, she does, but it's nor priority, and Shirayuki might be better option than Meteorite, since she also has Slow as CC option, plus useful in IS. Your No.1 pick is spicy to say the least. That said we need to take a moment to wonder why are 5* just so mediocre? The recent good ones were Cantabile, Kazemaru and La Pluma...
Cuz 5* are mostly experimental, so there will be alot of hit and miss. The 4* are the basic and the 6* are the refined, thats why there are rarely bad 6* and 4*
5 star is really overshadowed by 6 star because it has 2 talent and 3rd skill and 4 star is much cheaper to build. 4 star being cheap and underwhelming while the 6 star are expensive and strong. While 5 star are in between being expensive and underwhelming with some exceptions.
Lappy, La Pluma, Cantablie and Tea apple sauce are some of my fav units and almost always in my squads. Also would like more of these videos and tier list.
What's your definition of a good 5* anyway? Because i've seen some other ops after Canta that's also good, but not meta enough in their rarity. Few examples are Insider, Leto, Firewhistle, Rathalos S Noir, and Bassline
Texas is easily replaceable with Zima, sure S2 is better tool, but it also generates less DP, and isn't Auto skill. But I agree that Texas is slightly better (even tho I always use Zima, since I prefer auto skills lol). Choosing April over Platinum, which can outdamage Exusiai when faced with High Def enemies is ridiculous. Due to arts damage, and Range she can stay while others become irrelevant. Then there are BP and Kroos too. April is a niche, which is her only quality basically... Firewatch is meh... while she has wider ranged, and invisibility, DPS is lower than ST Snipers, her attack speed is low, her DP cost too high, and she's kinda too niche too develop. She's good when you do could use her, but 99.9% of the time, you don't. My top 5*s (not 10 because I'm too lazy, not order either, lol) Texas/Zima, Ptilo, Lappland, Specter (if I had to pick top 5* it would probably be between Specter and Lappland, but I'd probably go with Lappland, which I regularly use, especially in IS runs, I never use Specter anymore, tho her immortality is unique, there are others which can "survive", so...), Platinum/BP/Kroos (Platinum's arts damage and range make her stay relevant later on too, even if you get both Exusiai and Archetto (not counting Ash, for reasons...)), Nearl (people seriously underestimate her, she also shines in IS, sure what you need the most from her, could probably be filled in by 4* counterparts, it's also not like in case of Manticore or Projekt Red, where 4*s are maybe even better options (shout out to Kafka which can be used undeveloped lol), but still... one of the few 5*s I regularly use, even tho I have Saria and Blemishine, Saria is my main go to ofc), Amiya (good boss killer, great as caster (and as Guard) I'd argue she's even better than most 6* Casters (only her and Absinthe are really decent 5* Casters) and you need to E2 her anyway, sure after you get Eyja/GG you might never use her or Absinthe, but still...), Warfarin, Liskarm, Elysium (sure Myrtle is better, especially since she costs less, and easier to max out, but still... there are times when you'll need both, and when you do... he's better than Saileach basically (and easier to max out pots)), Shamare (great debuffer, which is quite important for newer players), La Pluma (great lineholder for the most part, becomes problematic where there's no influx of melee ground enemies tho), Tequilla (massive damage potential, definitely worth developing if you don't have SilverAsh or Mylnar), Berries (either is good, when you need someone to help with Elemental Damage, so they should definitely be developed, they also have massive range, so that can be great too, I mean sure... you can always just borrow them or Eyja, but still...), Cantabile, Excutor (amazing damage potential, I've never liked use him due to short range tho, but when you need a boss killer, he can certainly help).
My top 10 won't have liskarm, april and (arguably) firewatch. I'd replace those with either kroos alter, elysium, platinum. Honeyberry and April should just be honorable mention. Liskarm doesn't worth the spot, because her sp battery is too situational, rarely would you find that impactful. Firewatch is nice for bursting. I can't decide how important is her big damage vs platinum extra range that let you cheese some map. Lapp is, and has always been, the top 5*.
April isn't really that good in practice. Like most range units, she would always prioritizes moving enemies over the ones standing still, and if they're both moving she'll attack the one closest to your base. And usually the enemy standing still is the one you want to get rid of. In most cases I would much prefer a stationary sniper with good dps. Like Kroos alter or Insider for example, both are free. In that example you show, there's no range enemy near April, so the camoufage isn't needed lol. And Firewatch?!?? You really like camouflage/invisibility huh?

No Elysium , Mulberry/Honeyberry , Project Red ? Those operators way more value than Lapluma , April ....etc . Still a solid list because of Lappland and Texas , I might said each account need to build them because the way how the game work now .
Whatchu talkin about? FW is better than Lunacub, and i'm only referring about their damage. Yea sure Lunacub has perma camo n all but she deals NO damage cuz her best skill only increased her aspd, and the moment an enemy with mid def shows up she's pretty much fucked. Firewatch has a better talent, higher damage, and far better skill. Don't cry just cuz ur niche op lost against another niche op

Ely can easily be replaced by Myrtle, who's easier to get, and cheaper to deploy, especialy since you'll get her max pot earlier as well, and I say that as someone who don't use flagbearer anymore cause I think peoples vastly overate them.

All the others operator mentioned at least have something unique going on, that's why I have no issue having april in there over any of the 5 others marksman sniper who all are pretty much interchangeables.
But yeah, you're right, Ely does have his unique thing too, I just personaly don't use him despise having him built on 2 accounts, but I just don't use Flagbearers so I might just undervalue him idk.

Personal favorite of mine is Kazemaru, she’s a very versatile dollkeeper, has some really high phys damage with her S2, and just pops back after dying. She’s my go-to starter unit in IS3

Should say for specter you have to take into account that you can get gladiia and a therapist healer for free from the permanent events. Gladiia’s module gives 30% max damage reduction to all abyssal hunter units. The therapist unit can also just remove stun on allies
Tbh default specter is great, but if you're not a niche player, then spalter is just better for general content due to her undying abilities (aka her trait) and SP regen to abyssal hunters.
Also, you know the stun on specter's 2nd skill is there to prevent her from dying, right? Like, I don't want my therapist medic to remove her stun is she has only one health left and the enemy that was attacking her is still alive.

@@2265Hello Spalter is a bad example anyway*, and Gladia is a double synegy, -30% damage AND +3.5% heal, for self heal rivaling Mountain M2, [5.5"+30%"**] freeing up skill 1 or S2+Lumen, in any case Specter is a true Centurion so she dosn't have role split between skills like her alter.
*Spalter is limited which is to say she only can be pulled once a year and you should expect to spend 300 pulls, i.e. 180K to get her. It took a year to get my account to the point I'm just saving for specials like her, though in all fairness I got Spalter/Skalter on a free 10 pull.

Because damage reduction works against physical AND Arts Damage, in most cases it's the same as healing+hp up, against special damage, such as true she loses to mountain by 32/hps or 14/hps at pot 4.
The fact that most of them are from year 1 speaks a lot. Whenever a new banner gets me hyped nowadays it's always because of the cracked top units they rate up so it's like this rarity has become almost worthless unfortunately given that it has a lot of my fav ops

Whisperain's consistently powerful healing, wide range and free status resistance sold me on her. She's really dependable either in afk strats or babysitting melee ops against bosses so I had her as my main medic for a long time
the issue whisperain runs into is that both lumen and ejya alter exist and lumen being free really makes whisper a lot less important@@Osama.0409

Yessss. April is so underrated. I actually regularly go to her as a support unit because of the camouflage. I have firewatch built but you can't really helidrop her. As other comments mention, Shamare and Elysium are probably two important units that are missing. Some of my personal favourite 5 stars that aren't here are Kazemaru (great laneholding and starter unit), Tequila (really good burst DPS if you're lacking that), Firewhistle/Ashlock (Fortress are so underrated and both 5-star units are pretty good at crowd control). I'd remove Texas, Lappland, Spectre, and Liskarm from this list-they're kinda niche units that are alright for general gameplay
Texas/Zima are great options for Vanguards, especially for early players, I still use Zima at times despite having all 6* Vanguards (Siege, Flametail, Bagpipe, Saileach, Ines, Mule all E2'd (didn't bother with Saga and Vigil)), basically if I need Vanguard and there's no influx of enemies I use Zima, if there's influx of enemies I use Siege, if I need fast DP I'll use Zima or really fast DP, then Myrtle.
Lappland is the best Silence option in the game, even without that aerial damage, great skills, fast cycling, good uptime, she's great in IS too. So yeah... while she's Niche, she's the "only" option for the niche too, since other operators aren't as good at it, or need to have skills up for Silence to be active, which isn't pracitcal.
Specter is unique for her immortality, which is important for players that don't have access to 6*s which can survive things (like Blaze, Horn, Mudrock), and Block-3 and AoE Damage aren't anything to scoff at either.
Liskarm... she's good, but I've never used her, got her too late, so didn't even E2 her yet. lol Her SP recovery is amazing for when you want faster skill cycling, and when you need someone "just to defend" she's the best option, but yeah...
I maxed April just to play her in the game mode where you had to farm, and she is so much fun to play with
IMO, if we're talking about new player, silence could be rated higher than warfarin. I think warfarin's 2nd skill and talent has very limited impact in early game and she requires proper positioning (as you said) if you don't want to waste s2, while silence's aoe healing drone is just insanely good

Sure, I wouldn't put liskarm on here, but she's still decent and her niche is unique enough to warrant people to raise her.
It's a decent tierlist.
I would say Shamare(Morte) is a 7star in disguise. halving enemy atk and def is insanely strong. good list nonetheless.
She is inslasmely strong against enemis who attack from deployable tile, at least on paper.
But she takes slot from an additional DPS/Healer in practrice. She is good, but situational.
If you want versatility let me tell you about kazemaru, low dp cost, covers a wide range, substitute could attack flying enemies, nuke on skill with very high attack buff, can deal arts damage via talent, archetype can sustain a good amount of damage, really strong in integrated strategies and above all, cute maid outfit.
i think all the aa archer mentioned here is not relevant if you compare them with April, yes they have almost the same "power level" as you said but their play style is different. April is fast redeploy ranged invisible assassin while the others are truly a sniper who need to stay in the field, even among all the aa sniper they have different job too.
1. BP is more into attacking multiple enemies and really awesome at it.
2. Platinum have the highest DPH and have more attack range than the other other 5* aa snipers, good against medium armored drone.
3. Kroos alter is good against single enemy with her fast attack speed, multi hit, and critical talent, can become invisible too if needed but people more often use her for her high DPS skill than her invisibility.
4. Insider also a good addition in the group, he have more faster skill cycle than Kroos alter even though he deal less damage than her. easier to use than Kroos alter and allow you to place him more aggressively than the other 5* aa snipers because his ability to lower his taunt level.
5. Greytroath also good, she got overshadowed by Kroos alter because how both of them have similar talent and style focused on critical and multi hitting single enemy but Kroos alter is easier to use. Even though it is like that, Greytroath is probably have the highest DPS to a single unit amongs all the other 5* aa snipers if only her skills is not attack recovery skill.
More details about texas is she is the fastest and cheapest pioneer vanguard to generate dp even more if she is at e2 module 1

Kinda agree with some of them, but I think you can add few like:
• Blue Poison, currently best ranged DoT in-game. She's like the most frequently used 5★ sniper for AFK strat
• Whisperain, best status resistance provider. In the past she was mediocre and overshadowed by Lumen, but her module greatly elevates her usefulness thanks to her auto regen
• Honeyberry, with her low cost elemental dmg heal
Also, special mention to our CEO,
• Amiyeeeeee- her versatility is ridiculous. She mainly acts as nuker, and her form switch allows her to be used as replacement in many strats
BP's DoT is negligible. She is very good ranged DPS Marksman , but her niche is very crowded.
Whisperain is good when you need status reistsnce,
Honeyberry is good when yio have to deal with elemtal damage
But those two are very situational Operators.

BPs DoT is irrelevant, if any of the 5*s Stand out than it's Platinum, first due to her range, she can start damaging enemies earlier, before they walk into range of the others, even kill enemies before they can move, on top of all that, the more DEF enemies have, the more she stands out, and even has higher DPS than Exusiai past certain point. BP's DoT is irrelevant there too.
Whisperain is... shit. I mean... next to Ptilo, Warfarin and Berries you don't need to develop yet another 5* Medic, you're better of going to 4*s like Perfumer/Sussurro so you can have them for IS.
Amyia is underrated, but she's better than most 6* Casters, and works as decent boss killer as both Caster and Guard. Plus you need to E2 her anyway so...

BP with S1M3 is one of the the best AFK Snipers against small enemies. DoT is a niche utility which is very useful when it is relevant. Platinum is equally good, but her windup time is long for come maps .
Whisperain is a Therapist which inherently lmits her usefulness compared to more versatile Medics. But she used to be quite good in her niche until she got power crept by the free 6* Lumen

I'm not going to say I'm agree with this list, especially when Elysium is nowhere to be found 💀. There are also many 5 stars operators who deserve to be on this list like Silence, Shamare... or even Blue Poison/Kroos Glint if we talk about marksman. They are good not just for the beginning of the game, because of how unique they are, and you just put fkin Texas, April and Firewatch on the list.
Cantabile might be good if you don't want to/can't use flagbearer in a map because you want early damage (and 1 block to avoid leaking a first few dogs or something like that) + dp generation. However, she won't sit that high on the list because of one reason : replacement. I know that this is a top 5 stars video but that doesn't change the fact that people are going to get better units for their team. So unless you like Cantabile, investment into her is not worth it once you got Ines (which is a way better option).
Warfarin gotta be one of the operators that I use the most throughout the entire game (surely the most used 5 star) Every single map where I need a medic I just put her in the team. She is used even more than 6 stars healers and she is also the number 1 priority when I choose a medic. Her first skill just heals too much, it has a cheap SP cost, can hold 4 charges at M3, and it's auto-activated. Along with good SP recovery talent (self and teammate) and the module that gives her even more healing, she is literally a walking hospital that could heal a dying operator into completely healthy in a blink of an eye.

Whisperain is my absolute best medic. I've never had problems with healing as long as i deployed her. I'd add lappland too since her burst potential paired with liskarm is deadly.

quite a good video and I used quite a few from that list for my normal team (texas, la pluma, ptilopsie, specter, firewatch, warfarin)
but since my birdniche, it switched even further to 5*, but to other types and I have to say: I love them all
Greythroat is a good sniper who is a archetto, but weaker and still can deal good dmg
Poncirus is a pseudo tank. her s2 is with second use unlimited and with her talent she gets quite tanky
Firewhistle, only defender for my niche, but even outside of it, her skills kill so easily swarms and are like blue poison dot quite effectiv
Astgenne, welfare and almost the same as passenger for it's base things (we ignore passenger signature skill)
Bibeak gives spamy stuns in a lord guard range
Astesia is a solid defensiv arts guard
kafka is acceptible for it's s1, just a bit finniki, as she won't be targeted
erato can work with kafka and can stall a bit with sleep
I don't have other 5* birds so can't say about them, but from what I saw, they are neat ^^

(Lappland: Unless if target walks out of range, her silence will have 100% uptime with the right potentials - Liskarm: Not a fan of rng or skills having downsides, once I finally got Lumen I had other operators that could do what she does but better- also Jessica alter is coming, and Jessica's the only character I truly like story-wise, so...)
Also as others mentioned I'm surprised that Shamare or even Elysium were not listed- and, I guess Amiya as well?
Should really consider then building April (got her only a few weeks ago first Time, i play since May 2022 but i have Platinum and BP at E2 Level 50 both) and Shamare.
Have Firewatch but i dont think i build since her since i have a few other Snipers build, same for Specter since i have Blaze and Gavial Alter at E2 (though she is E1 Level 60 since it took me a few Months to get Blaze myself), Canabille also sits at E1 level 50 (got Ines at E2 Level 70)..
All the other 5 stars mentioned in the Video are already at E2 plus their Modules unlocked at Level 2 at least 🤔
Don't bother with April, she's too niche, if you have BP and Platinum developed, you're good, especially if you have Exusiai or Archetto too.

best 5 star in my opinion is lappland for guard. she's good in overall story content, but specter is better in high end content. warfarin for healer, texas for vanguard, for defender i'd say liskarm is good but i don't recomend newbie to build her cause the 4 star defender is better and cheaper in my opinion. Kroos alter for sniper, leonhart for caster, shamare for supporter and projekt red for specialist
the only problem is the game knows how good lappland is so they have been designing enemies to skirt around her. Just like they made levels to make Ifrit super niche

Too much 5* operators is good for building. Some best in endgame, some good for newbie, some good overall.
For me good 5* in each class are:
Casters - Beeswax(survive), Rockrock, Leonhardt great DPS
Guards - La Pluma, Lappland(silence), Specter(survive), Tequila(good subclass), alter Noir Corne(parry power)
Medics - Ptilopsis(sp), Warfarin(buff), Honeyberry/Mulberry and for situational healing - Silence and Whisperain
Snipers - BP(very high dps), alter Kroos(cc), Platinum(s2) - her range and DPH too strong
Specialist - Robin , Manticore, Kazemaru. Other good too but we have so strong 4* and 6* alter Texas/Yato..so 5* specialists are situational.
Supporters - gigachad Shamare(too strong for endgame) and Quercus(she is really good like sp battery and healer). Scene/Mayer is good. Other are situational.
Defender - Liskarm(for sp regen), Firewhistle(smol Horn), Nearl/Heavyrain...otherwise 4* is enough..and better build 6* Saria.
Vanguards - Blacknight, Cantabile(high dp regeneration and fast redeployment), Elysium(flagpipe team da best+buff for snipers+s2 good vs invisibility enemies)..But u can use Texas/Zima as well.
Video about 5* characters, so operators in this list are good enough in my opinion. I use them often, giving them priority even higher then 6*. When we gonna talk about 6* - then list been with only 6* ops.

I'll start by saying that I agree with all of it, exept Texas, but all of the rest make sense, tho I wouldn't compare april to the other marksman sniper as she fill a completely different role, also justice for Graythroat! She's also on the same level as Krooster BP and Plat D:
As for why I disagree with Texas being in the top 10, you say that she can block 2 enemies and deal with early game enemies, but from experience she's made of papper, she die so fast any DP she print have to be used in emergency to save her ass, wich is no different from a flagbearerat this point, and flagbearers can generate DP faster, and I say that as a flagbearer hater.
IMO Texas is the worst pioneer, I mean you just have to look at how most peoples use her, place down, activate skill, retreat, no actual usage of her being a 2block.
And I don't say that in the sense she suck and you shouldn't use her, I think she's still pretty ok, just that there IMO a bunch of 5star of ops that deserve her place in the top10 more than she does, out of the top of my head, Project Red, Bibeak, Scene (tho maybe a bit harder to use), Tequila, Shamare, if you want another Vanguard I think Blacknight or Poncirus are better alternativ nowaday, there's also an argument to be made for the Berries considering they trivialize events that rely on elemental damage tho it would be a bit too many medics, and from personal experience Firewisle, Rockrock and Kazemaru are powerhouses in their own right.
Btw I'm surprised to see Firewatch mentioned tho, she used to be an operator a lots of peoples slept on at launch.
I agree, but I will say at module level she's quite good, 536 attack, 2x1000 arts 2~3 second stun. but I often bring her with Myrtle for rush mops and that easy 9DP as opposed to Elysium or Cantabile.
I think you missed Nearl. She is realy one of best healing defenfer in game (only Saria better, but Saria 6*).
Yea, Nearl is so good. I already have Saria and try to use her multiple times, I don't know what I did wrong but Saria healing feel sucks compare to Nearl, so yeah Nearl is still my primary defender healer. Maybe I need a module for Saria.

I have full promoted Saria and Nearl. Saria(90Lvl) have 535 ATK without module, Nearl(80Lvl) have 502 ATK without module. Of code modules add ATK and heal effect.
Saria second skill restore HP by 140% of ATK, but do if for ALL operators in bigger range, it can be better when group operators have damage at same time, for heal all, but first skill better for heal one character. Also, Saria restore SP when heal(+1 SP without module and +2 SP with L2 first module).

factoring in replacability by better 6 stars my list is, in a few categories:
simply better than the 6 star options: ptilo, shamare, warf, specter(maybe not better, but synergizes with 6stars, so cant be replaced)
have a niche, outside of which they are kinda underwhelming: lapp, liskarm
competetiv enough to 6stars to be worth building: texas, cantabile, nearl
texas early start abilities are just nice, cantabile produces similar amounts of DP to ines while being cheaper to deploy, nearl can replace S1 saria in 95% of the cases.
honorable mentions: module quercus has some insane hps while being cheap to deploy, bibeak S1 has a substantially higher consistent dps than for example thorns, elysium bears a flag.
I assume you didn't include La pluma because she doesn't have a 6 star to compete with

do you think saria is a bad operator? saria S2 is comfy, but it only offers enough healing if there isnt really noticable amounts of damage incoming. Her S3 is pretty niche and only used in tryhard clears where you more or less need to know exactly which enemy spawns when and where. S1 is her best skill. and as mentioned above: nearl can almost always replace her. In fact ive yet to come across an Easy/afk guide using Saria S1, where i wasnt able to use nearl instead. for example risk 600 POO or max difficulty Trials for Navigator in the Mudrock/Manfred/steamknight stage. heck Nearl S1 + 1 other medic heals more than Saria S1 + 1 other medic, since nearl buffs healing overall.

For those who enjoy IS3, Tequila is definitely worth building. He's one of the best picks in that mode even at D15, and in fact he's so good that it's sometimes reasonable to skip Mlynar and draft Tequila at 7 Hope (Mlynar is still better than Tequila of course, we're comparing a 6* vs a 5*, but Tequila is more Hope-efficient). He provides about as much damage as Specter but has a flexible skill that can last up to 30 seconds, or however long YOU want it to last.

If you like IS3, consider building Highmore. La Pluma would generally be better in most content, but in IS3, Highmore is just so much better.
I'd add Firelight as well. As someone who doesn't have Horn, she's a decent alternative.
Liezi isn't really beginner friendly, but she outputs a lot of damage when used in a no-block strategy.
Elysium is better than Myrtle in a longer battle.
I haven't built Shamare, so I don't know how good she is.
Nearl Defender, she's simple but still works well.
Provisio, Nine-Colored Deer have been good builds as well just for their base skill.

If we're talking about general content, this list is good enough for beginners. However, this list lacks the operator that are super effective in advanced content. Operators like Elysiun, whom you can pair w/ Myrtle in stages that requires immediate DP while also providing strong utility across, and Shamare which basically acts as a global defense debuffer.

You missed Elysium, easily in the top 3.
Shamare, one of the best break Def (maybe the better? I don't remember well) and the best break Atk of the game, with a really good uptime.
Amiya guard is reallyyyy strong too, and free.
One wandering medic is missing. According to the current event style, we see elemental damage really really often and we need to deal with them. So don't having a wandering medic is a really bad idea today 😅
Ashlock s2 is strong too. She can be a suitable replacement for a Horn s3.
Nearl, can easily replace a Saria s1, and provide a better heal once e2 for every Medics you have.
Manticore s1+module is a good honorable mention. She is strong in reclamation algorithm for stable afk base defense (and even used against Red at high risk in the last CC).
Bruh why most of the best 5* aren’t here: Shamare, Elysium, Tequila (I know that he is very odd but DPS is crazy good), Asbestos being cool tanky aoe arts dealer with massive range, Nearl being alright in terms of ok stats and having the ability to increase all healing altogether, Kroos alter basically being budget Exusiai, Kazemaru being a DPS unit with sort of nice survivability, Meteorite being the best physical aoe option for 5*, Akafuyu being the only adequate 5* duelling units and so on so forth. This vid feels like it was taken 2 years ago, except there are some modern 5*. Yes with some positions I do agree but for example Lappland is immensely niche because of questionable skills and silence mechanic being massively dogged on by developers, Texas being even on this list is such a stretch that it's hilarious 😅
Texas/Zima can cover for Vanguard, you never need a 6*.
Akafuyu is... meh, she's worse Hellagur, and he's one of the worst 6*s, especially when you consider they're Guards which are stacked in 6*s and 5*s too. Then they're Enmity guards, and if there's no steady influx of enemies they might die easily to poison, or ranged units, plus they're Block-1, so they're not good as Lane Holders either. Now with Eyjalter being there, they might be slightly better, but still... I'm not sure Akafuyu can even compare to either of the Reapers, when it comes to being a lane holder.
Shamare is amazing (especially for newer players), Elysium (worse Myrtle, but when you need fast DP, especially if you don't have Bagpipe, he's amazing, so yeah... he still stays top), Tequila (a monster DPS wise, I've never used him since I've got SilverAsh early, but still... amazing DPS potential, I think him and Executor are two highest 5*s in that regard).
Nearl is amazing, especially since she comes with great Arts resistance, she's carried me through IS3, and quite often, you don't really need Saria, and can use Nearl instead.
Asbestos is generally worse than Shalem, and both are... meh options, you're better developing SP battery (Liskarm), Nearl and/or pure Defender (Croissant or even Cuora), or even Specter since main thing you need from Defenders is to block 3 enemies lol.
Kroos is budgest Exusiai, but I'd sooner go for Platinum than Kroos or BP, since Platinum has range and arts damage, and she can outDPS even Exusiai, when high Def enemies are involved, while other ST snipers become useless.
Meteorite... I like concept of, but in reality, doesn't do what I need Sniper to do, hit aerial targets, she does, but it's nor priority, and Shirayuki might be better option than Meteorite, since she also has Slow as CC option, plus useful in IS. Additionally... both cost too much DP.

That said we need to take a moment to wonder why are 5* just so mediocre? The recent good ones were Cantabile, Kazemaru and La Pluma...
Cuz 5* are mostly experimental, so there will be alot of hit and miss. The 4* are the basic and the 6* are the refined, thats why there are rarely bad 6* and 4*
5 star is really overshadowed by 6 star because it has 2 talent and 3rd skill and 4 star is much cheaper to build. 4 star being cheap and underwhelming while the 6 star are expensive and strong. While 5 star are in between being expensive and underwhelming with some exceptions.
Lappy, La Pluma, Cantablie and Tea apple sauce are some of my fav units and almost always in my squads. Also would like more of these videos and tier list.

Texas is easily replaceable with Zima, sure S2 is better tool, but it also generates less DP, and isn't Auto skill. But I agree that Texas is slightly better (even tho I always use Zima, since I prefer auto skills lol).
Choosing April over Platinum, which can outdamage Exusiai when faced with High Def enemies is ridiculous. Due to arts damage, and Range she can stay while others become irrelevant. Then there are BP and Kroos too. April is a niche, which is her only quality basically...
Firewatch is meh... while she has wider ranged, and invisibility, DPS is lower than ST Snipers, her attack speed is low, her DP cost too high, and she's kinda too niche too develop. She's good when you do could use her, but 99.9% of the time, you don't.
My top 5*s (not 10 because I'm too lazy, not order either, lol)
Texas/Zima, Ptilo, Lappland, Specter (if I had to pick top 5* it would probably be between Specter and Lappland, but I'd probably go with Lappland, which I regularly use, especially in IS runs, I never use Specter anymore, tho her immortality is unique, there are others which can "survive", so...), Platinum/BP/Kroos (Platinum's arts damage and range make her stay relevant later on too, even if you get both Exusiai and Archetto (not counting Ash, for reasons...)), Nearl (people seriously underestimate her, she also shines in IS, sure what you need the most from her, could probably be filled in by 4* counterparts, it's also not like in case of Manticore or Projekt Red, where 4*s are maybe even better options (shout out to Kafka which can be used undeveloped lol), but still... one of the few 5*s I regularly use, even tho I have Saria and Blemishine, Saria is my main go to ofc), Amiya (good boss killer, great as caster (and as Guard) I'd argue she's even better than most 6* Casters (only her and Absinthe are really decent 5* Casters) and you need to E2 her anyway, sure after you get Eyja/GG you might never use her or Absinthe, but still...), Warfarin, Liskarm, Elysium (sure Myrtle is better, especially since she costs less, and easier to max out, but still... there are times when you'll need both, and when you do... he's better than Saileach basically (and easier to max out pots)), Shamare (great debuffer, which is quite important for newer players), La Pluma (great lineholder for the most part, becomes problematic where there's no influx of melee ground enemies tho), Tequilla (massive damage potential, definitely worth developing if you don't have SilverAsh or Mylnar), Berries (either is good, when you need someone to help with Elemental Damage, so they should definitely be developed, they also have massive range, so that can be great too, I mean sure... you can always just borrow them or Eyja, but still...), Cantabile, Excutor (amazing damage potential, I've never liked use him due to short range tho, but when you need a boss killer, he can certainly help).

April, really? I don't mean that she's bad, but she's rather niche. She's not one of the absolute best 5 stars overall.
My top 10 won't have liskarm, april and (arguably) firewatch.
I'd replace those with either kroos alter, elysium, platinum. Honeyberry and April should just be honorable mention.
Liskarm doesn't worth the spot, because her sp battery is too situational, rarely would you find that impactful.
Firewatch is nice for bursting. I can't decide how important is her big damage vs platinum extra range that let you cheese some map.
Lapp is, and has always been, the top 5*.

April isn't really that good in practice. Like most range units, she would always prioritizes moving enemies over the ones standing still, and if they're both moving she'll attack the one closest to your base. And usually the enemy standing still is the one you want to get rid of. In most cases I would much prefer a stationary sniper with good dps. Like Kroos alter or Insider for example, both are free.
In that example you show, there's no range enemy near April, so the camoufage isn't needed lol.
And Firewatch?!?? You really like camouflage/invisibility huh?
