The funny thing with kashtira unicorn is, that when you search kashtira birth with it, and he starts with high spirits, your able to exactly banish 3 cards on resolve in his grave (the high spirits, the fusion target and the tear name)
@@rogue_to_competitive i mean they get to fuse first if they hit a name off of havnis. Probably not a bad position to be in all things considered though.
New player here: I really appreciate that you explain in detail the chain reactions in your explanations (as you did explaining unicorn). Much appreciated!
Kashtira unicorn hands down the best card in this list. I personally play zombie world but it's just not enough. Good to see the card choices and clear explanations.
Silent Graveyard can work with some free discards that are Quick Effects that can respond to SG itself, and what comes first to mine for me are cards like Rainbow Bridge of Salvation or Cubic Ascension, since they're Trap Cards with an unconditional chainable graveyard effect.
Never heard of Vanity's Call before, but I'm probably gonna get myself a playset. It's the perfect kind of janky trap I like to use in my Altergeist deck, along the likes of Broken Line, to catch people off guard.
@@RrraverCrow You don't need to go above 4 for the card to be good. If the opponent activates 3 cards it's already live and you go 3-for-1 without them getting a chance to respond. However I am aware that the card is jank and as Josh said is not really worth playing. It's just a powerful card to surprise people with just like Broken Line or Witch's Strike. These type of cards are perfect for my Altergeist deck because I only play that at my locals where I would actually just go undefeated every time if I brought my full power Tear deck, because the 2nd best deck there is Dinos. I don't want to ruin everyone's fun when they are playing mostly casually and I certainly wouldn't be having fun stomping everyone even with little thought put into my plays because my deck is so much more powerful. I also don't think this card is good in the mirror at all. If you have your own effects in the chain, you don't want to negate those with Vanity's Call. It also destroys the cards, so you cannot negate Tear cards outside of the GY or you'd trigger them.
The only reason it isn't seeing more play is the hefty LP cost. Against non-Tear decks you also might have to throw a bait card into the chain to hit 3 things with it, or even just to reach CL4. Though if it banished instead of destroying it might still have seen play regardless. Debunk is another neat Counter Trap option that hits hand and GY effects AND banishes what it negates. Sniping a Havnis or Keldo with that can be nasty if you can find the time to set it up.
Kshatri Birth also directly counters Scream. If they ever activate Scream on field, then you can use Birth Trigger effect to banish face down the three cards they just milled.
For some decks earth shattering event isn't bad, although gimmicky. You can activate it and on your opps turn during Dp/Sp you can activate a card that sends something to your grave from desk forcing the shattering thus floodgating your opp for the turn of course there are simply better options to use but if you want to go heavy on the tear hate, it's a side option.
My favorite tech is Archlord Kristya as a Mannequin Cat Target. It’s sort of like Dimension Fortress Weapon as a going first option but it’s more durable
I've been playing 1 unicorn 1 birth in pendulums as an extender for a wile now and it creates an incredibly frustrating scenario vs tear. I think probably the best on the list outside of ddg
Annoying thing about that is that tear has one out for it in engine, and that's using a shuffle effect on field to put back a tear name and pop with planet.
What about Gravekeeper's Trap? If you run Agido, Kelbek and other mill cards then you can quite easily get rid of Exchange of the Spirits or you can just use Silent Graveyard to discard it on the opponent's turn. Mudora and Keldo can quite easily achieve this with their effects as well. Not to mention the fact that if you have access to Gravekeeper's Trap you can effectively lock your opponent out of every tearlament GY effect by discarding either Exchange or Agido/Kelbek to try to mill the Exchange. You could also call a card (usually Harpie's Feather Duster/Lightning Storm) if it was placed faceup by using Mudora to stop most counters to it.
This is probably jank but there's a fun card called penguin knight that when it gets milled, it shuffles your entire grave back into the deck. Saves you from getting milled out, but only under the right circumstances 😅
The unicorn or kashtira engine seems good. Can still use it against floo to bait out thier trap by attacking the barrier statue also banish thier zues and or knightmare Phoenix out to your zombie world and if they didn't use the trap they lost thier barrier statue and you could try some plays which will then bait out the trap. It gives you options honestly against floo. Besides tears it can be used against any other deck to banish thier extra stuff or spells and link climb or be a beater. I like it. The necrovalley once resolved is strong against tear till they find the out but if they have a shuffler in gy and thier field spell they can just chain to return a tear in deck to the. On a separate chain destroy they necrovalley with thier field spell but worse case scenario you use baited the field spell and shuffle in gy so you can not worry bout the field spell going 2nd and less shuffling of cards back into deck to mess with tour gy and you make your tactics live!
In Labrynth I came to the conclusion to play The End of Anubis, it negates effects that activate in the grave, or target in the grave. If i have Labrynth field spell and archfiends glitch, i can destroy one card and special summon my End of anubis right after with the field spell. Also my Level 4 monsters special summon him from my hand if i drew him. I can even discard him. I love him, but against quick effects he does nothing. Like keldo
Anything works if you can get Necrovalley to stick. Lava Golem into Raigeki is probably the least hassle if you don't need a normal summon, but that's still 2 cards and a field you need to go through.
Funny thing is you can't retaliate on schrien. Because the last thing to happen is the schrien mill. That's one of the few situations where you would be able to go cl1 tear name cl2 retaliating. Anyways it being level 6 is awful as usual, because they can beatrice with it. That card needs to get banned.
OCG has Maxx C, D-Fissure and Macrocosmos at 3 and Tearshizu is still the best deck. Unless Konami goes scorched earth on Tearlament and Ishizu cards or release a new hand trap designed to specifically shutdown the graveyard like Abyss Dweller these cards will continue to be oppressive. Konami just really messed up this time for making the Tearlament and Ishizu cards too generic.
Tearlaments and Runick are the only decks I can think of besides Zombies and similar things like Ogdoatics that can't really use Necrovalley at all. Even Witchcrafters can sit on Golem and Smug after simplifying the game state, and Sky Striker can use Linkage to sit on a 2500 and some spells to control the board if they can get an opportunity to set up their graveyard.
Many people told me that earthshattering event and different dimension grounds are bad and slow I kid you not i played these in marincess side deck and I have main deck summoning curse Tearlaments struggle so hard against those nobody believe me I went on win streak in my meta local with those techs
Unicorn also is a WIND, so it can help you out the Barrier Statue in the floo matchup.
The funny thing with kashtira unicorn is, that when you search kashtira birth with it, and he starts with high spirits, your able to exactly banish 3 cards on resolve in his grave (the high spirits, the fusion target and the tear name)
So you could beat high spirits too actually

I think that unicorn is the card out of this list with the most potential. It goes +, its a body into a board. An extender with the spell.
and it works vs flunder too... actually sounds like a really good side deck choice

People in chat breaking down after being told you can still fuse under Transmigration made my day
like, holy fuck. haven't they ever read Reinoheart?
a bad thing about contact C it is also that he is lv6, exactly like bystials
Joshua is 100% playing Pokémon right now.
I love silent Graveyard. Its good going First and even fine going second. I was considering to maindeck the Card
Neko Mane King can be good upcoming format when Dark World becomes a contender. Dark World Dealings makes it that it is not horrible to draw as well
Lol I already got my play set. Hell the dark world fusion will be there worst nightmare going second.

It’s honestly only good in the ishizu-tear mirror. Otherwise it will almost never go above a chain 4

You get that fulfillment feeling when you use silent graveyard, pitch orochi, then chain orochi to the effect.
Necro Valley and end of anubis if a perfect counter
What's your opinion on Chaos Hunter in Ishizu Tear as a Side Deck card?
He literally talks about it in the video

I think in some earth decks, which are not many out there, true king lithosagym the disaster is working like a charm
