I have NO experience but im willing to learn because i heard these shipboard jobs are great opportunities to save cash and travel at the same time.....CAN SOMEONE PLEASE TELL ME HOW I CAN GET A JOB DISHWASHING ON A SHIP WITH ROOM AND BOARD
Galley utility po ang tawag sa mga taga hugas ng pinggan, sila rin po nag lilinis ng galley from ceiling to floor, mga oven, grill at equipments na ginagamit ng mga cooks. Marami pong mga agency na hiring ng ganitong positions. Pwde po mag apply online or walk in basta po may experience kayo ng at least 2 years
I don't know, but I'm pretty sure that your Hobart dishwasher and the potwasher, are capable of doing all the work themselves, there is no real need to wash all the dishes thoroughly by hand first, before loading them in the dishwashers. Those people are making it themselves unnecessary hard at work.
These are the SOP's in the cruiseship. These machines washes and sanitizes the pots and dishes. While the dishwashers scrubs the stuck food/ residue in the pot.
@@langyawtv6746 I didn't mean those pots, I meant the guy at the beginning of the video rinsing off hardly soiled plates and bowls. Even the backsides of those he rinses off. But the pots at the end even didn't look very caked on. Plus, those potwashers are specially designed to wash caked on kitchen utensils sparkling clean, without much pre work. You just remove loose food residue with a scraper and let the rest be washed off by the machine.
Me personally I do it by hand before running it thru because I don't want to re-run the same stuff twice because of a few specks not being on there. One time passes 😁
@@debb789 It depends on the type of your dishwasher! But I'll tell you this, last week the company Hobart came to our work to tell about our new dishwashers we will get soon, to replace the old ones, we never ever need to spray off all the dishes. I told them, that some co workers will not believe this and still will find a way to rinse things off. Hobart said, we will make the machines so, that they will have 2 power prewash zones, an ASR to automatically remove the soil from the prewash zone. Added to this, the machines will be equipped with an auto clean option at the end of the day we will not install a sprayer to prevent ppl to use the machines the wrong way. They must learn, this function is already built into the machine. In my previous post I was referring to the Hobart machine in the video, not your restaurant washer. If your washer does have a pre wash zone, then you theoretically don't need to rinse off dishes. If your dishes will have cooked/caked on residues like scrambled eggs it will possibly not come off at once, but Hobart claims it will in our new machines. But we will see what happens, if it doesn't come out clean the first time, it will definitely come after the second time 😉 It's not the end of the world to rewash things. Hobart only tries to reduce this to a minimum. Even our very old dishwasher in an old building we were in over 10 years ago had an older generation of these same Hobart machines and even those were able to wash most items sparkling clean at once. It was great to work with that machine. I have on purpose advised our managers to go for Hobart again, just because of this feature! And after Hobarts presentation they agreed.
