Hey Dan if you find a tank for the Magna that is rusted on the inside but no dents on the outside, you can do electrolysis to the inside and it will get most of the rust out of the tank.

CakeDestroyerDoku it does take a few days and you have to empty the tank and then refill it again everyday. But it would probably take a less amount of time then being able to find one that is in really good condition. I feel anyway

Lazyman Motovlogs he just has to restart the electrolysis process again. The emptying of the tank just gets all the rust that is off the inside of the tank off and restarting the process will help speed up the process a little more
Eh I found a chemical combo that cleaned my rust out and sealed the tank for around 40 50 bucks. I fully restored an 89 Harley Sportster. Been running great for around 4 years now in Arizona heat. I got it from auto zone, and it came in two bottles. One cleaned, fuckton of rust. And the other bottle was like a silver aluminum looking thing that coated the entire inside.

I had never heard of motovlogging until I ran across your channel even though I've been riding dirt and street bikes for years. Watching your channel really got me into motovlogging and lead me to watch all the other major channels too. I'm also a huge gamer and play similar games like battleground and I sub to you on twitch. You inspired me to start motovlogging so I could show people what it was like while I was living in Italy for 2 years working for the Air Force. Hey Dan, love the videos been watching ya for a few years now, but I wanted to tell ya, that I have a 1982 magna that I put back together, and it had a rusty tank, and I used a $6 bottle of muriatic acid from lowes to clean it out. swished it around in the tank for a few minutes, and neutralized it with baking soda. Cleaned all the rust out and its been 2 years and there is no rust coming back. I do keep it full of fuel though, I dont let it sit empty.
