I got all tense inside and outside AND sideways hearing about your screwover story. I've been similarly screwed by former employers but not with quite the severity. I really hope you get that exspongbobed and off your record. And of course, thank you for the shoutout and supporting the little guys. :-)
No joke guys. WALTERRIFIC is incredibly entertaining. I most certainly put him ahead of myself. It blows me away how he doesn't have more subs than most of us vloggers. I would rate his videos 10/10
To answer your question Maniac, they are not paid shutouts. We stumbled across eachothers channels a few months ago and talked back and forth. I had been meaning to shout him out for a while, and its just coincidence it happened so close.
I know... LOL... Its all about Buying subs or having a sponsor to promote on youtube to make you seem popular and great.... Thats what makes you seem so great......
Awesome! I love people standing up for themselves and their rights!!! We all need to stand up for our rights!!! This is bullshit how our country is failing in the freedom department...
First point. *Never* answer a loaded question! That goes double when speaking to someone on the phone when there's a high likelihood that you are being recorded. Second point. When someone claims to be from HR, but talks like a lawyer simply assume that he's lying and that he's a lawyer. Third point. That's a courtroom tactic that has no place in the real world. Fourth point. Never trust anyone once you're accused of a criminal offence - no matter how trivial. It *will* be brought up in evidence and used against you. You have been lucky, so don't do it again. Next time it might bite you in the ass.
congrats on the charges being dropped. That really sucks that you had to go through all of that. I've gone through b.s. legal troubles myself but the case was dismissed after we got evidence that the people in the car i "hit" two cars in front of me weren't actually injured. It is stressful but im glad to hear the charges were dropped man. Keep up the great videos!
I'm glad you got that settled. At least somebody got some good news on Friday the 13th. I lost my little brother 28 years old last week on the 13th just outside of Zephyrhills Florida from a motorcycle accident while we were riding.
One of my neighbors got arrested for "stealing" a one liter bottle of soda. She was shopping with her kids in CVS and was thirsty and began drinking it before she checked out. They called the cops. I'm still speechless about her story, God knows how many time's I've started drinking a beverage before I checked out, especially if the line's long. She plead guilty and got a fine, because she was threatened about fighting the charges.
That's crazy man. Definitely sounds like they had you talk to a lawyer that first go around to make sure that they had all the right info in "your" words to prosecute. I'm glad to hear that it was dismissed and good luck with the expungement process.
I love Walter! I think it's so cool that you actually shouted him out! He's one of my favorite moto vloggers, well him and you. Ps your videos are so great! And PPs Walters helmet has 2 speakers 2 lights and Legos.
Damn dude you explaining your legal trouble really hits home with me cuz I got let go for giving an HR rep a store discount on my own register with my code because they forgot their discount card, so it came up as me ringing myself up, and was considered theft. I fought this bullshit for 9 months so I got a taste of how managers and HR can be a bunch of shitty fakes.
I had a very similar problem myself. I went to a Walmart and was looking at MP3 players. An associate took one out of the case and handed it to me. They then went to help another customer. When I couldn't find the associate, I went to find another. Because I walked past the point of sale in the electronics department, they called it theft, even though there was absolutely nothing in my pockets (the device was in my hand, in plain sight).
If I were you I would sue the company for slander and all lost wages from the two jobs you lost due to their bullshit. Talk to a lawyer... you could get a huge chunk of cash from those assholes... I'm gonna take a guess that it was a company with initials that would line up with Generic Nut Cup.
That is one of the most fucked up stories I have ever heard of the legal system of the US. Jesus fuck man, I´m sorry you had to go through this. Completely unnecessary bullshit.
+Jeremy J. The worst part is, he was declared innocent. BUT still has it on his record..like how stupid is that. It'd be like me being accused of mass murder, I'm declared innocent, but when companies look to hire me and do background check, it's on my record..That makes zero sense. America is all sorts of fucked.
Not even the legal system really it was more of a job thing and that is really fucked up because I have friends that work at retail stores that actually went through something VERY similar to this and she got the shaft in the end.
He wasn't declared innocent though they just dropped all charges. There is a very big difference. If you were say a mass murder and something fell through before the trail they could drop all charges and bring them back up later if they found something new. If he had went through the entire trail and a jury said innocent then he couldn't be tried again. He also would run the risk of a jury saying hes guilty based if they could be swayed on technicalities.
Gesticulations 4 dayz with that cruise control. I hate higher management. It's some shady shit there. Even where I work things are getting shady. Love the outro. Gave me goosebumps.
The guy that made you agree to that shit was a lawyer. I got a random unmarked envelope in the mail from a city in my state that I hadn't even been to up to that point in the year. Inside was a seat belt ticket for a driver and passenger. All my info was correct for my car and my license but I was never actually pulled over. We went to court, I looked the judge directly in the eye and told him that I've never been pulled over in this city in my life, and the cop started stammering and told the judge that "it's been so long I don't remember", even though it had only been a few months. The case was dismissed of course but it still gets under my skin. I know that feel bro. *BRO HUG* Bro.
Only just watched this video and from personal experience working in a store Dan I would like to say: Certain high up employees at companies who have been given a small amount of power or authority like to throw it around, and in the case of managers, they like to break company rules and try to do things their way, when they get caught doing it their way (the wrong way) they get shouted at and so they take it out on the people under their control, it's happened to me many times but luckily my bosses are spineless and back down at the first sound of me saying "Fine, I'll take this to court" Really glad you got all that stupid shit sorted out though, sucks when idiots get away with shit and good people get the blame
Do It With Dan I've been forced to give a statement that was not in my words in retail, because someone hire up needed to cover their own ass. And it cost me my job. Retail in general is like that. Every retail job I've had, in some way or another management has screwed me because something they told me to do backfired.
I would've sued the manager for fraud. You would be getting money, but if he had kids I wouldn't do it because I wouldn't punish kids for their fathers stupidity.
i dont even have a bike and i somehow stumbled across your video, and im just going to say, ive watched all your new videos plus your old ones and i was watching you while my girlfriend came over and she thinks you are HILARIOUS. great job on the videos!
Find a good lawyer and sue the company for slandering your reputation, if they're as big as you say, bring down the assholes at the regional store and chances are corporate will settle. They cost you two jobs and a promotion by bullying you into a confession, thats perfect grounds for a lawsuit.
Dude, seriously, congratulations on getting that shit taken care of! Legal problems can plague you for your entire life, so I'm glad you were cleared of everything and it's all kosher now! Good luck getting it expunged, I hope that process doesn't take another fucking two years, bro!
Dude I'm glad you watched that video I put on your Facebook page of that guy going between trucks, I know how you feel about being screwed over, my last official job was lost thanks to my asshole manager. Also the store owner, all good now, got a massive payout from an unfair dismissal claim
Dan, you should sue the company for what they put you through. For the time lost and court bills and shit. If the judge relinquished you of any charges then he can attests for the wrongful termination of your job.
Yeah managers, regardless of the job, can be complete idiots from time to time. I guess it revolves around feeling pressured to "do their job right," when in a lot of cases, they never do. Awesome outro btw!
My father had a 1996 Magna 600 in a pearl yellow color. He owned it my whole life but I only got to ride on it once. He mainly kept it in his bedroom and didn't ride it the last 5 years he owned it. I would've loved to ride now that I am older.
wow Dan some pretty crazy stuff. I myself have been in a similar shady situations with shady managers and oh man oh man am I glad i had said no. and it was basically a similar situation a manager wanted me to agree to some shady stuff, sign off on it before i left. and he wouldn't let me go until i signed off on it. I didn't back down however and it got to the point where i told him hey man the District manager told me to call him at whatever time (also closing the store at the moment) and let him know about anything. So i told him i would make the call if he didn't let me go. And yup sure enough the next day when it was all sorted it out, it ended up being his mistake and i would have been in deep shit if i would've signed off on it. anyways awesome videos Dan keep up the awesome work!
I had something similar happen. But at that time i knew the manager had been stealing produce, medicine and alcohol. So i just waited one day in the parking lot, he came out and tossed a big bag in his trunk and i blocked him in and called the cops. Then again, if your working at a grocery store driving a brand new SRT at 19, they shoulda been watching him anyhow.
I'd sue the crap out of the manager and the company. You can probably have a free consultation with a lawyer to see what they'd say odds are of of winning but that sounds they owe recompense. Sometimes all it takes is a lawyer letterhead and a company will settle out of court , and it may need to be arbitrated first depending on how your work contract was written up. Also make sure if you don't have money for it that the legal fees will be paid only if you get something, it'll be harder to find a lawyer that will do that but you really wouldn't want to represent yourself. Its screwed you over many times and they need to be held liable for that.
wait you got arrested for "stealing" two protein bars? that to me seems like something that you would get a slap on the wrist not getting arrested for nothing
I'll be totaly honest, I see alot of motovlogers and such with sportbikes of high cc and it's just so different from what I ride for pasion almost everyday, I have a custom made bobber (entirely by my self) 256cc, since I live in Argentina I'll never be able to afford a good at least, not that powerful sports bike, it's kinda depresing in a way. Also everything is SO expensive it's convinient to do stuff such as paint, repairs, etc, by your self. For a change to see someone like Do It With Dan, a well known chanel and man on these type of bikes is so good to see for once, besides I was already subscribed to the chanel for his style and such, i'ts really cool to see people like these on bikes. It's entertaining and gives me at least so much more confidence and security to keep riding motorbikes. Keep it up you wonderful human being.
This is very typical HR separation story. You come in, then ambushed by corporate HR. The moment the manager asked you guys to do something shady, that's when you need to watch your back and challenge that to whatever "hotline" you have and not follow his/her direction. Glad it worked out for you in the end, but for a lot of people it doesn't and over a $3 protein bar at that.
I say screw it and let it out of the bag who the company was, I personally would never want to purchase product and support a company like that. Company's now a days think their untouchable and treat employees like shit! It's time things change....
Wow kind of sounds like what I am going through minus the legal stuff. I did everything my boss told me to do and still fired me. Now I am looking for a new job but not in a hurry as I have some money saved up to last a bit. Just waiting till I can go back to the same company and screw all the managers over on the surveys that they do all the time. I am a little vindictive
Hey Dan, I have to say, I love cruisers. I recently traded in my Vulcan 900 Custom in for a HD 2016 Breakout, loving the feel of all that power under you.
Just started watching ya vids a month or two ago (was sticking with a few guys I liked coz I'm stubborn or something like that I guess) coz you were getting close to Jake. But I've been watching from your oldest to newest and idk kinda forgot that you're #1 now and yeah. Idk, what I'm tryna say is was nice seeing you grow and everything man. Keep up the great work and stay safe bro
Man you guys are soo lucky in the U.S to not have speed cameras . Here in Australia we have speed cameras & mobile speed cameras everywhere ! It sucks! Cant open up your car or bike anywhere unless you want a nice fine in the mail . Nice video Dan , CHHHEEAAAAAHHHHHHHH!!
you can always go out to N.T if you want to max your car or bike, no speed limits in certain parts but depending on where you live it could be a very long drive.
I like how Mexico does it. You can speed they just put up very large speed bumps that force you to slow down to not hurt your vehicle rather than using extortion
For Walterrific's helmet, To give the gas mask look he uses broken speakers in the front and the spikes on top of his helmet are painted Legos. The tubes are put on to cover the wires for the batteries. He also has toy lights on each side of his helmet. You should check out his video on him explaining it.
That sounds like some crazy counter lawsuit potential right there, to at the very least cover your legal fees, and potentially the damages to your career/lost work as it has cost you jobs for their fuck up.
Man that's fucking sucks I hope you get this 100% settled that manager was a horrible one and I think he deserves what he gets. He pinned everything on you. I hope everything from now on is better for you Dan.
Damn dude that manager was fucked. The place I currently work at pulled some shit like that on this guy and when he said he was gonna fight it legally they flipped shit and got him fired for some arbitrary reason. It's one of the reasons I'm glad I'm getting out of that place soon.
Sorry to hear about your manager screwing you Dan. Wish I could say it's rare but it's not. It happens all the time unfortunately. HR and management throw their employees under the bus all the time. They write the book, they tell the story however they want and they're not afraid to lie. Don't let it get you down, sounds like you've moved on. Good for you!
That's a crazy story about your legal troubles man. In all honesty I would have dumped the job when the manager brought up the idea, either that or tell him you wouldn't do it (where you would then probably be fired). Too shady, but I can see how the plan makes sense.
Expunging your record is a pain in the ass. Being in Pa our law is. You petition the governor, after that you go thru the court system. Average is right around $5,000 minimum to do this here and That's per-charge! The minor things I have would be a waste of money, for at least me any how. Good luck with the whole process Dan. Make sure you do your homework on it. Some states will not let you expunge your record till your in your 70's.
Hey for one of your next videos can you talk to us about the craziest shit thats happened to you in your life, a few stories? I love hearing about stuff like that its always intersting
Sued over a protein bar... damn... Did anything happen to the then manager? I mean, did you sue him for forcing you to agree to something he ordered you to do?
I got all tense inside and outside AND sideways hearing about your screwover story. I've been similarly screwed by former employers but not with quite the severity. I really hope you get that exspongbobed and off your record.
And of course, thank you for the shoutout and supporting the little guys. :-)
Whalter Bhojaa!!!
i love you vids ♥♥♥•◘○♦♣♠☺☻
WALTERRIFIC i LOVE your mcvideos
+WALTERRIFIC Where's my Chipotle mcburrito?!
No joke guys. WALTERRIFIC is incredibly entertaining. I most certainly put him ahead of myself. It blows me away how he doesn't have more subs than most of us vloggers. I would rate his videos 10/10

I've been subed to him for a while and I would say the same he has great videos and also he is funny I would almost compare him to jakethegardensnake
Yeah walter is a beast!
He is growing pretty fast though.
Do It With Dan FUCKK i totally agree!!!

Wow, going to jail over a fricking protein bar... What the hell has our world come to.
Luke mc the system is reminding its sheep to be obedient and never question its authority.
Nothing more irritating than legal issues!!! Had to deal with my own all last year, such a pain in the ass.
Matt black with white stripes! Also change the mirrors to bar-end mirrors.
Keep the black seat!!
I LOVE ur bike. Something about it... Gives a nice vibe 10/10
Especially when you're riding it ;)
That is one of the most fucked up stories I have ever heard of the legal system of the US. Jesus fuck man, I´m sorry you had to go through this.
Completely unnecessary bullshit.
+Jeremy J. The worst part is, he was declared innocent. BUT still has it on his record..like how stupid is that. Love your stuff dude, grats on fighting it
Tech smart watches moto vlogs?
You watch this stuff😂😂?
Michael Read Yeah haha, I'm looking at getting a Motorcycle lol
***** Awh yeah haha thanks man
***** DO IT :D
i would totally sue the companny, the manager and that guy from HR for loss of revenu , diffamation, and purgery.
Gesticulations 4 dayz with that cruise control. I hate higher management. It's some shady shit there. Even where I work things are getting shady. Love the outro. Gave me goosebumps.
I honestly don't mind the bike noise while you vlog
Peter Griffin that sound is so sexy man!
+Peter Griffin Imposter??????
Holy crap, can't believe your up to 50k+ already, been with you since below 10k!! Keep up the good work
That's bullshit that you had to go through all that legal crap.
Only just watched this video and from personal experience working in a store Dan I would like to say:

damn thats nuts, glad to hear its all taken care of man. congrats.
Very nice dude thanks!!! big hug from Atlanta !!!
I knew that company was shady, Now I have a valid reason for never going there ever again.
I would sue the company for costing you those jobs at least.
i dont even have a bike and i somehow stumbled across your video, and im just going to say, ive watched all your new videos plus your old ones and i was watching you while my girlfriend came over and she thinks you are HILARIOUS. great job on the videos!
Thanks buddy! Glad to have non riders watch too
When you floored the bike I went like... FAP FAP FAP... damn that sounds hot
Find a good lawyer and sue the company for slandering your reputation, if they're as big as you say, bring down the assholes at the regional store and chances are corporate will settle. They cost you two jobs and a promotion by bullying you into a confession, thats perfect grounds for a lawsuit.
Congrats, Dan! I'm glad to hear it is all working out for you
Good Shit my man, its great when honesty finally plays to your hand, balls when a shit manager fucks around with you
Dude, seriously, congratulations on getting that shit taken care of! Legal problems can plague you for your entire life, so I'm glad you were cleared of everything and it's all kosher now! Good luck getting it expunged, I hope that process doesn't take another fucking two years, bro!
should sue them for lost wages!
Lost wages lol wrongful termination would be more appropriate
Glad to hear it buddy! Keep doing what you do! OH BILLY!
Dude I'm glad you watched that video I put on your Facebook page of that guy going between trucks, I know how you feel about being screwed over, my last official job was lost thanks to my asshole manager. Also the store owner, all good now, got a massive payout from an unfair dismissal claim

100% the best UA-cam intro to any chaneel/video on the entire site, far out ahaha so good
Congrats dude, Hopefully everything turns out alright for you
That's really shitty, glad the charges were dismissed
You should release the name of the company that screwed you over so we can know not to give them business.
GNC
Everyone, turn on the captions and go to 3:02. Wow, that's funny.
Noah Smith MY GRANDMA IS BEING AN ASS
Do It With Dan How could you say that about your grandma? Haha, nice video and thanks for the reply man!
Noah Smith Yeah, the captions are terrible at interpreting what he's saying. At 2:45 "I think I might pull a mammal...."
st8kout1 They are, but they make for some funny sentences.
Yeah managers, regardless of the job, can be complete idiots from
time to time. I guess it revolves around feeling pressured to "do their

To be fair, there are grips designed to stick for cruise control. Really popular with Harleys. My grandpa had one with a set

I made 100 likes!!! Awesome video! So happy you got the magna back dude!
Dan keep up the hard work. I always look forward to your videos. Thank you for what you do.
Dude that outro was probably the best one ive seen on UA-cam
Hey Dan, I have to say, I love cruisers. I recently traded in my Vulcan 900 Custom in for a HD 2016 Breakout, loving the feel of all that power under you.
Did I get that right, you got arrested for two protein bars? 'MURICA!
Loving the paint idea! Great channel shoutout for sure!
loooove the part at the end, LOVE IT!!!
The Magna may be an old cruiser but it picks up speed pretty well.
Slightly amusing that I started watching your vlogs after Walter recommended ... And yet here you are doing the same
For Walterrific's helmet, To give the gas mask look he uses broken speakers in the front and the spikes on top of his helmet are painted Legos. The tubes are put on to cover the wires for the batteries. He also has toy lights on each side of his helmet. You should check out his video on him explaining it.
I would be so pissed about it because it isn't fair to do that. I'm glad that you were dismissed and are being expunged.
That sounds like some crazy counter lawsuit potential right there, to at the very least cover your legal fees, and potentially the damages to your career/lost work as it has cost you jobs for their fuck up.
KC Motovlogger's part in your intro is too funny!
So glad to hear that your battle is finally over dan!
Man that's fucking sucks I hope you get this 100% settled that manager was a horrible one and I think he deserves what he gets. He pinned everything on you. I hope everything from now on is better for you Dan.
I saw WALTERRIFIC a while back his videos are great & that helmet is insanely cool too!
I'd sue the hell outta those guys. Talk about mental anguish right thar.
Damn dude that manager was fucked. The place I currently work at pulled some shit like that on this guy and when he said he was gonna fight it legally they flipped shit and got him fired for some arbitrary reason. It's one of the reasons I'm glad I'm getting out of that place soon.
That bike sounds so badass! Glad your legal issues are all sorted, there is no way you deserved all of that bullshit
I love how he talks about being fired from a GNC for stealing protein bars like it's such a huge scandal.
Well, he got arrested for it. So there is that
Glad that shit's behind you dude. Here's to moving forward!!
This sounds so much better than your standard v twin.
That's because it's a DOUBLE Vtwin :)
If it's costing him jobs, it sounds like it's worth the money in my opinion.
Impractic4l for him Yes. But still Needs to do some home work.
You shouldn't make any large decision without all the information, but on its face, sounds like a good idea.
Hey for one of your next videos can you talk to us about the craziest shit thats happened to you in your life, a few stories? I love hearing about stuff like that its always intersting
Love the Honda Magna and the content.
Stay safe and safe riding Dan the man.
If you hadn't went to court yet so you weren't proven guilty how come you didn't get the promotion?
UNHHHH that sound. Makes me want to sell my Softail for a Magna.
As soon as I subbed to Walter all of the sudden tons of motovloggers give him a shoutout. Do I get an award now?
Bro that's really messed up what happened to u at work love your videos man.
Good for you! Good luck with the expungement!
Sued over a protein bar... damn... Did anything happen to the then manager? I mean, did you sue him for forcing you to agree to something he ordered you to do?
Oooh goodness if I was in that situation I would have a field day.... haha
