Epic adventure fella's.....................that was a big circular Fan-Y. Looking forward to the spring and further ''summits or nothings'' Tell Nath I seen that bloke back in the 70's in Middlesbrough and he said he was training for the Andes in south-america.......lol. cheers, Stu.
Did the horse shoe last year on one of the hottest days of the year ,clockwise from Taf Fetchen forest car park doing the peaks to Fan y Big and continued back down the same way you came down ,almost killed me it was so hot, glad i was well prepaired with plenty of water
Rewatching this after doing it myself on the weekend... I got round the 4 peaks without the map in 5 hours, 33 mins walking, whilst taking 3 mates on their 1st go round. Tbf, I'd only done pen y fan in the army but the way is easy to find... Proper chuffed. I'm gonna get my arse back to dartmoor for a tour soon. I've got the bug so bad.
I was just watching my own Fan y big video (as you do) and spotted this one underneath as recommended so had to watch.. you got there for the day of flying ants lol Out of the four peaks there I prefer Fan y big as there are less people usually
