I use green for hunting and strobing multicolor for practice. Green is the most visible color for the human eye that’s the reason safety vests are green and multicolor for practice because that way I don’t confuse them with my sight pins on low light situations.
For me personally I don’t shoot the color of nocks that my pins for. My floater pin is green so I shoot red or blue. When I shoot green my groups blow up from 3-6 inch to 8-10 ish. It’s harder to aim small. But you would be able to practice with one color and hunt with green which is the brightest
It has been suggested that I should start taking BPC - 157 for various injuries that has slowed me down. I was not looking for the BPC - 157 when I watched this video but excited to see you mention it. still researching it. Thanks for what you do.
Ive tried 2 packs of halos and they were both significantly dimmer than the red or green nokturnals i normally shoot. The nocturnals also seem to have a much longer battery. They are a pain to turn on and off though
Color is always a discussion concerning lighted nocks. May gut reaction is Green. That being said, I've never shot Halo before. I'm curious and following on this one.
I have only used nockturnal and halo. I have tried reds, green and pink. Halo is built better but nock fit on the serving isn’t as good. Nocturnal are bit weaker so I always have fresh nocks on my hunting arrows when running them. I have found green is the brightest!
I didn't see any of them until the last round. Deer supposedly see blue so even though I like that color it rules it out for me same for green. I use red so that's what I recommend because it's easier to see for us and less easy to see for deer. Also deer see movement way faster than us so like I said blues and greens they pick up along with them being hyper sensitive to movement. I seen one study that said if we move in slow motion while a deer is looking at us, and then we are the deer watching ourselves it would look like we were moving at regular speeds. They also have hyper sensitive hearing and can hear the arrow in flight and in my opinion they can sometimes see the arrow on its way and that is why they duck arrows SO OFTEN
Wassup Brother. I subbed to the Podcast channel when you did the training for the MURPH prep video. Which is brutal, I might add. To your question, "Green, Blue, or Red?" For your needs, more camera friendly being high priority, the red showed up just a tad better on your cameras than the blue. So either would be good. The blue is hard to pick up unless you're using a strobing nock. I personally use green or the green/blue strobing Nockturnals. Depends on when, where, and the weather conditions I'm hunting in.
i done stem cell in my back and to be honest it didnt work for me i want to try peptide but VA doesnt cover that so probably wont happen. orange is what i use in oklahoma and texas but since you dont have it i would use red. why not use snake gaiters instead of those bulky boots ?
Middle of the day shooting I honestly couldn't see a difference at all. 3 hours later shooting I'd say the red was the brightest, then green. Blue was definitely the least bright.
Yo Dan- Sam here- TB500 and BPC-157 and then some PRP injections. You will speed up your healing immensely. But maybe we should gimping a bit so we can try to keep up in the mountains. OH yeah--- And sauna- Sauna will allow your body to keep muscle during healing. HeatPraxia reopens soon. Ill have ya in again soon!
Dan, are you glueing in nocks? All was good with my arrows all year and on the mountain my nocks were coming out of the shaft after removing an arrow from being nocked.
Fack i need a mathews set up like yours i would just stare at it alllllll the time whenever im not shooting it or tinkering with it , it would be beside my tv so i can watch elkshape and stare at my bow !!!
I see the green better than any other color
TB 500 and BPC 157
A bear rug would be sweet 👀
I love the blues, I find them so much easier to see being color blind
The pink are the brightest
I used the pink ones this year very bright easy to see in low light
I use green for hunting and strobing multicolor for practice. Green is the most visible color for the human eye that’s the reason safety vests are green and multicolor for practice because that way I don’t confuse them with my sight pins on low light situations.
Have to do Blue it’s the only color not natural in natural foliage so it stands out the best!
I find Red always show up the best.
Green in the daytime and red at dawn/dusk.
Axcel driver I believe is new sight... green nocks are best for my eyes
The green ones, I am really enjoying these vlogs keep doing them
I thought I was going to say green, but that Red POPS! #TeamRed
So helpful as I’m working with an ortho to get these for my knee
I like the green ones
I’m partial to blue. I picked those for my new setup, just looks cool. No other reason.
Green. Always green
During the day outside it’s hard to see the greens in my experience but if you’re in the woods you can see them great even if it’s sunny.
It has been suggested that I should start taking BPC - 157 for various injuries that has slowed me down. I was not looking for the BPC - 157 when I watched this video but excited to see you mention it. still researching it. Thanks for what you do.
Red and green! It’s Christmas you gotta!
Green shows up best for me!
European elk mount on that wall in the podcast room would look sweet!
Ive tried 2 packs of halos and they were both significantly dimmer than the red or green nokturnals i normally shoot. The nocturnals also seem to have a much longer battery. They are a pain to turn on and off though
I would personally go with the red or green.
Color is always a discussion concerning lighted nocks. May gut reaction is Green. That being said, I've never shot Halo before. I'm curious and following on this one.
Red has been my favorite color especially if you shoot something earlier on in the season and the grass or crops are still green.
I have only used nockturnal and halo. I have tried reds, green and pink. Halo is built better but nock fit on the serving isn’t as good. Nocturnal are bit weaker so I always have fresh nocks on my hunting arrows when running them. I have found green is the brightest!
I would do blue I'm from texas and the green and red blend in really well so I found blue to be the best to use
Red!! Shows up great on camera
i like the greens. i can usually find those easier than any other color
Cam Hanes did it in Texas this year.
TB-500 with BCP-157 is an amazing combination.
I think the greens fly the best
I run the green ones and definitely have not trouble seeing them.
I’d definitely go with red. Blue is cool but harder to see in flight
I didn't see any of them until the last round. Deer supposedly see blue so even though I like that color it rules it out for me same for green. I think the red is definitely the easiest to see on camera for me. but I like the blue haha.
Green or red. During the day it doesn't matter but it's hard to see the blue one anytime. Green is the easiest one to see

Good luck with the recovery.
I've run red and green nocks before. I like the green better. It's easier to see. Same reason we like green fibers in our sights and not reds or blues
Red is my go to
Have you already sold out the clinic for this year?
The new Axcel sight is called the "Driver" I believe.
I think green might be the brightest.
I'm usually a green fan but that red one was light up pretty good
I loved the blue nocturnals but cant find em much anymore in my size use green alot really like them i shoot nocturnals though
When will you be at archery country?
I like green but orange shows up extremely well too even In daylight
Hey bro where do you get that bpc 157 I’ve been curious about it for years.
I like red . Looked like red was brighter . Your my boy dan !
Up to my 4th round of bpc and tb500 and have to say it didn’t help my wrist bugger all. Ulnar ligament and cartilage tare.
Subscribed to the new channel!
I personally shoot the green halo nocks and they are like laser beams flying. I love them
TB-500!
Bpc 157/TB-500 stacked made my shoulder pain all but disappear after about 8 weeks of use
Interesting, thanks for sharing!
i done stem cell in my back and to be honest it didnt work for me i want to try peptide but VA doesnt cover that so probably wont happen. orange is what i use in oklahoma and texas but since you dont have it i would use red. why not use snake gaiters instead of those bulky boots ?
Where did you get your BPC-157? also I would love to know where we can locally in the NW we can get stem cells. I have similar issues in my knees.
Amina USA or something like that...
@@ElkShape Thanks Boss!!!
Use the red or blue easier to see in the field. Pink has been the easiest to find, however you didn’t have those.
Can you add a link or dm on the site where you purchased your bpc157. Thanks
AMINO USA
I would go with green. It seems to be the easiest for me to see.
green stood out the most. mid-day it was hard to see any difference and maybe that was because of the camera. Low light do think green is brightest.
Out of a tree, I love the green. I can track it's full flight and usually see it stuck in the ground. Blue looks really cool on film though 😉
Middle of the day shooting I honestly couldn't see a difference at all. 3 hours later shooting I'd say the red was the brightest, then green. Blue was definitely the least bright.
I think green. Any one know a way to get halo knocks up to Canada with better shipping cost?
Bpc 157 and tb 500 are ok but work best with Testosterone cypionate and deca durabolin.
Um... No.
I always use green, my buddy always uses red. We never use blue, because neither of us can see that color well.
Red will stand out the best! When everything around you is green green Nock’s would just blend in.
Personally my eye tracks the red in low light better. Day light all seem equal
Copy that!
Thanks for the vlog
Green has the most burst to it.
Yo Dan- Sam here- TB500 and BPC-157 and then some PRP injections. You will speed up your healing immensely. But maybe we should gimping a bit so we can try to keep up in the mountains. Green for the win!
Dan, are you glueing in nocks? All was good with my arrows all year and on the mountain my nocks were coming out of the shaft after removing an arrow from being nocked.
Green for sure!
I go with an orange glow cause it matches my fletching and string haha
But between those three, I’d pick blue.
Green will always show up better in low light.
100% red shows up the best blues also not bad
green nock has my vote
Green
I run green Halos. Green or red show up next on camera
Most people see green better than other colors.
Red or green. Similar to PEAX. I guess it’s whatever your personal eyes see better.
Seems like green shows the best.
hear me out. elk immersion but for white tail in tennessee
Fire nock with red blue green strobe? Best of all worlds except weight
Done I’m subscribed the newbie from NY!
Fack i need a mathews set up like yours i would just stare at it alllllll the time whenever im not shooting it or tinkering with it , it would be beside my tv so i can watch elkshape and stare at my bow !!!
Where’d doozie go ? I’d go green. Need some euro mounts in there 👍
Red for sure
The pink are the best by far. Color blind guy here though.
No debate, you use what ever color you like
Vlog keep it going. Go Green
Thanks! Will do!
Way2well in Texas.
Green! 🤙🏽
Green!
want to see more beast broadhead kills. 2.3”
You always have better odds of blowing out the hole with a big bore shaft 😉
Whitetails see blue better than any color I'd go green on whitetails
Red!
