Here are the Workouts to Try Out!
The Demonstrations for the Exercises are in PART 2. Be sure to Check it out as well!
    Outer Chest Workout
    1. Incline Barbell Presses - 5 x 10,8,8,6,6
    2. Flat Dumbbell Flyes - 4 x 4,3,3,2 TRIFECTAS* (14:54)
You will do these relatively HEAVY - You can not get big by moving tiny weights (Eat the FOOD and Lift the WEIGHTS!!)
    3. Dumbbell Pullovers - 3 x 12 (18:52)
    Super-Set with Parallel Bar Dips - 3 x Failure
(Do as many as you can until you fail. If you suck and cant get very many, use the assisted dip machine and get at least 10 each set. IF your shoulders are shit and dips hurt your shoulders DO pushups until failure. The Goal is to fuck you up here. You have to push yourself to failure and find out how far you can go. This is why it is important to be Hydrated and Fueled for your workout.
    4. Flat Bench Press / Machine Press - 3 x 6,5,4 TRIFECTAS* OR 3 x 15,12, 10 (23:28)
    Good Clean Reps
    5. Pec Deck or Cable Crossovers - 3 x 12 (27:50)
Good Clean Reps OR 3 x 6,5,4 TRIFECTAS*
On Exercises 4 and 5 - You can change the technique used to suit what you want to do. Either the straight sets with Good Clean Reps or the TRIFECTAS
    Upper Chest Workout
    1. Incline DB Presses - 5 x 12,10,8,8,6/12 Last Set Seth Set (8:28)
(Do these with the bench angled at a 45 or 37 degree angle)
    2. Incline DB Flyes - 4 x 10,10,8,8/failure (12:27)
Straight sets focus on feeling the muscle work. LAST SET it say 8/failure I want you to do 8 reps of heavy flyes and then using the same weight burnout doing presses - don’t care how many you get just fucking go!
    3. Pec Deck - 3 x 12,12,10
Nice FULL Reps! Feel your chest Working!
    4. Incline Machine Press (Smith or some type of Incline Machine Press) - 3 x 5 TRIFECTAS* (23:28)
    5. DB Pullovers - 3 x 12 (18:52)
Super-Set with Push Ups on Smith Machine** - 3 x 10 reps each height (choose 3 different heights per set)
TRIFECTAS (No I don’t have a better name, this is just what I called them) (16:44)
You will do 2 - 3/4 Reps and 1 Full Rep - that will be counted as 1 REP!
You will not lock out on the 2 - 3/4 distant reps. The goal is to keep tension on the chest. Therefore continuing to push blood only into the chest and not to the other muscle groups you are using during the exercise (Shoulders and Triceps during Chest - we want to maximize the exercise for chest).
** Push ups on the Smith Machine is preferred and a great way to burn yourself out. You are able to change the height of the bar to feel the different ways your chest is getting hit.

I just signed up in UA-cam to write this comment, although I have followed Seth for quite some time now. And I have to tell you, Seth, that you are truly one of the best bodybuilders out there ever. I love your training and motivational content very much. Please, keep up the good an inspirational work. And if I may suggest something, please release more leg training footage. We need to see those tree trunks of yours (pun intended ;) more often. Lots of love from Germany, Brother!!!

Just wanted to say thank you ....I am 55 and have been working out my whole life. I have learned more and have had the best gains in the past 1.5 years I have been following you, than I have had in 20 years... and I have tried everything. I wish you had been around 35 years ago when I started; I would have been in much better shape and had less injuries. Also thank you for being so real, transparent, and honest in a business that is full of smoke and mirrors and tons of bullshit misinformation!!!!!!! you are really making a difference for a lot of people like myself. Thank you my Brother!!!

The pectoralis major is split up horizontaly(upper and lower), so how your inner chest looks is only up to genetics, overall mass on your chest and maybe body fat %

Seth! I’m 23 years old. I’m strong, healthy, and I workout 4-5 days a week. I played football my entire life but I always found my chest was my weakest link especially after my labrum tear two years ago. I’ve been building my upper body back up since and I just can’t seem to get my bird chest up to par with my back and legs. Your videos have definitely helped me the last few weeks and I have definitely felt my chest activated and a lot more sore after workouts. I’ve noticed growth and definition in barely a month. Absolute lightbulb moment for me on the warm ups discussion.
Ive always had great shoulders and mediocre chest. I put up big weight so i was ok with it. But i always did chest day and felt like a shoulder day. Decided to change that.
Saw your video 3 sets into my chest day and just stopped what i was doing and started over with a significant warmup.... Game changer. Spent 20 min doing knee pushups and power bands to mimic cable rows, and burnt out my upper body.
Previously i was trying to target my chest with motion and angles, and couldnt get it. Also perscribed to the mentality that warm up sets were wasted strength stealing from my big weights. NO MORE.
I doubled down on the warmups on a couple lifts. I did warmups of just the bar/dumbell motion with no weight for a 20 rep before picking up anything. Really felt a difference.
Sitting here after my workout and i can say i havent engaged my chest like this in years. If you have dominant shoulders, WARM UP.

I think I’m gonna go Incline Smith as my main mass builder, as I prefer to train on my own (no spotter), plus, I’m weaker now. I don’t trust my stabiliser muscles as I go up in weight. Also, I don’t like the way my shoulders feel in the incline bench in my gym.
At least with a Smith, I can position the bench in a position that is comfortable for my shoulders to press from
