- When Eddie Van Halen was playing “316”-as part of his solo guitar-during Van Halen III Tour held at CoreStates Spectrum, Philadelphia, on May 24th, 1998, Wolfie Van Halen ran towards his Dad from the backstage and kissed him. Six years later, when Eddie was playing “316”-as part of his solo guitar-during Van Halen 2nd Formation Reunion Tour held at Pepsi Arena, Albany, NY, on June 26th, 2004, Wolfie walked towards his Dad from the backstage carrying his special-designed EVH Wolfgang guitar and co-played “316” so as to his Dad could improvise it. Three years later, when Eddie was playing “316”-as part of his solo guitar-during Van Halen 4th Formation Tour held at Wachovia Center, Philadelphia, on October 1st, 2007, Wolfie didn’t ran nor walk towards him anymore. Why? Because Wolfie had officially become the new bass player of Van Halen as seen during Van Halen 4th Formation Tour held at Bell Center, Montreal, on November 10th, 2007.

It’s funny to look back at this now because Van Halen fans got all up in Wolfgang’s ass saying he wasn’t really singing or playing and then he turns around and puts out to rock albums where he does everything on the album.
All that music was stolen from his dads demo's. he never wrote anything...

I love EVH more than anybody but it’s a disgrace how he behaved so poorly while “supposedly” loving Wolfie. I mean of course he does but then clean the fuck up and set a good example like a loving father should. That is priority number 1 as a dad.
Eddie did get clean long before he passed, mostly because of Wolfie. RIP EVH 🙏

Ed taught him not to depend on a lead singer, I think part of eds frustration came from those Events and Turing point in 84 when Roth left ,what was van happen going to be after just getting to the top then came Sammy and believe there break up was orchestraed by a jealous person who told lies to ed. Would of loved to see ed and Sam back before his passing as a band again at least Sam is trying to bring that to life and honor ed in his recent plans to tour van Halen. Everybody else wants to fight and not talk,would love to see all back especially alex, he would p!at out for his bro!!!!!!!
