    Hi Courtney! I love this pattern and like all others said, you are such a wonderful teacher. I had done one of your butterfly mosaic patterns and love it. But this, as I am exploring more Tunisian (new but not new) is just a fun pattern. I was doing a TCAL but I just couldn’t get into it, frogged and and now gonna make this. Thank you for your excellent teachings.

    Love this Courtney! I've been wanting to explore Tunisian crochet by actually making something and this is perfect! Excellent job on the tutorial. I'm so glad you explained how to make it grow wider quicker. I just happen to have Tangotopia too! Some of my summer WIPS may have to wait. Thank you!! 😘

    This style of shawl is so pretty!!! Love Tunisian crochet, I find it so relaxing. I done a sample of a blanket in different size and colour squares, the edges at the colour changes are so neat!!! , I have gotten kind of sidetracked with mosaic lol!!!! I think all yarn crafters have this condition !!!!!!lol😂😂😂 I don’t tend to have many WIP’s, I do like to finish one item, but do tend to start something else so I have something different on my hook, anyone else do that?.lol🤔😂😂😂😂😂

    I like this stitch. I might want to make it with an even bigger hook to give an even lacier look. Thanks for this tutorial.

    Hey Court I found my hook it is a bamboo CHIaoGoo with a 25 in cord. The hook is a M/13 [9.omm]
    The yarn is one of the same cakes you use in tutorial,but my brain cant think right now. If I ever get todays video to upload, I hope you will watch it. I had a good time with that part of video. Ok well let me know if i need a smaller hook and i will order a smaller size.
    Ok hugs & peace out,charlene

      @@FiberFoxStudios was it in the hat finish video? Not sure. Sometimes I make a video and have to stop and start over and forget that comment was in the first scrap. Oh the wondrous mind of charlene?

    When picking up the chain for the 2nd row repeat, do you pick up the whole V of the chain or just one piece?
    Thank you, beautiful piece!!! 💖

    • @FiberFoxStudios
      @FiberFoxStudios  2 роки тому +1

      Hi and thank you!! You pick up the full V but if you like the look you get by just picking up one side of the stitch you can do that as well. Hope this helps, sorry for the delay in response, I was playing farmer today and hadn't been online. 😘😘😁

    I love this pattern. But If you stop your work and come back to it how do you know where you left off. I can't tell if I'm on row one or row two.

    • @FiberFoxStudios
      @FiberFoxStudios  10 місяців тому

      Hmmm...I think I understand your question, it's a 2 row repeat only because you are doing an increase on the second row. Other than the increase we are working the same stitches each row. If you miss an increase or have an extra increase here or there it's really not going to be noticeable. The only way I can think of to try and figure out what row you are on is to go to the end of the row and see if you have 2 stitches worked into the same stitch for the increase. I hope that helps.

    You can use a knooking hook too xx

    Court i only have a size 13 corded hook,will this be way to big?

    • @FiberFoxStudios
      @FiberFoxStudios  4 роки тому

      I think that will be fine you definitely want to stick with the size 4 yarn so even a 5 weight would be ok

      This one does not decrease You could work 2 of them and seam together or you can work a standard decrease but this was designed to have one end wider.

    Courtney, Courtney, Courtney! Where are you, gurl? I don't see a snail mail address for you and I want to send you a card when we get closer to the holidays. Please get a PO Box, or whatever, and list it "down below" in each of your videos, thanks. Also, are you making the "crochet wiggly trivet?" Have you done it yet? If you want to see it, check out Dana's Wanderlust crochet, #crochetwigglytrivet. You'll get at least 3 hits for her bcz she had uploaded some updates. I want to listen to you as I learn it bcz I love your voice, your personality and your "squiggle" laugh (that makes me so happy). Sorry, this is quite a ramble... and pushy... love you, gurl! =)

    To me, the starting method looks like a cross between Tunisian and ordinary double crochet.

    • @FiberFoxStudios
      @FiberFoxStudios  4 роки тому

      Yes its a Tunisian dc also called a Tunisian double. Its a really easy stitch to work for someone new and wanting to try out Tunisian. Good eye!
