I wanted to save up for the new Anthem but the Denon AVR-A1H is my target.

Those arcam are substantially better than denon a1h or any anthem. Those are the best of the best without going to Jbl synthesis or trinov.

Fyi those arcams are not 9.2.6 if you use sub 1 and sub 2 are the same, not individually. Only channels 13 14 15 16 are separate, so if you use all channels is only 9.1.6

You gotta use a mini dsp for subs!!!! That’s the only way!!!

It has 4 subs out channels 13 14 15 16, but you have to assign those for example I use 7.2.6 with bass control engage I use minidsp before but trust me with Dirac live bass control you won use minidsp anymore

If you can ask audio advice if the can share the bass control they have so you can try it out

Aint no difference but them speaker posts and such from what i can gather. Some dacs and stuff and the boxes look almost the same. Seems like their aint no better options so get the arcam i guess, maybe get a jbl synthesis or the oddio comtrol some such other box. My friend has a foundation 4k and it is good as he says but not up to yamaha specs. Whadda think it this box good? Im fixin to get one. Did they play when ypu dug in to em? Better than my pioneer htr100? I got 4 speakers and 8 amps drivi g them biamped. All focal utopia huge ass speakers and one jmlab 8 inch sub. Dirac seems crazy hard to use for me. Like computers and such. Laptop mic is louder so i used it. Should i get a bigger sub? Hows dirac? Is it working for you?

The average 41 didn’t work. It was doa.

says 9.2 but only has 7 amps. arcam are over rated, overpriced, under featured, can buy way better amps at less that half the price, paying more doesnt mean better in audio, and thats a fact
