Being brand new to the I-TGT system in Firewill's aircraft, I'm really glad I found this video. Your explanations are concise, concrete, and brief. Excellent video.
A big thank you for this video. It was really well explained and looks so easy to use, looking forward to taking out some offroads now. 10/10 I tried a mission out using 6 different vehicles spread further apart and it works like a dream.
Just downloaded and could not figure out how to do the GPS, so thanks for the tutorial. In what order do the bombs drop? They do not drop in order in the list from top to bottom. For example, I have all of the same JDAM models loaded, and I designate two targets, and the first bomb may acquire a GPS lock, but the second does not. It seems that you have to choose the third or fourth in the pylon list to get the second drop, but the order does not seem to be a pattern.
Hi, I'm curious how you can drop 3x GBUs hanging under one pylon into three different targets. There is one pylon in the weapons list and it assigns it to three targets, but it doesn't work. I have three bombs flying at the same target. Do you have any idea for this?
Mode has 4 settings, GPS being the standard gps guidance. Dual being guided by GPS when first dropped, but once in range it will switch to lazer guidance. CG and CG-T are specific for cruise missiles TV guidance. As for the priority, this sets the drop order of the pylon. The higher the number, the higher the priority, the bomb with highest priority at time of drop will be the first one released.
@@Hornet_221 how exactly do i set pylon drop order? This seems incredibly useful if, say, 3 targets are in one part of the map, and you have to fly to the next ones and hit those coordinates. Currently with the random pylon drop order this is wasted ordnance at best or restricts you to one target area, as dense as it may be.
@@heavierthanairfilms The oder goes by which pylon has the highest priority number first. the F-15E is very confusing for this, so best bet is, if you want a specific bomb to drop, set its priority to 10, and lower the others. personally with the F-15, i carry lazer guided, that way theres no confusion, other airframes itl drop from the outer most pylons in a Left Right Left Right order until it gets to the center of the plane. (only if its all the same bomb tho)
Testing it as we speak actually, It seems the multi point carriers only count as one pylon in the I-TGT. so you can designate one GPS target per pylon but the multi holder wont add to the list of available pylons. thus even though its say a 3 bomb rack on one hardpoint, you can only designate those for one target at a time.
@@Hornet_221 That was the same result that I had, wanted to confirm others were seeing the same. If there was a way to set a single designate to that pylon then move on to the next pylon that would be great. But unfortunately it seems you have to run through your pylon of 3 before moving on to the next pylon.
Also if you select a pylon then press the edit button you've got some options there but can't seem to find any documentation to explain what those options are for.
@@406thmountaindivision so the 4 options are GPS (Self Explanatory) Dual, which is a dual system of guidance that will lock onto either laser or GPS or both. CG and CG-T are specific for controlling the AGM-84 SLAM Cruise missile. the CG and CG-T mode allows for manual pilot control of the missile during flight. Standing for Control Guidance and Controlled Guidance- Terminal. CG is immediate control of the missile with mouse inputs, and CG-T is control of the missile once the missile has entered Terminal stage of flight, where it is within range of the target and close enough to begin controlling, rather than manually controlling for the entire duration, it gives a delay to allow the pilot to do other things as the missile gets closer.
Im having some issues switching from the cockpit view to the TGP screen to manually control the TGP. Does anyone know the keybind to stitch to that view?
This is incredibly helpful, how did you switch to I-TGT from Direct mode? Quick question for you as well, how are you seeing your throttle percentage in your upper left hud? I really would like to have this functionality.
i get a message saying that they are not put on gps mode even tho when i edit the munition in the targeting system all of them are on gps anyone know what i should do?
Make sure you are sending the gps info to the correct pylon, they drop in a specific order, and it has to go to the bomb that is gonna drop when you release it. And be sure to be in I-TGT mode
I have been trying this GPS guidance with the ASMPA nuclear missile that's a mod requires the AWS we are watching here...it's appears as GPS guided ammo in load out
Its the next weapon keybind, by default F. Youll see it both by the new icon in the weapon selection up on the top right (looks the same as the top down missile mode icon for launchers) and on the heads up display infront of you

What bomb, aircraft, and targeting pod are you using. Was it dropped in "I-TGT Mode" and did the correct bomb drop first, as if you have multiple bombs of the same type, you have to remember which one will be dropped first, as the data is sent to one pylon only.

Is it possible to hit more than two enemies at once with six jdam bombs on two pylons?
Unfortunately not. The triple rack bombs arent counted as individual bombs, only the pylons do.
Have you attempted to do this from a pylon with multiple GPS JDAMs by chance?

how do yo uchange to that secondary mode??
I tgt mode is just another weapon fire mode, so just use the next weapon switch (f by default) if you have a bomb that is gos capable ( gbu 38/39/31)
thanks man!@@Hornet_221
Only works with JDAMS... Pylon list will not show GBU 12s
That would be because GBU-12's are laser guided, not GPS, unless you use the GBU-12 paveway IV (i think, one of em has GPS Guidance)
