    Fantastic content. I'm just getting into kayak fishing around Charleston and I'm still trying to figure out the inshore thing. This was super helpful.

      Thanks bud, It was super cool catching that redfish in a Creek 2’ wide. It took him forever to decide to eat.

      I’m not that great to fish with, I come off as schizophrenic. You won’t know if I’m talking to you, or myself (camera). 😂

    Enjoying the learning content you’re producing👍 It was a little distracting with you having to give the new guy explicit directions on how to even set up his yak! But good stuff anyhow. Maybe you could do a video on your favorite knots, and how you tie them, or at least incorporate that into one of the fishing vids. Short segment kinda thing! When you tied that uni to uni looked like maybe you wrapped it a little different than normal? Waiting on the 500🙏😀

      Yep some of the louder vocals were unavoidable. However, I don’t foresee much of that in the future. As for knots I will definitely post some instructional videos and link them in my videos whenever I tie the knots. Thanks for watching !

    • @CurrentAngling
      @CurrentAngling  Рік тому +1

      Yep I changed the profile picture to a redfish because I’m mainly fishing for inshore fish. The other picture was a largemouth bass.

    Now I wish I know what inshore that was public or not

    • @ytho95
      @ytho95 4 місяці тому

      So long as you're physically in or on the water, it's public. The moment you're on dry land, more than likely not public. The best way to fish inshore is to get a water craft of some kind. The kayak you see in this video, with everything on it is upwards of $4000 because it being a pedal drive, plus the fish finder, the size, ect. You do not NEED something like that to start with though. I started with a $300 walmart fishing kayak. Then I got a $2000 jon boat off facebook and now a $20k center console. If you don't have anything and are just starting out, I would highly recommend at least a $300-600 starter fishing kayak, it won't be anything special, you'll be very limited to distance so planning is key. I recommend using Google earth to plan out trips. You can identify oyster beds and distance from launch. Thats the two biggest things you need. Fish oyster beds near creek mouths typically on incoming tides. Outgoing tides will make the water clarity poor and will typically negatively impact fishing. The first few trips try to be out around low tide so you can see oyster beds in person
