Appreciate it! It takes alot of effort to launch the drone and try to get the right shots. Certainly would catch more fish if I wasn’t fussing with it all but I enjoy making videos and sharing!
Ah, winter's finally over! Great work with those swimbaits for different species. That was super fine technique and drone footage on the red in the grass, dude! Inspiring, and I'm ready to get back out on the water!
15-23 is a much better slot in terms of eating quality than we in NC have at 18-27. the smaller the fish, the better the meat. to a point of course. once a fish gets so small you dont get any amount of meat off it, it defeats the purpose. 15-18" is the optimum.
I agree. My favorite is around 19-20” which is perfect for my small family. I get one side, wife and kid split the other. Lightly batter in corn starch, white wine reduction sauce with capers, serve over grits. 😋
Yeah, I give them a freshwater rinse after every trip including the rods. I usually clean them every winter and drop some reel oil on bearings as needed throughout the year. Thanks for watching !
Hey, do you still do guides fishing trips? I was hoping to bring my boys to Charleston for some inshore kayak fishing when I get back from deployment. I figured a guided trip might help or success out there.
Hey! I’m not guiding but can highly recommend two guides. Chris Tweedy for kayak excursions @ carolinatopwater.com. Or Capt Gates Roll for boat trips @ www.follybeachfishingtrips.com
Completely agree with you about the thrill of catching a red in skinny water and up in the grass. Catching on off a dock is not even comparable
I used to do a bunch of big game hunting out west. This gives me a similar feeling. Thanks for watching
Very impressive footage!

Definitely not easy to film and fish in the yak especially trying to do the drone without bumping the stick 😂😂. Good stuff 🤙
Thanks for watching! I always worry about landing. I have to pull it from the sky.

I got skunked by the reds last weekend and before. Guess it's time to spend a few hundred on some new gear! Lol
Nah just spend more time on the water. Thanks for watching skunk will roll off.
Do you do anything to your Reels before or after fishing in the saltwater to keep them working smoothly?
Yeah, I give them a freshwater rinse after every trip including the rods. I usually clean them every winter and drop some reel oil on bearings as needed throughout the year. Thanks for watching !
