- You’ll regret not saving ALL your exotics. The final shape is bringing exotic class items. These will have 2 random perks taken from other exotics so it’s kind of like having two exotics equipped at once. As of right now we don’t know exactly how to get them but it’s likely from the campaign or from exotic engrams. If they act like every other exotic, once you unlock it the first time, you can take your exotic engrams to the cryptarch and focus them into exotic class items with random rolls. This will give you multiple different rolls of these exotics and potentially give you a god roll combination.
TLDR - SAVE YOUR EXOTIC ENGRAMS UNTIL FINAL SHAPE!!!

Bungie confirmed that the exotic class items will drop from a new activity and you'll get a random roll each time you complete it.

Bungie confirmed that the exotics will drop from a specific activity and Rahool will have a reputation track... That's why you save exotic engrams to increase the rep with Rahool on release. Bungie confirmed that as well... So this reel is missinforming.
Dont forget that saving engrams also will help in leveling him up

That will probably be the Solar Combo. I was thinking Nightstalker with the combo of Omnioculous and Gyrfalcon (never skip chest day?), Omni and Assassin's Cowl, or Gyrfalcon and Orpheus Rig.
Celestial is not in the pool for exotic class items. It’s only exotics that can work for all classes actium or lumafactions . Not stuff like geomags or shards of galanor unfortunately
Celestial nighthawk don't spawn orbs of power though not as much and regular shots
In the same way as abilities in prismatic are limited to a selected few, the exotic effects in the class item pool will be limited. Star eater scales are confirmed but I don’t think celestial nighthawk is. I think the point of exotic class items is that any class can roll any exotic effect, so it doesn’t make sense for celestial nighthawk as it would only work on hunter.
@@travisalexander6440The only one you mentioned that will definitely be in the pool is assassins cowl. The exotic effect pool is shared between all 3 classes so nothing with class specific effects like omni, but gyrfalcons is possible.
You get them from completing the secret mission you unlock after completing all three overthrows WITHOUT teleporting to the next you can have 3 people for this initial part and after reaching the final level of the over throw(1000) kills each area (landing,blooming,impasse )you have to find the secret hidden bosses and eliminate them before the count down of no new spawning enemies. It shows over some UA-cam videos that they unlocked a flag that you rally to but ONLY 2 can enter so if you have a third you have to boot someone. I messed up my run and have to wait to run it again.

I was telling this to my buddy the other day. It sounds dumb to hoard engrams as of now. Once your postmaster gets filled all your new stuff will just push the older stuff out.

@@toxicplays4815the video just isn’t correct. Only way to get the exotic class item is from a specific activity or from chests in the pale heart. So saving your existing exotics or engrams won’t have any value when it comes to getting the exotic class items.

God I’ve only been back for like a month and I’m learning something new that’s been added or updated every day 😂. Definite nice considering i only played for a month or so after launch and havnt touched it since. Nice to come to a game with infinite posibilities.

I don’t see why they wouldn’t. You have to be very careful with saving them in postmaster or you’ll delete them when getting new loot you missed.

bungie fixed this for the witch queen, trust me I tried. Any exotic engram you save won't give you the new final shape exotics, it will only give you exotics from the time period of when that exotic engram dropped.

I personally don't think we will get any from the first completion of the campaign. The way I've heard many creators put it, the reason that the raid race is going to be so early, just a mere 3 days after the initial release of the campaign, is solely so the competition will be held without the use of the exotic class items. I could be wrong but only time will tell. I'm excited for them and the expansion nonetheless.

There’s an insane amount of combos. Imagine combining wormgod caress and Karnstein armlets. Or Sunbracers on any solar Titan build. Game is gonna blow wide open if you can really combine anything.
There is no blade barrage in prismatic hunter. There is limitation in aspects and they re mostly bad. Also I think these class items are only active if u use prismatic. Bungie did great idea in a horrible way again.

Exotic ciphers will be usable in the future to basically "artifice armor" upgrade your exotic items.
It isn't much, but behaves the same as artifice armor with the extra 3 stat point armor slot that artifice armor has.
Don't go splurging the few you can store.
You will not get exotic class items from Master Rahool. They will only come from the new activity. Save them to level him up to get the new normal exotics that used to drop from lost sectors.

Make sure to hold onto a full inventory of exotic engrams when final shape comes so that when you focus at rahool, you'll gain huge progress towards resetting vendor rep with him and getting the third tier of focusing unlocked as soon as possible.
Currently have 37 exotic engrams and 8 prime engrams stocked so far! 😂

If those exotics are class items, then you should be able to equip another exotic with the class item exotic, it worked in Destiny 1, it should work as well in Destiny 2 as well.
Let's say you have a exotic armor equipped and you want to equip the class item exotic, it shouldn't give you a restriction, because it's not classified as exotic armor, but part of the new sub-class called Prismatic.
They confirmed when they announced the exotic class items that they will come from a replayable quest after the raid goes live.
If I got a gyrfalcons/ gravitron combo it would be pretty dope hunter build.
Karnstein armlets and winters guile in one would be SOOOOOO GOOOD.
Isn’t the engram already pre decided as to what it is? For instance you get an exotic engram in this case it’s shards of gallanor, no matter how long you hold the engram it will always be shards of gallinor even through seasons. Isn’t this how it was designed?

You can’t get the new exotic class items from engrams they will be from a new farmable activity, but saving exotic engrams will help level rahool in final shape

I wouldn’t hold your breath on that, but that’d be nice. Maybe they’ll drop new ones with different perks on them or something if you don’t like these though. Luckily the season pass armor looks like it’s made to match these at least
Prismatic is more Ad clear than boss dps.
All of the abilities and the combined exotic perks are mainly meant for ability sharing, ability combos, and ability spam between all classes and subclasses.
It's from a farmable secret exotic mission. And I'll let everyone know how to get the mission here:
Step 1: Complete the campaign (preferably on Legendary to get the bump in light level, as this activity's power cap is 1995).
Step 2: In a single visit to the surface of the Traveler, complete the Overthrow in each area, but prior to moving on to the next zone, you must find and kill a secret wizard hidden in the area before the time runs out. (Fast Travel between areas is safe to do, as long as you don't leave the "planet").
Step 3: After all 3 secret wizards are killed, fast travel to The Blooming and look for the green beam in the sky. (It will lead into a cave).
Step 4: Interact with a marked area in the room to get a buff that will make 2 objective markers appear. (They will look like "half symbols")
Step 5: Kill all the enemies at the marker and bring the orb they dropped back to the room where you got your buff. Do this with both orbs and the exotic quest will appear on your map.
Important note: This quest can only be done with 2 people who have the quest unlocked and it's a true test of communication and efficiency.
However, the reward is that both players guaranteed their respective exotic class armor at the end every time, no matter how many times you run it. And each time it will roll with 2 random exotic armor perks.
I had full exotic engrams a week before the announcement and I spent every single one of them on a tiny bit of a better roll
As a lazy hunter who hoards every single weapon that could have a niche use and every single bit of armour that could feasibly be used in a build for good stats, I am glad I don't have the space to even decrypt my exotic engrams

The class items won't have God rolls per se, there are going to be numerous ideal combinations. And personally I interpreted their commentary as we'll be able to selectively add abilities to the item opposed to having to farm out 1 million hoping for a good one

Something that I'm wondering about. Would it be possible to wear the same exotic as the perk that the class item drops with? Like two cuirass of the falling star? Would it stack for even more damage on Thundercrash? Or two nighthawk effects?

Those exotic perks crossover does not support the full perk.

You do know that when you get an exotic you can collect any exotic from your collections so how can you regret not saving them when you can just collect them from your collections?
I still haven't heard if you can ware this plus another exotic item. It would be pretty shitty to have to wait until you go prismatic to get the item to work.
