  • I thought I’d share some of my studio experiments with you. I’m doing something a little different here by actually talking and showing my face😧 so I hope you enjoy!
Let me know if you prefer the spoken explanations or the typed ones.
Btw, kitchen litho using aluminum foil and cola was developed by the French artist, Émilie Aizier. Look her up if you’re interested in learning more on the subject.

Nice to come across your printmaking here on YT - wow who'd have imagined so many proofs from a kitchen litho 'plate' I'm impressed

      Thanks, Aine!
Believe it or not, there’s a part 2 coming. I think I’ve printed this ‘plate’ about 50 times in total!

Great stuff!. Good to hear your voice and see you as well. Just seems to make the video more complete. One question, why did you make the two little pencil marks on the back of your gampi paper? Thanks!

      Thanks!
The pencil marks are registration marks. They’re not needed if I print only the one layer, but I thought it better to add them in case I decide to print another plate on top. Experiments always seem to lead to further experiments.
