  • Join me for another exciting (probably only to extreme print nerds like myself) experiment in my studio!

    these prints looks as fresh as a daisy; very successful indeed!!
    what is meant by 'flats' in this context? (sorry if you have explained this already.)

      Instead of drawing on the plate with grease based materials, you can make a flat by masking out areas where the remaining becomes a solid “flat” colour.
      I always loved printing semi-transparent flats over drawn black litho layers when using stone or plate, but I haven’t had so much success with transparent flats and kitchen litho. I get much better success on foil without the tint base.
