Camping on a MASSIVE salt lake

- Lake Ballard is a massive salt lake with a well equipped camping area. We explore the lake ballard sculptures through the day, spend some time cooking up jaffles.
We have a convoy of eight vehicles including a Mercedes Sprinter 4x4 van, 200 series landcruiser, Isuzu Dmax and Nissan GQ Patrol. This is outback australian adventure at it's best, and an overlanding journey on many peoples bucket list.

Over the course of a week you will see 7 videos exploring the Goldfields region of Western Australia. There will be ghost towns, gold mining, prospecting, bush camping and outback exploring all along the way.

Wow! those intro shots were next level. I liked the effect of the slow music with the sped up footage too. Noodles in a jaffle? Now I think i have seen everything :) We rather stupidly bypassed Lake Ballard when we went up that way. Good excuse to go back though... Haha, loved Jake's voice over radio style voice LOL (I keep adding while I watch) Some brandy in the mulled wine might have given it a bit more ooompf.
Judging by the end of your comment there Marc you've reached the end of the video 😄 Yeah it definitely needed more brandy! I didn't have nearly enough in there! If you get a chance, try and get out there after big rain, I'd love to pack up and dash out there after a rain event when it's covered with water

Yeah it's a bit of an eye sore hey 🙄 It's so much nicer looking out over a clean white section of the salt lake. I say it's the fact that we had a lay day which made for a bit nicer imagery. A bit more chill, more time to play around with cameras 🙂

I googled who came up with "goon" and abc said this 🤔
