I love how genuine you are in your videos. I admire that you speak of your anxiety so openly and choose to go ahead and make these videos anyway. Fear of people making fun of me and thinking my videos are stupid is what keeps me from making them. Thank you for the inspiration❤️
The rolex ring being hard to bend actually indicates it's use of cheaper metal not the other way round! Precious metal (silver, gold, etc) is generally softer and therefore easier to bend so long as they aren't brittle/work-hardened. To my knowledge they are silver plated but the internal structure is Tin, Copper, or Steel (cant remember off the top of my head but your difficulty bending them would indicate steel) And for a little extra history, the Rolex rings weren't actually even produced by Rolex! They're produced by an equally reputable company who also did jewellery called "Butcherer" and they were paid by Rolex to release these with their brand name as an advertisement for both companies in the late 50's :) Cool stuff though, been considering trying some spoon rings myself, but it's hard to find pure sterling silver cutlery these days! Unfortunately I can't wear anything else as my skin reacts with it.
It’s very cathartic hearing you stress about starting your piece…I do same! Not any people get this weirdness of the anxiety or stress due to you not wanting to mess up the jewelry, so thank you for your honesty! I love your video! Excellent! All the best! ❤
I know the feeling of getting your first sales. For me 10 yrs later...I'm burned out. I really need to renew my self..somehow. Best of luck to you..I doubt you'll need It! You go girl ♡
Everything you are doing is Perfect... The most common reason why people fail is failure to commit and consistency... the lack of Consistency... You have inspired me to return to the grind of making my pewter jewelry... thank you for an excellent video :-)
My mom is wanting some spoon rings for her B-day, and it's coming up soon but I didn't even what a spoon ring was. So it's funny that I found your channel, but yeah keep up the good work the video was absolutely awesome!!💯😎👍

Hey never apologize for promoting yourself. Use all platforms you can get on to promote your business. Even UA-cam so dont ever feel bad for making a video on youtube promoting your business. Thats how you get your product out to the public to you sell your items. So just go for it and promote everywhere you can. If you dont market yourself no one else will... I love spoon rings my Grandfather use to make spoon jewelry he made a lot of jewelry for me. Can where most of it because he made it when I was a child. Anyways I really like your spoon rings...❤👍👍
@@ChaunnaDiaz does not have a brand but I got it from eBay and it leaves no marks on the metal which is amazing but I really like what you’ve started keep it up.
I know that this comment is a bit late but im dying to know where you get your spoons and what do you search because i can't seem to find them anywhere online or in my country 😢
wow!! how did you manage to find the spoons from the worldwide collection? they look amazing! I really want to try making these, going to my thrift store later :)

I know it says Scott. But it is not Scott. My name is Kathy. I hope everything goes well with your business. I applaud you! Keep us posted on how you do.
They’re hard to bend not because they’re high-quality metal, but because they’re stainless steel. If they were _silver_ spoons, they’d bend like butter by comparison. Bending steel is hard work! 🤪
You do AMAZING work !! In my completely honest opinion , YOU NEED to plug your work more !!! Absolutely beautiful work !!! SUBBED and can't wait to see more !
So I've always loved spoon rings I love finding them and buying them but I do want to start making them even just for myself and my family I do so many other crafts I crochet I do resin epoxy resin are I pay I draw you know I like having a bath variety of things I know how to do because it's a good skill to have being crafty is a good skill to have and I've always wanted to make my own spoon rings the problem is I can only wear silver sterling silver gold platinum and titanium steel because I'm allergic to other metals I can't even wear copper or nickel and nickel is very expensive and it's a high grade metal but I can't wear it I'm allergic to them so it's hard for me to find you know cheaper flatware that I can actually wear
Vintage thrift shops are your friend for locating sterling cutlery! Depending on the place though they can run a hefty price for shops trying to cash in on the "vintage" trends
you’re a gem for teaching people how to make them !!
I just love her personality so much 😥😥🥰

Do you sell a lot of them. I have about 3 or 4 hundred sterling spoons. Thought about making some.

You should probably do annealing to minimise the risk of breaking the ring while forming

If I send you a spoon, What would you charge ?
I'm down a spoon making spiral on youtube lol. Your collection is so impressive!!!
I'm more interested in that coffee you made wow what was that? I saw ice?
Great job and very interesting!
So do you just bend it around the mandrel? I'm worried about denting or bending the mandrel when tapping around it.
Get a a 401 stainless mandrel and you won't have that problem at all .
