  • In January 2019 I‘ve posted a video about the simple habits that changed my life. In today‘s video (4 years later), I am going through all those habits again. Which ones do I still have today? Which ones have I given up? Were these lifechanging at all?

I've begun in my forties to adopt a minimalist approach to life.

Thank you for another video. Changing and evolving is normal, as you rightly said. I used to be very strict with myself in following certain behaviours and omitting others but like you I realised that I cannot keep doing that. I used to wait until everything was perfect to start using my ideal stuff and being my ideal self but in life there is never everything perfect and if we keep waiting for this "perfection" we keep wasting our life. So yes, like you I am now taking the good with the bad as it is all a part of my life. Rant over :)

Going for walks every day with my dogs is the one I have been doing it for 20+ years and it is the one habit that keeps me balanced and happy. Another is getting into nature- not a city park but proper nature where you can hear the wind in the trees and not hear any cars. ❤

I have been binge watching your videos, they are so inspiring and truly "simple" in the sense that your everyday life seems so realistic. I can totally relate to it on many levels. Thank you so much for sharing!

Interesting how I have just watched the old habit video yesterday - I only recently discovered your channel, and periodically go back to slowly catch up. Habits that helped me the most recently is making an evening routine a bigger part of my morning routine, so to say. I'm very slow first couple hours after waking up, no matter the time, so having everything prepared has been great. I also support daily writing and shopping smartly - even if my "smartness" is ramen and a tin of beans, it's still smarter than a pizza run. 🤌🏻🥲
