I have thing out my closet, I love fashion so not as minimalistic at all but love joojs my wardrobe. I implement some of the financial suggestions and investigate investment, building up for a down payment.
When it comes to waking up early, a tip would be doing things like having your lunch ready to go, your outfit already laid out for the day, generally just setting up as much as you can the night before. It makes your morning routine less chaotic and quicker to get through, allowing you to sleep more and be less stressed running around in the mornings
To wake up at the first alarm I try the 5 seconds rule. I hear the alarm I count 5 4 3 2 1 and take of the duvet entirely off my body. It works great for me in two weeks I stopped to snooze the alarm :)
One thing that has really helped me in the mornings is changing my alarm to a gentler, softer noise. The standard iPhone alarm is so aggressive that it automatically puts me into a bad mood, and starts my day off by startling me, upsetting me in the process. Just not a good start to the day. The alarm I now use is the ‘ripples’ sound, still wakes me up without giving me a heart attack in the process and makes my mornings much gentler and happier 😁🌸
Sick of all this anti aging sh*t. I am pro aging. Please don't do anything just because of some comments, you are perfect! I agree with the other ideas. :)
People who snooze their alarms are usually chronically sleep deprived. Starting going to bed earlier and getting all the sleep your body actually needs will result eventually waking up before alarms and never feeling tired in the morning. But, be warned, it comes with a price. In wintertime I need 9-11 hours of sleep every night which means I go to bed really early, like granny early and don’t have much time for anything else in the evenings. But the relaxed slow mornings and the way my fully rested body makes me feel are so worth it.
Agreed! We sleep train babies and children, but as adults we think we don't need the same habits, but we really do. How long would you normally sleep when the sleep conditions are good and no alarms are set? Then factor in what time you want to get up, back it up by the number of hours of sleep required, and voila, you have your bed time. The discipline is sticking to it! Yes, sometimes easier said than done. I often wake up before my alarm, which I only set as a back up in case I do oversleep. My alarm rarely has a chance to go off anymore. My other habit as a 50+ post-menopausal woman (for those who aren't there yet, just keep this tidbit in mind for future you) is giving up caffeine and added sugar, as well as reducing all sugars overall. No more hot flashes that last for hours keeping me awake in the night; I'm back to sleeping through the night and waking up refreshed before my alarm. And I have so much more energy during the day. My co-workers have commented on it; I think they're secretly jealous, haha. I also loved the tip, ask what went well today. So good! Thank you for this video!
I’ve been definitely working on letting my partner know the good parts of my day, and even just the good parts even when something bad happened. I’ve noticed a change over time in focusing on the good > bad 🥰 I will for sure use that question to ask him!
I was a serial snoozer for sooo long. I solved this bad habit placing my alarm (phone) just outside my bedroom. Once I am out of bed I go straight to the shower and start my morning. It was hard at the beginning but it's much better now 🤗
I love quiet mornings and waking up early… But I was struggling a lot in winter and was starting to have a lot of anxiety from the sound of my alarm! I have added a sunrise simulation alarm - GAME CHANGER! I wake up easily and feeling rested, not startled awake by an alarm. Hope this might help someone else!
I used to be a chronic sleeping-in-till-the last-minute person. I found that setting my alarm to nice music from spotify (even earlier than my normal get-up time) to get coffee and then sit back in my warm bed has made my mornings delightful.
Thank you! I love the “what went well today” vs “how was your day”! More important for me…….the gratitude after complaining. I’m going to try both of these for sure! I’m so grateful I discovered your channel😍
💯 on the exercise thing. Thank you for introducing me to Heather Robertson. Her 10 minute videos have been HUGE for me. It clears this huge mental block of mine that prevented me from exercising in the first place. Consistency is so key, you are absolutely right!
On work days I don’t wake up earlier to get things done (unless it’s a washing hair day😅). Instead, I pack my lunch and set up the coffee maker the night before. I also try to think of an outfit I’m going to wear tomorrow and prep it the night before. All this shaves off about 15-20 minutes for me, which means a bit more sleep and a bit less stress in the morning 🙂
I love your content, and totally relate to the chronic self-improvement trend (and getting tired of it). For getting up on the first alarm, I would recommend putting your phone in another room so you have to get up to turn it off, have a gentler wake up sound (like birds song or something), or just deleting all the alarms and getting up on the last one instead- if you know you can get ready in that short timeframe, then simply lean into it and saviour the extra zzz without hitting snooze multiple times. Also agree with previous comments: "why we sleep" by matt walker is a game changer read👍🏻
Have you read ‘Atomic Habits’ by James Clear? I’ve been working through it to start being an early riser (morning workouts are a nonnegotiable for me with my depression), and one of the biggest points he made was how your environment impacts your habit making. Essentially, if your environment doesn’t allow for you to form the habit relatively easily, it’s not gonna happen. So I’m experimenting with altering my environment so that I don’t hit snooze so much in the morning. Lolol
Best way to wake up with one alarm is go to bed early and have high quality sleep! I get in bed at 9:30 every night and don’t eat right before bed and keep the room super dark
One tipp for getting up early: do something you really love first thing in the morning. So you wake up und feel exciting do it. For me it is my morning yoga. Never thought I could do that, but I get up 45 min earlier than I used to and I am always happy and grateful about this extra time just for me (before the kids wake up and all the chaos starts 😵💫)
Because I couldn't stop snoozing, I started seeing extra alarms. To get up at 6am, I set 3 alarms for 5:30, 5:45, and 6. This actually worked to help me get up on time.
I’ve noticed such a difference from using an alarm clock that uses light!! It starts diffusing light twenty minutes before my wake up time and I usually open my eyes “naturally” five minutes before it rings. It’s easier to get up because I’m way more awake thanks to this process!
I need at least 20 minutes to fully wake up, and i use the snooze from 5 minutes to 5 minutes until i am ready to get up, but in order not to be late i simply anticipated the time of my first alarm. I need to be up at 7.40, so all considered i place my first alarm at 7.20. For me it works PERFECTLY, i have all the ease to wake up softly In order to get up in a better mood, i also chose a soft alarm, effective but not aggressive
I get up at 2:30am to have time to meditate, have coffee, walk my dog and pack a lunch before being at work at 5am. I set a manual, old school very loud and annoying alarm clock in another room so I forced to get out of bed. I've grown to literally naturally wake up just minutes before that alarm so I manage to get out of bed and turn that alarm off before it rings.
I get up at 5:30 so I can go to the gym before work. By the time I get there, I am always so glad that I did. When I sleep in and don't go in the morning, I always regret it and I am so much more tired at the end of the day.
Always always plan the night before! I like to pack my lunch, shower, set out the clothes for the next day and (more importantly) set an automatic start time on the coffee pot
I once heard that a tip to help wake up at that first alarm is to shut it off, and then count down from 10 seconds and get up right at 0. It allows you time to lay there but not too long so you don't keep snoozing. I am NOTORIOUS for hitting snooze and sometimes have an incredibly hard time getting out of bed, and I work from home...
What helps me to get up in extraordinary early hours ( like leaving for some kind of journey or whatever), I speak to myself to wake up at a certain hour. This realy helps me - even if I only have two hours sleep after getting everything ready for get up and go. I've subconsciously done this through the years even for regular mornings where I might just have had a late hour crawling into bed. Dometimes I would not look at the clock before crawling into bed or just tell my mind its an hour or two earlier than it really is ;). This way I "fool" myself to thinking I've had my 6 or 8 hours sleep for the night. I must admit that this exercise has been neglected as the need for early rising has lifted slightly as we transition into our senior lifestyle, but I find myself under unnecessary pressure because of this. Rising a little earlier really helps in starting the day with a little less stress.
I always take 2-3 hrs to wake up coffee watch /read before I have to do something it deff sets the mood I am not a get up and go I’d be frazzled and prob forget stuff with those 2-3 hours I’m prepared physically and mentally
Having an alarm going off to write in journal in early am. Setting down on paper my intentions for the day is a huge help to getting stuff actually done. If I don't do it, I rarely get the stuff done that I would've if I'd written it down! Also setting a maximum of 3 things per day to get done. No more.
Something that has really helped to improve my mood is to practice gratitude every day. Just think of three things that you're grateful for - it's easy!
So I saw an article that said if you want to wake up to your first alarm then before you go to bed you basically do a test run of waking up. So you set your alarm for in 5 mins and get into bed as if you’re going to sleep and then when it goes off you get up and go to do the first thing you do in the morning (turn the shower/kettle on for example) and then you go to bed. And this does seem to work for me!
I set one alarm and immediately get up don't give your mind to think anything else. I now get up at 5:45 to workout. Once you start the habit it gets easier and easier. I never would have believed I could be a morning exerciser.
I like to write my to do list in the evening for the next day, i always make sure to put something I'm really excited about as first thing in the morning. It may be a really interesting book I'm reading, so il wake up earlier just to have 30mins to read, or watch a TV show I was really waiting for, stretching, painting my nails, do a longer walk with my dog and so on. I always fall asleep with the thought of my first action of the following day, it helps a lot with waking up happy and active ✨
Thanks for putting this video out into the world! I’m definitely a morning person but one new habit I have been working into my morning routine is 5 minutes of meditation before listening to the cbc national news. Staring the day off with a positive mindset and getting up to date 🤓
Snoozer converted to first alarmer here. How? Dawned on me (ha! Pun) that the snooze alarm was lies I kept telling myself. Every morning I started my day with a lie to myself. And a persons biggest anxieties come from not trusting themself. Can't trust yourself if you consistently lie to yourself. Also, the realization the extra 20 minutes was not sleep. If I'm going to be in bed the extra 20 I might as well get 20 more of sleep than 20 minutes of annoying alarms. 20 minutes more sleep=helps stress 20 minutes of snooze alarms=adds to stress. I'm not getting extra sleep by hitting the snooze alarm I'm actually losing it.
To not snooze- don’t have your alarm within reach of your bed. I set mine across the room, so I have to fully get out of bed to shut it off, and then I’m closer to the bathroom and might as well shower at that point, or head down to the kitchen for coffee.
Christina, not sure if you’ll see this, but I really love your videos and appreciate your reflections and advice on getting life together. I just wanted to say I was the same as you, struggled in the morning and also not a night owl, and a high dose of vitamin D was key for me. I’m literally now a morning person, I never though that was possible.
I used to have many alarms but if I'm really honest I just didn't have enough sleep. Now Im trying to sleep more and most days I will wake up earlier than my alarm. That doesn't mean Im getting out of bed in time 😅 but I wake up feeling energized which is something new
To help with your first habit, Joshua Beckers video on How to be a morning person is 👌 As soon as your alarm goes off 'Feet on the ground, eyes out the window'
The “hatch” alarm clock is totally worth it! It’s a sunset alarm (which you can add sounds too as well) but its main point is to help you develop a bedtime routine. You can customize the sounds and light and create several steps for yourself. Highly recommend!
Agreed. I’ve been using the Philips SmartSleep alarm for a few years and it’s been amazing! I’m a night owl but I get up so easily now. I use the sunset function when I need help to unwind and I use the sunrise alarm every day. I take it with me when I travel for more than 1 day for work. I have a few mental health issues and it’s been a game changer for getting my day off to a better start.
Loved the premise of this video: tips to help you feel better/help out your future self. 🥰 Wonderfully done as usual! Also, anyone commenting negatively about your features clearly has too much time on their hands and could benefit from focusing on themselves and implementing some of these positive habits and other hobbies. 🌚
I've been exactly like you when it comes to snoozing. BUT the past four months I've been waking up about two hours before work. That is a really big deal for me who up until now have had the hardest time getting up in the morning! My trick was to put my phone on my dresser so that I had to get out of bed to shut the alarm off. That in combination with a strong mindset actually worked. It was hard the first two weeks or so but now I spend every morning on the sofa with my coffee, watching the news☕👌 I'm in my thirties so it's never to late!🙌
I wake up at 5:15. (No bragging, I just have an earlier job start time). I was a night owl and I am no longer. What helps is getting an alarm that has a sunrise light. It slowly wakes you up over the course of a half hour. Then get up right away, stand there and be present for a few moments. Sometimes I do mindful breathing and arm stretching. I have water right by my bed and I drink it. The pause and moment of situational awareness helps my brain realize I don't need to rush or start planning right away. Every day it gets easier to wake up.
To encourage getting up at your first alarm, best - and simplest solution - move your phone out of reach! Having to get up to turn it off, means your already out of bed and not likely to get back in. I also invested in a sunrise alarm clock, that slowly lights up leading up to your alarm time so you are “gently” woken up with light rather than a harsh noise
What helps me getting up in the mornings the most ist when I have enough sleep. So I figured out how much sleep I usually need (9 hours, a lot). And I make sure to go to bed at a time where I can get my 9 hours of sleep. And if there is a habit formed I eventually have no hard time getting up because I have slept enough throughout the last nights even if one night is not that great.
I think you should really try sleep cycle !! As it wakes you up when you're in light light sleep, you'll see that you actually don't need to snooze ! Have you ever thought that maybe the problem is not that you are or aren't a morning person, but just that your alarms rings during a phase of deep sleep ? Recently, instead of waking up between 6.30-7.00 with the help of this app, Ive been putting my alarm at 7h15 because I can start work a little later now... and guess what, I started snoozing (never done that in my life, I am really an earlybird), and I've never felt so tired in the morning ! Definitly give it a try !!
During the week I wake up at 5:30 or 6. I put my alarm across the room so I have to get out of bed to turn it off. I have also changed my alarm to a more calm tone, so I’m not jarring out of sleep
Thankyou for your honest and insightful videos. I find that my cat gets me up in the morning. She is my reason to start my day ! I really appreciate all your life tips and aim to build more exercise into my day ... very good to think that it can be a short session which is more manageable. I try to have a balanced lifestyle so all your thoughts really resonate with me. Many thanks.
Job gives you 2, 15 minute breaks and a lunch break. So those that work at home should make sure that you take those breaks away from the work area and set a timer to make sure you stay inside the time limitations and take off work after your 8 hours for those that are hourly wage salary. Because you do yourself a disservice because that actually lowering you salary if you work on your free time. And management could take advantage of this. Thanks for sharing and blessing to you and all in the days to come.
Ya I feel you, my voice is still so raspy after 12 days being recovered from Covid. I still feel a bit lethargic but I am taking it slow every day. Take care Christina ❣️❣️. Thank you for the inspiring video as always, I enjoyed your last video too!!!
Nice video! In the morning I am compleately different, I always wakeup before the alarm (each day at 6 am!), also at the weekend I wake up that early, I so much would like to sleep longer, but no way... 😝 However, I'm very active in the morning and it helps a lot to make alle the things that have to be done without stress and at the end I have accepted to be like this and that's ok! I really agree wirh you about the sunscreen! I do not use ANY cosmetical products or makeup, only sunscreen (50+) every day and I am really happy with my skin (I am 49 years old). I couldn't do without sports, I go jogging about 3 or 4 times a week and also swimming 3 times a week. Whatever makes my days difficult or stressy, after having done sports, everthing seems to be a bit easyer! Try it!
I found a huge difference in actually getting up when I started using a sunrise alarm clock. I’m much more likely to get up (and less grumpy) if I didn’t jolt awake to a phone alarm 😊
LOL Christina omg, I am TOTALLY a morning person and I still hit snooze. I don't think it will ever change. Stressed morning b/c of it? Sure. Or, get up at the first ring and not hit snooze? Loss of sleep!
I wake up without an alarm clock, everyday by the same hour. What works for me was learning to listen to my body, when I am tired. It is way more early than you would think. At first I even woke up this early in weekends and now mostly, sometimes I need an hour extra sleep in the weekends. I use (used) a normal alarm clock, no smartphones in the bedroom. I read my book and I listen to my body when to put the book away. I fall asleep within 5 minutes. So my tips: no smartphones, create a routine, learn to listen to your body find out how much sleep you actually need.
Wow I related to a lot of your mindset and struggles and am already moving towards some of the things you mentioned. It’s really validating! Thank you for your transparency 😊
To wake up and stay up keep your alarm on the other side of the room! It forces you to get up and out of bed to turn it off so then while you’re up might as well stay up
I've stopped being a snoozer once I've started setting only one alarm at the latest possible time I can wake up. Everything that needs to be done gets done. Everything else is neither a priority, nor something I would be willing to force myself into doing.
Solid complainer here hello hello 👋🙃 - yes it definitely brings up more stress to the surface and multiplies it rather than relieving it especially when it becomes cyclical and habitual and over nothing that important.
Read the book “why we sleep” it completely changed my sleep hygiene and I don’t ever hit snooze anymore! (It’s on audible too so you can listen while you’re doing other stuff)
I used to set my alarm for 7am and found that I struggled to get up. So I have set my alarm for 6.30am and then I can take that half an hour to slowly get out of bed. I stretch, set my intention for the day and then I am ready to get up at what would be my original time to get up, but I am more grounded and ready to start the day
I used to be a multiple snoozer. Now I don't have to set an alarm to wake up at 7 ish. Go to sleep earlier and at the same time every night. I'm in bed by 10:15 asleep by 11 at the latest. Wake up at the same time every day. Even on weekends even if you didn't sleep well the night before. You'll train your body and mind to wake naturally.
I used to be a snoozer, I’m now a one alarm and up and have been for quite a few years. My alarm noise is on the lowest sound and birdsong. When I wake up I generally feel refreshed rather than before when I had 4 alarms all to a siren that startled me out of sleep leaving me tired and groggy. I’m finding the actual birds outside wake me now even earlier. Might be worth a try for others?
If my phone is next to my bed I will never not snooze, so putting the phone outside my room has been a huge help! Then I have to get up to turn it off, then oh i need to pee, and at that point it’s easier to just stay up. I also occasionally change my alarm before bed, just 15/30 min or so - so if I go to bed late and that extra 15 min of sleep will be important - OR if I know I’ll need extra time that particular morning I’ll set it 15 min earlier. that way I know my alarm goes off at the time I actually want and need to get out of bed. Also - sleep after snoozing is crappy sleep anyway and not even worth it! But getting the phone out of the room has been the biggest key for me. And as others said, no harsh alarm sounds, that is such frantic bad energy to start the day with!
I put my phone further away from my bed, so I need to get up and walk to it to switch off the alarm. And since I'm already up I don't often feel the need to hop back into bed. Hope this helps! ☺
Not me waking up 3 hours before I have to leave the house because the thought of being rushed is way more stressful than feeling tired and dragging myself out of bed way earlier than I have to be 😅
To wake up once and for all, the solution for me was pretty easy. I set the alarm on my phone and put it in the other side of the room. That way I have to get out of bed to turn it off, and voila, now that I'm up let's get on with the day. And I was really bad before; at least 4 snoozes or the second alarm 15 mins later...
When my partner doesn't move after her first alarm, my sleep problems self uses a hand to push her towards the edge of the bed. Then she has to get out of bed to avoid falling out of bed.
I shower and pack my lunch the night before, and set time to get my ass in bed by, no excuses. That and sunrise alarm help to make the morning less stressful 😉👍
I need to wake up in time to have an Hour to sit, drink my coffee, and let it do it’s job ☕️💩🤣 before I can leave my house lol but thankfully it takes me like 15 mins to actually shower and be presentable
@@Christinamychas Just know I warned you, lol. It’s, “Woo Hah!!” The fact that there’s two exclamation marks in the title tells you something. One thing I really like about the song is that he says, “Wake up every morning, yo I must succeed.”
I feel so bad for the sunscreen bit! Let me explain, I'm feeling frustrated because my skin doesn't like spf. It's fine if I wear occasionally but if I wear it everyday I break out because it clogs my pores. Also I don't wear make up so when I put spf on, I look white and shiny and I struggle with the idea of looking weird in the moment so that maybe I can look less aged in the future. Finally, I hate the texture feeling on my skin, I feel dirty and sticky and my skin scratches. I don't understand how people can wear spf everyday as casually as if they're putting on moisturiser. Am I the only person with that problem? I tried multiple brands and I can't afford to try more at the moment as it's so expensive.
PS: I really enjoyed that video. Thank you for your hard work!!! Something that has improved my life but that I still struggle to do everyday is to not go on my phone in the morning (except for essentials, messages, alarm etc)
I am using an alarm app that forces me to get up, go to the bathroom and turn the lights on because to turn it off I have to scan a QR code that I placed there. I disabled the snooze button. Very hard first two weeks but after that I do no mind anymore. (app is sleep as Android but I am sure there are plenty)
I leave my phone on the other side of my room so that I *have* to get out of bed to switch it off. I can't just reach over half asleep roll back to snooze!
I hope you like my background lights today 💙💛🥰 - what are some tiny habits you’ve implemented to improve your life? ✨
Omg that alarm is SO jarring! good idea!
This! I did the same! I changed mine to “slow rise” and it’s so gentle i actually wake up happier.
Sick of all this anti aging sh*t. I am pro aging. Please don't do anything just because of some comments, you are perfect!
I agree with the other ideas. :)
I think we’ve all gotten caught up in hustle culture so I’m glad you’re trying to break that cycle. It’s super helpful! 🙏🏽
Sooo caught up! Thanks Khalilah! 🥰
My motto is “my future self will thank me”. It’s how I get anything done.

I’m here for granny early!
For me the price is worth it 👍

I also loved the tip, ask what went well today. So good! Thank you for this video!
I love that this video is not like "7 things I'm perfect at", I love that you are working on them too! It feels like I'm improving with a friend ahah
It was hard at the beginning but it's much better now 🤗
same! i’ve been doing this for years and it has helped a ton. and no scrolling to procrastinate getting out of bed.
I love getting up early and take my time getting ready, much less stress ✨
Love that for you! Lol I’m working on it 😳😊
I love quiet mornings and waking up early… But I was struggling a lot in winter and was starting to have a lot of anxiety from the sound of my alarm! I have added a sunrise simulation alarm - GAME CHANGER! I wake up easily and feeling rested, not startled awake by an alarm. Hope this might help someone else!
Something random that has improved my life is switching everything I use to Dark theme. Honestly my eyes are so relieved.
I recently did this too!
I used to be a chronic sleeping-in-till-the last-minute person. I found that setting my alarm to nice music from spotify (even earlier than my normal get-up time) to get coffee and then sit back in my warm bed has made my mornings delightful.
I can feel how lovely that is!
Me *googling Heather Robertson*
I need to start doing those again!!!

I’m in the same boat with waking up! I have been trying for YEARS to become a morning person, to no avail. Please keep us updated on your progress!
I need at least 20 minutes to fully wake up, and i use the snooze from 5 minutes to 5 minutes until i am ready to get up, but in order not to be late i simply anticipated the time of my first alarm. I need to be up at 7.40, so all considered i place my first alarm at 7.20. For me it works PERFECTLY, i have all the ease to wake up softly
In order to get up in a better mood, i also chose a soft alarm, effective but not aggressive
This is a Mark Wahlberg level morning routine! Good for you! ❤️
@@Christinamychas I actually had to look up Mark Wahlberg’s routine LOL, and thank you! 😊🙏 Now only if I had his net worth 😉
I loveeee that for you! Goals haha
Love that! On cbc radio? I love his voice haha
20 minutes more sleep=helps stress
20 minutes of snooze alarms=adds to stress. I'm not getting extra sleep by hitting the snooze alarm I'm actually losing it.
Wowwwww SO trueeee!!!! Holy crap it is DAWNING on me! ❤️
@@Christinamychas
😂👏my silly pun
To not snooze- don’t have your alarm within reach of your bed. I set mine across the room, so I have to fully get out of bed to shut it off, and then I’m closer to the bathroom and might as well shower at that point, or head down to the kitchen for coffee.
Hello Christina, my tip is a daylight alarm clock, it is a gentle and non-frightening awakening. Helps me a lot. Tfs greetings from cologne
That doesn't mean Im getting out of bed in time 😅 but I wake up feeling energized which is something new
To help with your first habit, Joshua Beckers video on How to be a morning person is 👌
As soon as your alarm goes off 'Feet on the ground, eyes out the window'
Not even done this video & yet this resonates with me a ton!!! Ty for this video Christina!! Sending lots of love xx❤️
I love it Megan! Love right back! 🥰
Is there an alarm clock you like? 🌞
Get yourself a light alarm. This stuff changed my life.
Setting 1 alarm at the latest possible rise time means you don't have a buffer (for unexpected delays) but also, there's no snooze option
Yes definitely wake up with the first alarm. My husband pressed snooze 5 times and it’s so irritating 😠.
Ya I feel you, my voice is still so raspy after 12 days being recovered from Covid. I still feel a bit lethargic but I am taking it slow every day. Take care Christina ❣️❣️. Thank you for the inspiring video as always, I enjoyed your last video too!!!
I try to get up at the same time on weekends as I do in the week. My body hates a change in routine, I feel awful if I change my sleep schedule.
Nice video!
In the morning I am compleately different, I always wakeup before the alarm (each day at 6 am!), also at the weekend I wake up that early, I so much would like to sleep longer, but no way... 😝
However, I'm very active in the morning and it helps a lot to make alle the things that have to be done without stress and at the end I have accepted to be like this and that's ok!
Try it!
You look fabulous!
This video is so relatable through and through! Came to the comment section looking for tips from morning people haha
They’re coming thruuuu! 🌅
If you’re hitting snooze - maybe you really need more sleep! Have you tried an earlier bedtime?
I love your channel! Thanks for the amazing content! Cheers from Portugal!
To wake up and stay up keep your alarm on the other side of the room! It forces you to get up and out of bed to turn it off so then while you’re up might as well stay up
Have you considered a sunrise alarm? It’s such a gentle way to wake up….slowly brightening room….bird song….
I’ll look into it! 🐦
I have Covid right now. I'm glad to hear that you're over it.
Feel better!
@@Christinamychas thank you. It's been rough, but you already know how it is.
Great tips! And also beautifully edited video 🙂
Thank you Christina .
You are beautiful just as you are!
🤗🥰
Read the book “why we sleep” it completely changed my sleep hygiene and I don’t ever hit snooze anymore! (It’s on audible too so you can listen while you’re doing other stuff)
Thank you!!
I m the same in the morning...😂❤️working to solve it...
What helps me to not hit snooze is to put my phone to a further spot in my room so that I have to actually get out of my bed to turn it off :)
I really appreciate all the tips you gave in this video and other! Also, a big fan of your workout outfit in burgundy. Where is it from?
Loved the burgundy as well!
It’s the lululemon align leggings and align tank!
I put my phone further away from my bed, so I need to get up and walk to it to switch off the alarm. And since I'm already up I don't often feel the need to hop back into bed. Hope this helps! ☺
I do this and it really helps. 😊
Not me waking up 3 hours before I have to leave the house because the thought of being rushed is way more stressful than feeling tired and dragging myself out of bed way earlier than I have to be 😅
Drink water first thing upon waking.
Love your vids. Very nice tips.
Love it!
I'm terrible at mornings and just used to turn off alarms in my sleep, now I use an alarm app which only turns off when I scan a QR code on my fridge
Amazing, haven't heard this one before! 😂
I need to know this app immediately 😂
@@Christinamychas it's called Alarmy 😊😂
Put your alarm across the room. Now you're up. Probably not happy about it, but you're up, no snooze
Hi Christina, do you have any suggestions to make AG more palatable. I struggle to drink it with cold water alone. Thanks for this great video.
I like it with ice! def has to be very cold imo!
When my partner doesn't move after her first alarm, my sleep problems self uses a hand to push her towards the edge of the bed. Then she has to get out of bed to avoid falling out of bed.
🤣
You are so beautiful as you are.
Also as an esthetician thanks for telling ppl to wear sunscreen every day 🖤
🥰🥰
I changed my alarm to a Busta Rhymes song. I literally don’t want to relive him yelling at me again so I get up.
LOLLLL Omg I have to know which one
Oh nooo! I totally get it. Some textures are just “ugh”! It seems like it could be a few ingredients your skin doesn’t like, not so much the brands!
