Yeah I think it's a little too raspy on the lower RPMs, as you said if it was in the higher RPM range it wouldn't be too bad. - Hopefully putting a cat back in there fixes it!

yes there is certainly more top end performance even with out a tune
Questions did the car actually feel better/ faster. I've got same car and I was actually thinking of straight pipe and muffler delete but I've never seen a modified exhaust on the same car live so Idk

Hey I’ve been watching a couple of your videos back to back now and I’m thinking of installing something similar . I’ve found a PLM k-series header catted down pipe . I’ve noticed in all your videos you’ve talked about having to install another cat , seeing as this one has one installed, would I still need to purchase a cat ? I’m sorry if this is a stupid question
@@cocotasos2477 I don’t think so if it has a cat then no , one should be enough, it’s just to give a little back pressure and keep it legal, as long as it’s a high flow cat so you still get the performance benifit

I’m purchasing it because the oem cat on my car is going bad and rockauto wanted 690 plus for just the cat not even the hardware so I was going crazy looking and looking and I had just found the header catted down pipe and was like “ that’s two birds with one stone” seriously thank you man . One last question if you don’t mind , did you happen to run into anymore problems with installing it other than it needed to be remodeled for you ? I’m hoping because I’m in the US that I won’t have to deal with that. Thank you once again
you should be sweet to go, if you get that, if the rest of your exhaust is stock it might buzz
did you end up installing a cat in this, how was the rasp. i got an full exhaust swap but was worried it be raspy if i got plm headers.

The European accord is different than the American accord, in the states the euro is sold as the Acura tsx.
Thoughts with this but no mufflers?? Currently runnin no mufflers and its nice but i want more sound and some rasp

Just ordered the skunk2 a few days ago, should be here Thursday and I guess my state just passed a sound law earlier this year and a law you can no longer modify or tamper your exhaust so ig what im doing now is illegal 🤷🏻♂️ but they wont know what they can’t see 👀
Tip from a fellow honda owner: put a cold air intake on for a deeper tone inside the cabin^

I have the US accord 2010 with the same engine and have a short ram Intake - I want to add this downpipe, but I was wondering if not completing the set with a new exhaust muffler would degrade the car more than if I didn't get a downpipe??
A full exhaust will make it loud af, if you check out the next videos in the series I fix it up it sounds stock and makes more power

My Cu2 2011 2.0 auto vehicle. Will there be an increase in engine performance if downpipe is installed? Does only the exhaust sound change?
If you tune it it will make heaps more

no mine was fine, always run a cat mate the cat stops the smell

its a mix of everything the stock set up is heavily restricted by two small giant cats, they are also heavy and the "headifold" where the factory down pipe joins the block is also very narrow

Running a high flow cat and a longer/bigger resonator should help with the rasp
I did try adding a hiflow cat it helped take out around 3% of the rasp, I will add another resonator in the exhaust
@@TURBOTRISTO Yep, with this engine setup, it usually needs two decent resonators or glasspacks to kill the rasp, even without a cat delete. With a fully catless setup, if you don’t have proper resonators, it’s gonna sound a really crappy rice bucket.

Tried getting it installed and all my bolts on the cat are stripped and rusted so probably gonna have to go buy an extraction set next week to try again sadly

I'm thinking of getting an RV6 downpipe for my CU2 as well but I'm not sure if I want to spend more money on adding resonators or have a new exhaust set up. If it still sounds bad with high-flow cat I might just get a reflash with the stock set up.
rian x I was going to get a reflash with it all stock but the tuner said it wouldn’t be worth wile with out the down pipe

Yes it’s legal as long as you run a catalytic converter

Love the videos mate, I'm here in Melbourne to I drive a accord euro cl9. Can I turbo the k24 in it using a walbro 460 with a rising rate reg on the stock tune and ecu, will the missing link map bypass work on a k24? Also can you install the evo injectors without a retune? Cheers Chris.
On a k24 it’s best to remap the stock ecu or go with a go data, I wouldn’t do a missing like or bother with Evo injectors , just swap out everything for good quality parts a cl9 is a great car I wouldn’t do the dodgy on it man
@@TURBOTRISTO thanks mate il speak to some tuning shops around sunshine to see how much remapping would be and i suppose id need a different map sensor. Like a 4bar, what psi would you run on a stock k24. Humble performance say they take them to 500 hp with a k20 oil pump. Thats nuts. Mabey 350? So one last qualification because Im getting ready to order these pieces, the "cat delete pipe " didn't bolt up to the new "downpipe" directly? or are you saying it didn't bolt up to your existing exhaust piping going down the end of the car ? its all explained in the install video the flanges were welded on at a bad angle is all, check the later video of me fixing the bad buzz sound, there are 3 videos on this topic my man

No the original cat doesn’t fit with this down pipe, I tried that

Best to change those mufflers thats the problem. I have the same down pipe ran into the same fitment issue. I'm running 200cell hiflow cat, 02 sensor defouler (straight), stock pipes and the 5x8x14 mufflers pretty sure you can get 5x8x16 or 18 long.

Why not just put the stock secondary cat on and see how it sounds
Would think some glass packed mufflers would get rid of the tinny sound and give a lower note. The sound is just bouncing around the metal baffles in the stock cans.

From what I've been told by a lot of people is that there is no actual performance gain from an exhaust on the cu2 because of the down pipe set up. Keen to see the what it sounds like with the high flow cat though

You can really run any turbo that has a t3 flange as you will need the flow size but it depends on budget and power goals I have done a few videos on how to set up your turbo check them out on the channel, it’s best to message me here because I can help you and you can help me by having lots of comments on my videos
My car is 2010 sedan CP and i guess my car has K24Z3 engine if i’m not wrong. What would you recommend i mean go for ebay turbo kits are they worth? (any suggestions for specific one) or something else as i was searching around on internet there is rotrex supercharger C30 (good for upto 400hp) kit also available online in Australia For $5k they claim My goal is to get between 300-350 HP. Can we get that without any upgrades of internal mods? having down pipe + cold intake and exhaust with turbo can we get that much with stock engine.
@@33Saini you can easily make that power with stock internals I would go the supercharger in that case I have seen byp in Sydney tune them to make around 400hp with low boost supercgarged

yes but I used a Bluetooth obd reader and a free app and cleared the code it hasn't come on since

Kelvin I don’t have a link I’m not even sure Xforce do a bolt on kit I intend to buy the varex mufflers and have a custom system made up though with the remote control valves, to be able to remote control the exhaust sound just google Xforce exhaust it will come up I have used them on all of my cars
