Fun fact: when I first played RB as a kid, I thought Tangela _was_ another trade exclusive. They're so rare that it was easier to just get Crinkles in the Cinnabar Lab.
The reason why Outrage did so much damage is because in Gen 1-3 all Dragon type moves are special, so reflect didn't boost the special defense of your team. It gets confusing for me, too going back and forth between old and new Gen mechanics, especially since almost every dragon move including Outrage became physical.
No offense to chaotic meatball but I think I'm a bigger fan of your commentary. I also agree that there are some strong options for f tier in this list. You should do your own list!
I don't get why Mr mime is on the trash list and hypno isn't. Mime has better base stats, better moves, and is a great psychic type. Plus after you get calm mind from Sabrina, every psychic type can make the late game a joke. Every trainer past Sabrina has a pokemon that you can pretty freely set up against. Mr mime has calm mind + encore to set up, Alakazam has calm mind + recover, and the others have calm mind + hypnosis
I think the reason he put it there is because you have to trade an Abra meaning you don’t get Alakazam. I think this is stupid because Mr Mime is still a fast psychic type with better coverage than Zam and it gets encore (best move for nuzlockes) Literally the only thing Zam has going for it over Mime is the stats.
@@gg41451 yeah, I'm doing playthroughs right now in FireRed for each gen 1 pokemon and Mr mime was great. A set of calm mind, encore, thunderbolt and psychic just tears through the game
Seaking got done so dirty by the way special was split in gen 2. I used one recently in a Blue nuzlocke and it performed perfectly fine with 80 Special, but getting its special dropped to 65 starting gen 2 is so rude. It also doesn't help that Kanto has like, 4 top tier water types in the region and you're basically guaranteed to get at least one, so competition is pretty stiff even if it was decent.
idk if you already got a gazillion comments saying the same but reflect actually wouldn't have done anything to stop outrage, as it's a special move in gen 3
Yeah I didn't realize Dragon was a Special type in Gen 3, assumed it was Physical. We need a Dragon-type Eeveelution so I can remember! Honest answer is it doesn't change how I played it, since Reflect was more for Hyper Beam, but I definitely would have reworded the script, haha.
Oh whoops! Looks like I used footage from a second Safari Zone run, probably just overlooked it because I threw the ball on accident and assumed it was the right clip, haha. But hey, Chansey!
I’m currently attempting a hardcore nuzlocke but the online guide I’m using has Lorelei at a lv 54 cap. But I’m playing on a gb sp, where I don’t have unlimited rare candies. So I’m worried that it’ll be ridiculously tough to beat if I start with the lv 54 cap. I’m not using the F tier Pokemon though, so maybe I’m ok?
Honest answer, if you have regular encounters you're probably fine. But, you can consider using the level cap of either the Champion or last member of the Elite 4. Most Nuzlockers use one of these! May give you a slight edge going in.
Fury Cutter ends if anything stops it. From sleep, fainting, flinching, paralysis, switching out or just by using another move.

He was apearing very comonly on the litle grass patch under palet town when you surf up frome cinabar
This F tier series is one of my favourite challanges! Thanks for the early weekend upload ❤
Fr, such a fun challenge to watch!

Ah, that explains it! I assumed Dragon was a Physical type, should have done my research.
Love your new layout where you show all your encounters

Take that up with ChaoticMeatball, the guy who made the tier list!

As always, very entertaining narration! :D Keeper up the good work 😊
Also probs for the nicknames :D
Another great run with tons of my favorites, surprised some of these are considered “F” tier but oh well. Just means more fun for us lol

Operation drain/slurp had me weezing. Look at Saison go!

These videos are always so fun to watch!
But have you ever used farfetch'd in any situation?
I evolved a Galarian one once.
The fight with Bruno had me in stitches and I'm now seeing what Mr. Mime has to offer, even though I still think it looks ugly.
It took until Mr. Rime for the design to finally pay off.
You should do the elite 4 & champion rematch!
Why did you get away safely against the Rhyhorn in the Safari Zone and catched / used another one ? Against Nuzlocke rules !
Oh whoops! Looks like I used footage from a second Safari Zone run, probably just overlooked it because I threw the ball on accident and assumed it was the right clip, haha. But hey, Chansey!
I hope chaotic meatball rots for putting porygon in f tier
In fairness he isn't the only one, Porygon also rocked in my Platinum run!
@@keeperplays yeah, porygon Z is my #1 favorite
@@keeperplays also seaking is so underrated, same with starmie. Love those guys
Bruno bit caused a silly smile to creep onto my face 😂❤
Love how the naming scheme is beer 😂
I did a similar run in Gold and Silver with the same naming theme.
To beer! The cause of, and solution to, all of life's problems.
hell yeah
I refuse to ever call porygon bad
Good man.
WHERE THE HELL DID YOU GET THOSE RARE CANDIES
Uhhh... Target?

Just what I asked for
