Gawd. Listening to this demo in stereo makes all the difference in the world. Wow.
Its funny because most players will write this pedal off as a novelty, but it's exactly what I've been looking for.
by 8 minutes in I had realized this is the best explanation of the pedal controls on youtube. Seems like it can match any basic digital delay when set on one tap, and then just keep adding new possibilities. Thank you for making it understandable.

Used to work for Eventide..many moons ago building digital delay lines, phasers, omnipressor, etc....so glad it's all available now with plugins ! The H9 is killer ! Best effects and signal processing guys around !

@@Agharta99 By saturated tone, do you mean distortion? Assuming do, the Strymon Riverside is the one I used on this video, and is one of my goto distortion/overdrive pedals.
@@chordsoforion Thanks Bill, I was referring to over-drive. The Riverside looks more user friendly than the Boss OD-200 I am considering, but less flexible and more expensive. There's the trade off. Is most of your over-drive tone from the Riverside rather than an overdriven amp? I suspect so!
@@Agharta99 Correct - I don't even use amps any more. i am using the Strymon iridium amp modeler set to a pretty clean tone.
I just got one today as a lighter and smaller substitute for my Boss DD-20. Got all my presets built and realized there's no pitch modulation on the repeats. But here it seems there's some in the slurm. Is that what I'm hearing? BTW, excellent job as always.
This is fantastic. I've been looking for something thats a little different than a Reverse Reverb (Im assuming this can get very close with the mix knob all the way up and slurm up high) and I think this might very well be it.

Bill, nice demo of the pedal. I see you're playing the ML-3 BEA. Did restringing with heavier strings fix the tuning issues you discussed on the demo? It sounds like it did.
Yes - ditching the ernie balls and moving to D'Addarios did the trick!
Do you think this pedal can be used to create some Holdsworth style delays like the one you created with the Boss DD500?
Hey Glenn - I pulled out the Ultratap and played around with it, and while I go some cool sounds, they are not like the UD-Stomp/Magicstomp style delays that Allan used.

Yeah, I skipped it because the video was getting too long. It's just the output gain adjustment. Nothing too interesting. :-)
Great video. I’ve been looking at one of these. Is it possible to have or emulate dual delay like the dig?
I would say - not really. You might be able to get some of vibe of the dual delay interplay, but it won't be precisely the same.
