Notice the use of Christmas bells, and there’s people who seriously try and deny this is a Christmas film.
For real man. Not to mention Christmas drives the whole plot: McClane is in LA cause its Christmas, Gruber attacks Nakatomi at Christmas cause it would be easier to break in and Takagi would be there.
@@chrisgill261 Gruber is the grinch essentially.
@@wessexfox5197 😂💀
Christmas trees in the movie, people wishing one another a Merry Christmas, the party taking place December 24th, Sgt. Al Powell singing let it snow ❄️
And also the use, later on, of Beethoven's 9th symphony theme in a menacing way. Great use of musical materials from the collective unconscius.
“Come out to the coast, we’ll get together, have a few laughs!”
"Now I know what a TV dinner feels like"
BEST CHRISTMAS MOVIE OF ALL TIME!!!
Amen!
That, and Batman Returns.
i love this soundtrack
@Mine Strap you are right, one of the best
Fucking awesome. That intro when the die hard logo appears is badass.
Chills
You know you’re in for a ride
I'm a die hard Die Hard Fan
I wish there was a longer version.
There is, I have heard it on the radio
Darude made it into a longer version
Man, Kamen really knew how to tell you with his composure:
“Unfortunately…people are going to die on Christmas 🎄”
This almost sounds like a evil version of Santa Clause is Coming to Town.
Best Christmas Song ever :D
I just finished watching ho ho ho
This is so unnearving
You hear those bells jinglin'? That's the sound of a Christmas movie. ;)
The fact the same guy did the music for The Iron Giant is insane!
Welcome to the upload, pal!
Perfection ❤
Merry Christmas
Wishing everyone a merry Christmas, which it isn’t untill Hans Gruber falls from the Nakatomi Plaza
people saying this isn't a Christmas movie are on the level of flat earthers haha
it's amazing to me how bruce willis was the fifth choice to play john mcclane and he absolutely nailed it.
Michael Kamen was the shit

Which movie came out first? Die Hard or Lethal Weapon? Just realized both movies used Xmas bells in the intro. :) Loved both filmss..
Lethal Weapon did. Michael Kamen scored both movies. Die Hard was in production when Lethal Weapon was released, in 1987.

There are those that believe DIE HARD is NOT a Christmas film. Then there are those that are wrong.
Die Hard is a Christmas movie though.
@@ThatGingerCuntFromTerminator2 That's what I said.
@@katey1dog No, you said the opposite
@@counterfeit1148 Yes. I corrected myself.
