To those wondering, this video has been sped up. The solar panels are readjusting themselves to aim at the sun, but it looks like it's 'shaking' because the video is sped up.
In reality the solar panels movement would be barely noticeable, and even the satellite's movement across the Earth would be much slower, though still relatively fast (7.7 km/s fast!)
As someone else here in this comment section mentioned, most satellites have small cameras for engineering purposes as it's relatively cheap and easy to add a few small cameras onto a satellite.
I was thinking this might be AI…thanks for the info!
Thanks, now I totally believe this is a real footage😂
Theres cameras on those things!
Wild!
There's cameras on everything even trees in the park!

Awesome, what a perspective
Elon still having better footage than NASA
@ratatomik what do you expect from a govt agency? They only do the bare minimum. Elon goes above and beyond. When I look back at the space shuttle "program" it is synonymous with big government, the design of it. Huge, insanely heavy, insanely dangerous and risky, and wastes a ton of energy to get it into space.
To be fair, SpaceX have more satellites than NASA in space.
Expand your vocabulary.
@@dyingearth increase NASA budget
@@ChuManhBaothat's what Elon was hoping to do when he founded SpaceX: generate buzz about mars colonisation, get public discourse about space revved up, leading to increased budgets for NASA.
In the end, it took creating a bleeding edge space transportation company to achieve that goal: NASA's budget began increasing when SpaceX started to build up a head of steam.
On the old build of UA-cam this would be a 'featured video' sadly we are now very far removed from classic old UA-cam
Back during old UA-cam a rocket launch would be considered a major special event. Nowadays, "Oh, another Elon rocket? Big deal." It's sad.
We need a starlink sat live stream, that would be the bee's knees
It would be bee's knee's if bee's knee's was a thing again!

Camera on the satellite?? And of course it’s a fish-eye lens!
ive never heard of a comms sat having a cam on board....this is special order to wett everyones appetite for awesomeness that never existed before on this level
Interesting how much the solar panel shakes.
it is not shaking. The video is speed up and the solar panel is adjusting itself. Normaly its at least 10x slower..
wait, the starlink sats have cameras now?!
Likely always have, for diagnostics probably.
@@LordFalconsword Seems to be looking at the solar panel which is pretty important.
Wait, the starlink sats have internet?!
Look a black hole over Washington DC. So that's where all our money is going...
America needs the money hole!
found elons alt
Is that the first imagery of a deployed Starlink?
No. Each sat has cameras, but they are normally only used internally by Starlink and the US, CIA/DIA. Each Sat also operates as a spy sat for the US government.
Flat earthers incoming
I came looking for those comments. 😂🤣
Black holes are real . LoL 😂
You can tell by looking at the solar panels that its a fish eye lens making the earth look curved. The round is just an optical illusion from the fish eye lens.
They must not have found this ... yet. 🤣
@@LV4EVR Why in the hell is the structure bouncing like it's in the wind? I am pretty sure that the Earth, Moon , and Sun are spheres, but I am ALSO pretty sure that 99% of crap they feed us is BULLSHIT! Looks cool, though.

all the starlink have a camara like that!? wow
Why isn’t the shadow ( moving 1k mikes per hour) not moving west to east but stays fixed in place ?
I thought the eclipse 😂 was covering half planet💀 and the other one no cause it’s already night 💀 but that doesn’t make sense but only one hole in only one place 🕳️💀
@@kevinGonzalez-GOD777 that's because everything NASA tells us is Freemasonic science bullshit
I don't know what video you're watching but the eclipse is clearly moving in this one.
the low earth orbit sat is moving at 17000 mph. the moons shadow is moving at around 1800mph - do the math. its just like you in your car passing a slightly-slower truck
Solar panal shakes a lot.
Probably because its traveling so fast! Oh, wait, there's no air in space to cause that! Must be a fake video! Or... the solar panel is actually adjusting its position relative to the sun.😁
wow
Isn't it funny how they can make the earth look round with a fisheye lens? If they'd use a regular lens we would all see the waterfalls at the edges of the flat earth. What baffles me is how the water level in the ocean can stay the same after thousands of years even with all the waterfalls at the edges of the earth. There must be a huge return pump that captures it in space and returns it back to the oceans. Any flat earthers out there that can explain?
They don’t answer sensible or intelligent questions. Questions like how come Australia has a different star sky or how the sun doesn’t constantly turn right in the sky if going round and round and how come the sun looks bigger on sunsets and why their ‘leader’ is not revealed on their website (his back is turned) and their ‘CEO’s has no photo, etc (and over 100 other intelligent questions).
There's just one website? There's a leader? A CEO? I've missed some developments in the Flat Earth psych ward...
um excuse me not to break your stupid belief but the earth is round and has been proven round by several ways from the laws of gravity to even Eratosthenes explanation who calculated the diameter of the earth with 98 percent accuracy. flat earth is just bs
I hear a wizard in the sky replaces the water. His name sounded something like heyzeus
Is this Starshield (not Starlink)?
How do people think modern satellites operate without cameras lol.
All modern sats have cams to observe the panels and other parts of the sat.
It costs them like 0.0001% of the budget to add cameras.
So, do the literal thousands of Starlink sats have cameras? Is that even possible? Also, why is that solar panel arm bouncing around so much? There shouldn't be any resistance like that when you're that high in the atmosphere. Unless it's mechanical adjustments of the panels every few seconds? Someone, please help me out here! lol
that could (depending on what is happening) either momentum still from deployment, a readjustment and residual momentum from that. Or something else that any of us non rocket-scientists wouldn't think of.
The solar panels mechanically adjust so that they always face the sun.
@StrangeScaryNewEngland it is a little shaky because they have to be built as light as possible and if you'll notice, the trusslike scissor extensions that deploy the solar array are just strong enough to do their job. Since there is no friction against air in the vacuum of space, the structure is very light and flexible and the movement you see is due to the flex that happens when the automatic alignment system readjusts the panels to the best possible position for gathering sunlight. I'm sure the speed at which the adjustment is made is not so fast that it would damage the truss beam extensions by over flexing them. Elon's team has it all figured out.
"Unless it's mechanical adjustments of the panels every few seconds?"
The video is sped up considerably so the oscillations from the adjustments are too.
Watch it at the slowest speed(which is still too fast) and you get a more accurate picture of what's happening.
Why is it weird to have a product and each of said product has a camera because it's part of the product? Why would the satellites not be able to all have camera's? 😅
Spooky..
What is that circular black shadow?😮
Edited. Compare it to the official NASA's video. The dark shadow here cannot have such distinct borders plus the choppiness in the video is evident
I like this one because it looks so fake but it’s actually real 😂
Weird, youtube removed this starlink eclipse view from my playlists after i added it. what a joke
Creepy
But is it real though 😂
If this was real speed it would be a decent fraction of the speed of light I guess

It was beautiful. Did you get to record the event too?
@@RabFinebeau Yes but it wasn't very good on the recording. I had the wrong exposure, did not want to mess around with it and miss the actual event.
