In some years, many small distilleries will be closed just because of the celebrities.
I won't buy celebrities cash grabs, they don't care about the little guys!
Since they are demanding more and more the farmers are having to cut the piña earlier and that makes for lower quality tequila.

5:14 those slide are giving these celebs too much credit. That stone crushing is part of the traditional way of making tequila. These mega companies that own the celeb brand tequilas don’t use those methods as they’re slower, and less efficient. They use diffusers and additives which is a big no no for the tequila connoisseurs.
That was just to illustrate the traditional process, not necessarily what goes on at celebrity’s distilleries

Believe it or not Hagar’s tequila is actually top grade stuff. I doubt he had anything to do with it but the tequila itself its really good with critical acclaim by connoisseurs and aficionados.
Also Tequila is called Tequila because of that small region in Jalisco where the blue agave is native from. The first bottles of Tequila where called “Mezcal from Tequila” and over time it was just called Tequila.
So it will be more other ingredients? Additives and other crap? The celebrities bringing out skin care usually All have them made by the same companies and just put thei names to to a generic line to sell it at inflated prices. Is this the case with tequila?
