  • There's clearly a trend, are they really trying to create space tourism? It'll only take one catastrophic failure to crush it. Yet we have 3 private space companies now, Virgin Galactic, Blue Origin and SpaceX. Get your tickets now!

I'm no Musk fanboy, but the rockets his engineers designed cost far less to operate than his competitors. Claimed $50 million for the next Starlink launch; Starliner is launching on an Atlas, they bill those for $110 million per launch, conservatively.
Starliner is ULA (Boeing and Lockheed), Starliner is Boeing. These mainstays haven't managed an unmanned docking, Dragon Cre Capsule is doing automated donuts, literally; it recently changed docking ports to make room, with out the use of the Canadarm.

200 metric tons of carbon is a LOT!
Wait till this guy sees how many metric tons the avg US citizen uses a year in its carbon footprint, or how many metric tons of Co2 a half tank of a 747 burns.
    Big yikes

Blue Origins long term goal is to move heavy industry from Earth and into space, whether that is achievable is another thing but new Shepard is a revenue stream for them for the development of other projects.
I'm excited with all the space developments we're seeing with SLS, StarShip, New Glenn, RocketLab etc.
