    Great to know that it’s Wireless. Will definitely try. Have had lot of problems with NSAID usage for Chronic Back Pain

    No idea why they have not released a wireless TENS before now! Good video. helpful for many people. Long overdue! PS: Not bad "gams", Brad. ;) Your workouts have paid off.

      Dennis Tesdell probably took forever to get it here. I’m on my 2nd spinal cord stimulator (1st still in spinal canal-dead) 2nd-only 3 of 16(I think) electrodes are working. Use to have new battery surgery every 7-9 months, now recharge thru skin. Use to recharge every 3 months now every week. Just can’t get it right. Recharge often cause new battery has bells and whistles I don’t even use because battery sucks. Medtronics on my 2nd 10 year battery. Yes long time patient ‘92

      Dennis Tesdell btw the 1st one was the best ever for pain relief! Hands down

    I bought an Aleve brand one at Walmart last summer, and used it on my lower back. It felt like pins and needles when I tried it, and kind of stinged. I didn't like it. Though I don't tolerate pain medications very well, so I guess the tens is a better temporary option. Next week I'm heading to the Laser Spine Institute in Tampa FL to see what they can do for my lower back issues. P.T. didn't help, Chiropractors didn't help, Spinal epidural didn't help either. MRI diagnosed my problem as spinal stenosis, and I have pain when standing and walking in my both my lower legs, plus occasional back pain. It's a pain getting older!!

    Great video! I'm used to a tens unit that enables me to put one "pod" on the lefts side of my spine & the other "pod" on the right side of my spine. Would that be possible with this unit?

    Hi Bob and Brad, lumbar fusion plus Osteitis condensans ilii: do you have any recommendations for exercises. Life has been made even more rough for the last month. Could you suggest some exercises?

  • @MayorBier

    I know TENS is purely for pain relief, but can you use EMS to rehabilitate the lower back? I am more interested in healing & recovery rather than just masking the pain.

    I have successfully avoided drugs by using my TENS unit for the past 15 years for chronic back pain due to an auto accident. It literally made the difference between for me being able to go to work or staying home in bed. During that time there has been no significant Improvement in the device so Wireless is definitely something I'd be interested in looking at. The two-in-one tens and EMS would be great for me because I use a separate EMS device. But can you lay on it?

    • @BobandBrad
      @BobandBrad  5 років тому +2

      Yes you can lay on them or sit back against them in a seat.

    How does this compare to wired units? I tried a wireless one. Made sure it was fully charged and it wasnt as strong as my 9V wired unit. Even when maxed out and tried different modes

    Glad you posted this. I’m considering getting a wireless TENS + EMS unit and found Compex to be used by many physiotherapist. Why do you recommend this brand in particular and based on your experience, do you think TENS & EMS units are best when wired rather than the new wireless ones?

    • @ericrubin5052
      @ericrubin5052 5 років тому

      Compex is twice the price. More actually.

    You should try a 5G emitter strapped to a leg. Imagine the massive amount of therapeutic irradiation churning through the muscles plus great wifi and cell coverage for those around you.

    I don’t have a wireless unit been using tens over 25 years but I use it almost 24/7 and burn my back. I guess after all these years i shut it off and pain is there immediately.
    My skin is a mess due to tens.
    But can’t take pain meds so my back gets sores

    I have a ManaFlexx2 looks like a watch, which has adhesive on both sides. Placed on your lower back. It has two Modes 1 and 2, not explained on the instruction manual... I call this device, "Old Sparky" it has 19.. 19 Levels of intensity. Unfortunately for me, most of my pain is in my left hip, BUT I have a Total hip replacement and the TENS in the past, caused me more pain.. Level 8 is intense.
    My question is what is mode 1 and 2? What is 1 for and 2?

    HELP!
    lol
    It's been working fine..
    And out of the blue it gives 2 long beeps and 3 or 4 short ones. But doesnt work.
    SUPER weird.
    Nothing happened to it.
    Its charged.
    I used it through one 20 min session. Went to move it and turn on again and now it just does this.
    Any help would rock.
    I've spent a lot of time this evening going through the manuals, online resources, etc.
    Nothing tells the beep codes.
    :-(

    What holds the TENS pad to your skin? Is it a form of sticky adhesive, like on a band-aid/plaster or say a heart monitor sticky pad? I ask because it turns out I'm allergic to adhesives. Really hard to get information on this so far.

    • @BobandBrad
      @BobandBrad  5 років тому

      @@BobandBrad Thank you, gents. Very helpful. I would definitely want to try the pad 1st. In office, the physio used a machine with damp sponges that transmitted the electrical stimulus for some knee rehab. Pretty nifty. Probably not home use friendly! 😁

    I think we`re better off without the tall guy. He starts off by saying "It can treat 2 locations OR MORE" and goes on to say we`ll see more about that later. In fact he doesn`t talk about that later so we`ll never know from him how many Channels can be treated at the same session, is it 2 or is it more. This dude constantly intereupts the other guy with useless comments and I think he should stay away from presentations and let the short guy get on with it.
