    Nice video Mark. Very informative! As a novice I would like to see some more tips on the grill set up. Vent settings etc. BUT....KEEP GRILLING AND I'LL KEEP WATCHING!

      For now on I will include where I have the vents set, and anything else I do that is out of the norm. Thanks for the input and for watching.

    Good video. First Beer Can Chicken video with the Weber Cast Cooker. I love them, they collect all the grease. The plug is very important as it keeps the steam in. Weber recommends using vegetable oil or other oil to keep it from getting stuck.
    Thanks, I Hope To See More Of Your Vids, Chuck.

    It’s awesome to see how many people enjoy Yuengling! I remember getting it over 20 years ago and no one really knew what it was. It was inexpensive and tasted amazing. Now it’s very popular and I am sure it’s being sold outside of the state of Pennsylvania. By the way your chicken looked awesome!

    • @PapaMark

      Thanks. We have been able to get Yuengling in Ohio for a few years now, but I would make the run for the boarder (5 minutes away) to get a few cases. It's been my favorite for a long time.

      I'm sure it'd work just as good on your Spirit 210. Just like making Beer Bread.
      I like it a lot more than the wire ones. All the JuJu stays in the roaster and not all over the inside of the grill.

    That’s a good looking bird! Hey I’m curious about your side cart. What is it and where did you get it? Looks like it might be a tool cart. Keep cooking!

    • @PapaMark
      @PapaMark  4 роки тому +2

      Thanks. The side cart came from Sam's Club about 10 years ago. It's like a tool cart, but has a wood top. It comes in very handy for sure.

    what are the positions for the vents please. I set mine all open and after a while lose heat. thank you

    • @PapaMark
      @PapaMark  4 роки тому +1

      Once I have the coals lit I close the bottom vent to about a quarter open, and I usually keep the top vent all the way open. After about an hour you may need to add a few (maybe 12) unlit coals to both sides. I use the Weber chimney starter and heap it over the top.
      I hope this helps.

      It's made of metal. I think the black cap for the chicken's neck is porcelain coated metal too.

    Did all the beer evaporated out of the can using the indirect heat method…

    • @PapaMark
      @PapaMark  3 роки тому

      No, not at all. Even with the small amount of beer that goes in the Weber chicken holder there was still a lot of beer left over at the end.
