My 2023 was full of ups and downs by the end. Trigger warning,...... My mom passed in June. My grandma passed away in November. I'm just so thankful for the start of 2024.❤
A have heard that most people had a bad 2023, but my husband and I had a great 2023. I don’t see how 2024 could top it actually. And since you asked, we had a fantastic Christmas!
2024 is going to be an excellent year, I just feel it! Balance is my word of the year and I have so many goals with balance at their core -- balance more screen and reading time, find balance in diet and exercise. Having a low spend year is high on my priority list! I can't commit to a full no spend like I'm seeing soo many people do for 2024 but I'm giving myself a monthly allowance and hoping I stick to it
My 2023 was very mixed actually. From completely breaking down at work to finding happiness again, finally starting my engine swap, driving it for 6 months or so and putting it back in the box due to engine problems.. Being so incredibly poor I couldn't afford gas and having to go by bicycle after not being used to do it anymore, to living a bit again and hopefully never seeing my bike for that reason again. It also was the year I started my own "business", not with any succes till this day. But we keep fighting! And the start of 2024 is just marvelous, not. I literally got a sore throat December 31, slept terrible that night, felt okay after "sleeping", had quite a good day until the evening, felt like getting sick, had a lot of backpain, went home, couldn't sleep again(!), got my ass out of bed for work, had an okay first day at work in the new year, came home from work feeling pretty ill, went to bed early, couldn't sleep the whole night (fcking again!!), woke up this morning noticing I didn't smell anything, did a test and tested positive on covid. My tea tastes like rubbish, my food tastes like rubbish, what a way to start the new year..🙄

Gretchen, there is a testosterone blocker called spironolactone. It is also a diuretic used for other purposes like hormonal acne for women. It can be a miracle worker. Most of the time it is prescribed along with birth control due to the way the higher doses mess with your period. If you can talk a doctor into prescribing a dose under 100 mg, and no birth control, your period could be left unaffected. Just a thought.
