Just want to say, thank you so much for being honest and open about everything you’ve been going through. I love your content, no matter what it is!! Also, I agree with taking a break from social media.. I had instagram at one point but felt glued to it for years. I decided to actually delete it awhile back when I had my kid and honestly I don’t miss having it. It’s freeing to not have to post multiple times a day or worry about having likes. I have a family now and my time is better spent with my kid. 🖤

Congrats on starting this new journey! As many here I found you through piercing content, and I’m going to start a piercing certification class this year even. From watching so much piercing content for years I’ve decided that’s what I love and would like to do. 😂 And I’m here to stay for where ever you take this channel next. 😄
I started watching you for piercings back in 2019 when I was sedentary with a torn ACL….have rewatched some of your old stuff a few times. The one where you tried to change your daith and had to call your mom. I have been on verge of tears trying to change piercings before so can totally relate! Keep being you! ❤
Just got a couple of nose piercings and was looking for aftercare advice and and noticed makeup eyeshadow colors. I love to see bold colors used even though idk how to put makeup on lol but I love the accent (sounds southern and northern at the same time) and listening to her voice is so natural ❣️
I adore your content! You're vlogs (and sit down videos) are a happy place for me and I'm sure many others. I know you said that you feel as if you don't do much, or you're worried its not going to be exciting content, but personally, I like vlogs like that the best. I love seeing what people do on a day to day basis, whether it's going grocery shopping, reading a book, cleaning or cooking, maybe it's a little repetitive. It's things I can relate to.
Also as an all or nothing girly with self esteem issues, something I've started doing to help me feel better when I don't have the energy to do a full face but am also feeling not that confident in my own skin, is stick to the basics (for me) and focus just on the parts I want enhanced; "natural" false lashes, eyebrows, lip gloss or tint, blush, and then bronzer around the forehead because I have a five-head with a hairline that thinks it's being evicted. Maybe a little spot concealer treatment on my under eye bags and pimplies if they're bothering me. It's hard finding a happy, healthy medium when your brain can only go all in or nothing at all but I hope that helps! Fyi, I think you're a beautiful human being with or without makeup but you should do what feels good to YOU
Forgot to mention I'll put on some powder to reduce the shine.... I'm a sweaty lady and skin care makes me look like a drowned rat

Ah I love your videos. I discovered you because I was getting piercings but stuck around because I like watching you. You always look fabulous and are such a nice person. I get what you mean about maintaining red hair though. I have it and it's a pain in the ass 🙂
Red hair is so fun, but keeping up with it is definitely not. 😂😭
I love the look. I find black, blue, purple and fuchsia are my most flattering hair colours.. I do plan to go back black one day. One day because I shaved my head and now feel free as a bird.

I came because i was having trouble with a pericing and searched and you popped up but I stayed because of you and who you are! I watch everything you put here! I don't have tictok! I have UA-cam and IG and Facebook but i never get on Facebook or IG much. Anywho! Girl your beautiful and i love the makeup look! I love your vlogs! I love all your content. I love your content, Gretchen. Whether it's vlogs, GRWM, sit and chat style, etc. I love how much you read. I'm an aspiring writer, and hearing your opinion on books and what you do and don't enjoy is actually helpful. It always feels like checking in with a friend when you post. My only suggestion is more Luke content if possible. My family and I love seeing him too. Your dynamic together is adorable. Unless Luke doesnt want to be on camera anymore than he has to for his vidoes and streams. I respect that. It's just nice to see him in a different context sometimes.
I first found you when I wanted to know how to clean my peircings properly, and I'm so glad to have come along with you on your journey. Going back and watching your weight loss videos helped me with my own struggles with weight. I have lost 60lbs since January of 2023 and I am not planning on stopping until I have the healthy lifestyle I want. I am feeling so much better already.
Also, If I was more into Dead By Daylight, I would be in your Twitch audience more often too.

I feel so sorry for how you feel..❤ I've always enjoyed your videos, wether it was piercing related or not. I genuinely like your personality and I love love love watching your videos. About the acne and hormonal stuff, I've started using essential oils since last year. I only use dōTERRA essential oils, but grapefruit can help regulate your hormones. Tea tree can help with acne problems. Stay strong Gretchen, you are a beautiful person❤

Giiirl, don’t chop the hair. Love it long. Also, I think what’s important for me when I come onto UA-cam as a consumer, is in long form videos the creator gets to be themselves, and let their personalities shine through. Short form videos just don’t have that same liveliness. I’ve been here for a loong time and honestly I’m here for the ride and excited to see what you post regardless of the type of content

I wonder if the lack of red hair means less obviously appealing to the alternative scene? I have loads of piercings and purple or red hair, but went natural for a few years. Everyone thought I was a chav (uk) for the years I had natural hair 😅.
All this time talking about consistency, and you have a sign saying "Consistency over perfection". I think your content is great and most people enjoy making content about the things they like and not what sells. And you have a cool back up business so I think you should enjoy what you do, without expecting much from the audience. I know for content creators views are their livelihood, but don't think about it as your worth. You are awesome. I know the internet in general is hard with mean people and what they might say or think, but that's up to them and their conscious is they don't have anything nice to say. I appreciate the honesty. 🙂 I mention in the video why I won't be going back to red for now - the maintenance is too much for me right now, plus it costs too much money to get it professionally done. Just isn't feasible for my lifestyle at the moment.

I’m so sorry you’ve had a rough time lately! I will say, I am about the same age as you I think and I had a terrible time with hormonal acne for a couple of years and went to the dermatologist FED UP and it helped so much. I ended up on spironolactone (DID NOT want to take meds for acne but it got to the point where I was so depressed I didn’t want to leave my house) and it worked wonders for me! It took a while to clear up but it was life changing once it did. Acne sucks and it really affected my confidence, too.
