The MDA Labor Day Telethon was an enchanting yearly variety show that ran for half a century. Hosted for many years by Jerry Lewis, the telethon featured top stars from the world of music, comedy, and Broadway and was like no other show on earth.

So pleased I was given the chance a few years ago, when he toured in the UK at 80, to see Jack Jones. A great entertaining talent, RIP.

I remember watching this performance live back in 1993. What a performance! Jack is truly one of the greatest singers of our time -- or any other.

Saddened to learn of the passing of JACK JONES ! Only Johnny Mathis and Engelbert Humperdinck are left from this time period ! Steve Lawrence passed away about a half a year ago. Jack Jones still had a good voice until the end ! Farewell Jack . . .
