Epic performances like these are gone. Absolutely loved this. Jack is the real deal, and doesn't get enough credit for his vocal talent in my opinion. He may not have Sinatra charisma, but sure does have a voice filled with class and elegance of a by gone Era, better than most. Wonderful orchestra backing him too. Also a lost, and missed entity.
Didn't realize he died. Phenomenal talent, God rest his soul; I am deeply saddened. In such a short span of time he and Steve Lawrence, the last of the great crooners of my time - gone.
Jack Jones is the greatest singer ever!!! Sinatra himself said so!!! Jack is 84 now and cut a new album a few months back called “Every other day I have the blues “!! He is also doing gigs in clubs in Palm Springs!!! He will always be the greatest and I will always love 💕 him!!!
I can remember being quite young in the mid sixties and I was mesmerized by first this man's appearance and also by his grace and class. What a terrific voice. Total package here. My first fan crush I believe. Even before Paul McCartney😅
Beautifully sung..... I grew up hearing him do the theme for The Love Boat but am now discovering just how talented a singer he really is.....He can really reach your soul with his voice. ❤
A truly powerful " powerhouse " performance by Mr Jack Jones ! Always loved him enough to have seen him twice in NYC at the " ballroom " and the" rainbow 🌈 and Stars 🤩 cabaret " ! A most gracious Guy whom I have met and has one of the best renditions of this great song and really" nails "it and delivers the" goods " on MDA !
0:12 What a beautiful 😍 song and an amazing 🥲 singer you are Jack Jones. You sang to me when I was 13 at The Fairmont Hotel. Thank you. I still enjoy 😊 your beautiful music.🤗❤️
Almost certainly the most talented pop singer of his era. Thank you for uploading this outstanding performance. Please post more of his MDA performances as you have the time. Thank you.
This is from A Chorus Line and is NOT a 'romantic' song.... it is about the brutal sacrifices dancers and other performers make out of love for their art.
This is fine but his album of Michel LeGrand's work is more indicative of his gifts, for vulnerability, skill, range, breath control and the nuances of color in his performances. New London performance and Edmonton are good ones to watch.
So pleased I was given the chance a few years ago, when he toured in the UK at 80, to see Jack Jones. A great entertaining talent, RIP.
Out of the ballpark and beyond. 'The gift was ours to borrow" -- So sums up my youth -- the 70s and beyond.

Yes. Well said. This is sad end of a great musical era. RIP Jack
Frank Sinatra said Jack was a better singer than him.

RIP Jack. My brother adopted me as a black child. He played this song on a reel to reel to comfort me. In my head for years. Thank you, Jack
He looked so handsome in this video. Great singer.

Singer of songs made sound easy
This is from A Chorus Line and is NOT a 'romantic' song.... it is about the brutal sacrifices dancers and other performers make out of love for their art.
Great singer and perfomnce do you have footage of wayne newton from the 70s
No longer have Frank, Lou Ross, Barry White and of course Jack. What a shame. RIP Jack & these greats.
It's OCTOBER 25, 2024❤

Jack Jones was Frank Sinatra's favorite singer.
Real singer. No artifice.
As he get older he's a little less 'hip' and can end a song with a knock 'em dead' long pure note just like his dad Allan was famous for.
I've actually never seen him sing always just recordings.
He aged like spoiled milk
He's 87 fgs
