When people ask me about what classic Fallout do I prefer I'm always in doubt, 'cause Fallout 2 was really good with lots of enhancements from the first game, with a good storyline and filled with great characters but was at some points ridiculously difficult and frustrating in a very cheap way.
If memory serves me right there were supposed to be a good ending for the V13 talking death claws, but the devs kept it unreleased, it's still there in the files though. I think Killap's restoration project enables it. Also, oh wow, talk about unforeseen consequences. Never noticed that helping Wrights (i.e. the only "good" family of New Reno) unleashes war on New Reno.
@MEME GOD Well you have a point there but if you compare Fallout 2 today standard you will run on some issues such as 1. Not Noob Friendly 2. Complicated Mechanics
Guys can anyone explain why did the ending with the Arroyo elder not show up in the game? Completed it yesterday but the slide with the Elder didn't show up at all, what can this mean?
Now that I think about it. The Courier could be a very distant relative of The Vault Dweller and The Chosen One.

The first Half life had better graphics! The doom arcade games had better graphics and taught you how to play!

Ugh, this game looks amazing. I wish I could play it, but I'm stuck with fallout 4, 3 and NV.

jokrz New Vegas is pretty good. It feels more like a sequel to Fallout 2 than 3 or 4.
The soundtrack is amazing. It creates this fantastic atmosphere that 3 and 4 lack. In NV they at least took a couple of tracks from the original.

granite does not give me the option to speak with him... is my game bugged? he just gives me the generic "text above head" npc lines
I know this is kinda late response, but it dialogue options depend on your speech skill, you need high speech to convince him to join you.

I killed the tanker vagrants and almost every NPC, in fact the first time I played I killed everyone in Arroyo, had to restart though
