It's the playoff committee fault that TCU got spanked they should have never been in that game when they lost to K-State. TCU had a month to prepare for a Michigan team that talked all year about wanting GA again after the Orange bowl game so Michigan was looking ahead. When it came to a week preparing for the GA team they couldn't do it. No matter how you look at it TCU was going to get the whopping they got. TCU going against a power 5 team with more 5 stars just on 9ne side of the ball than TCU had on their whole team.
Whose saying this? Herbstreit disrespecting UGA now in 2023 off-season going “all in” on Bama - which is ridiculous. Bama has worse team going into season than 2022 and UGA has better team. Herbstreit pissed because UGA beat his Buckeyes
Staying at the top is not harder in College Football than getting to the top. There hasn't been a first time National Champion since Florida in 1996, and dynasties happen in college football more than probably any other sport despite there being way more teams.
I don’t know why they don’t play the Georgia bulldogs vs TCU championship game is it because TCU got embarrassed I would love to watch it they play every championship game every year except this one
I love how Kirk's trying to downplay TCU's achievements by rambling about how they "needed some breaks" to win games and beat Michigan. Georgia needed some breaks to make the national title game, too. Georgia got in because they were among the best teams in the country. TCU got in because they were also one of the best teams in the country. The fact that no one saw them that way to start the year means nothing. They made the title game because they were simply that good. Georgia was just better. That's more than can be said for more highly regarded teams that year. Including one of Kirk's favorites (Bama), a team who beat no one in 2022 and still felt entitled to a playoff bid.
