Dedicated vlogs of the trip! Seth will always be able to look back at them and remember a trip of a lifetime with his dad.
That’s why one should wear safety glasses when using a saw or grinding tools
When testing a microwave please always ensure there is something in the microwave to absorb the energy, otherwise it can damage it and render it useless
You beat me to it!
True. My husband found that out.
A lot of people don’t realize it but you have to check the grinding/cutting disc and make sure the RPM’s are rated for the grinder you’re using. If the grinder has a higher RPM rating than the disc it can break apart. Always wear gloves and a face shield.
You should put a footer on each side of the sewer pipe and then triple the joists going between them to make a short header to set your post on. It’s a short span and preserves the aesthetics of your porch. The extra joists will be hidden behind the front one.
If you have not already done so, you should be maintaining a plat plan of the property around the house. This is important as it can measure and have locations of all utility lines and distances on and around the house. Having this would have eliminated the problem of a post base measured onto a sewer line. It is good to see some progress again....
With the churches I built in Costa Rica, all our cement work was by hand. I discovered the cement mixes much better if you put the water in first! We also pre-measured our ingredients (sand & gravel) in wooden boxes , water in buckets.
Dedicated vlog of the Alaska trip sounds nice. The scenery alone is awesome to watch. I follow several bike vlogers just for the scenery. Sounds like a nice trip for you and Seth.
Dedicated for sure
Take the string and make a loop around your finger…with that finger turn so you twist the string about six or eight times then transfer the string from your finger to your nail…when you tighten pull the string tight with one hand and at the same time pull the slack out with your other hand…then wua la
As an adventure bike rider myself, dedicated video / whole series please :) I / we would love to see it !
A Home Depot bucket makes a nice quick cover for the Sonotubes.
Once concrete has 'set', getting it wet will result in stronger concrete
pull string tight , then 3 or 4 turns around nail and hook string over the top it will lock it in place. Pull opposite direction to release. 🙂
Very nice homestead, would it be an idea put Fire precautions on the property.
There's a pic from West America showing a property survived forest fire because they left the sprinklers on. There were sprinklers on the roofs - be a pity loose the lot all at once.
Cheers from 🏴
The string trick is probably similar to what they use to tie off in cave-diving: Around the object, then the loose string (spool) under and over the taut line...
Where is safety Sally when you need her.
It would be great if you could vlog your adventures in Alaska. All the best!
You can repurpose the back door stairs at you root caller entrance and make a conseled opening in your porch.
You do not need to pour those footings in solid concrete. You can drop in rocks to fill out the bulk material. You should just build a 2x4 square to measure the foundation squareness.
Hi, dedicated vlogs are my choice. You have great videos! watching you for about 2 years now! You are incredibly good at it!
I guess Seth will be the valedictorian and the salutatorian as well. Congrats, Seth.
Exactly! Thank you! 😊
Absolutely vlog the Alaska trip! What a treat!
You could cut the tubes on a table saw and eliminate at least 50% of the measurement marks.
Another tip, if your slide out is powered by Schwintek motors and has worm tracks, always run all the way out or in without stopping as there is a motor on each side to avoid getting them out of sync.
Marty, I've used power tools all my adult life and am very comfortable using them except for those 10K to 24K rpm grinders. I always visualize that thin disk flying apart.
Would love to see a dedicated videos of the trip
You both are pretty cavalier about eye and thigh safety. All it takes is one nanosecond for a lifetime of regret.
Yes please, dedicated videos of the Alaska trip!!!!
Blogging would be great for the Alaska trip.
Dedicated episode for your bike trip to Alaska for sure! Like to hear what mods you have done to the KLRs also.
If u pull the string from one point to the other, wrap it around the post u want it to go to & pull the long tight string back over the loose string u are holding and thetre is no need to cut it and it will not slip. U can do this method from one place to another and never cut the string ever again.
I’ve yous ever considered building an open deck on the south side where you can sit and entertain also you could then join both covered decks and have a large entertainment area, you could also remove the pair of windows on the south facing side and fit a pair of French doors that would give you access to your decking area
Would love some Alaska vlogs, and if you can see any Northern Lights that would be amazing!
Howdy Johnsons! Would love to see dedicated videos of Marty’s and Seth’s Alaskan trip.
4:05 clove hitch
Safety Sally must've been on a roadtrip to Alaska of her own...😂😅 With the new porch addition, will you have emergency exit/entrance to the root cellar? Love what ya'll are doing 😊
Waah Pak Martin tiba² muncul di beranda. Sudah lama tidak nonton channel nya sudah 400 ribuan subscriber dengan pasar yang berbeda. Itu sangat tidak mudah. Bravo 👏👏👏
I'd love to see some dedicated Alaska road trip vids
Jules is correct.....
Jules was correct..... "And a half inch" 👍😎
DEDICATED VIDEOS WOULD BE AWESOME. Especially of Alaska!!
Of course you should show several videos dedicated to the Alaska trip
36.1/2 inches
Good work Johnson's. 23 and 1/2 inch. I would say 59.7 centimetres.
Me and the boys would love to come to the graduation. BTW, my youngest is in the Real Life Ministry performance of Joseph and the Multicolored Dream Coat in Post Falls, if you wanna come see.
Side note… I’m in the middle of my camper inverter/converter project. It’s 3000 watts with 2 100ah lithium batteries. Going out for a test run this weekend. It runs my AC also.
23 and a half inch
Advice, I think I'm right microwaves should not be run empty. Nothing to absorb the energy.
Clips thrown in. ❤
You should put a mug of water in the microwave when you want to see if it’s working. You could damage it
Amen to the Coffee! Gotta have coffee…
Yes please vlog the Alaska bike trip!….
Twenty three and a half inches! Simples - avoid any ambiguity.
Everything looks great. I think we still have a few more graduations
Yes, yes, yes. Do both but more importantly, goof off!
The upside down marking paint doesn't leak.... as bad, you don't even have to bend over
Need an auger on your tracktor
You should check the plate that holds the jockey wheel on the trailer is very loose. look about 15:49 and you will see if moves when you were scrwing it up.
Three feet and half an inch. Makes for less confusion.
Get up on the roof and check it out for damage. Renew sealant and or replace.
Martin I see the dishwasher works fine!
Nice😊
Yes film as much of Alaska trip
Did you notice trailer jack coming loose, when taking off trailer
Clips of trip
Actually, 30:48 it would be .4 inchs inches are divided by eighth so .4.
we always put BOUNCE dryer sheets all over in the rv when we store it. makes it smell nice and keeps the mice and bugs out of it.
Never underestimate a woman till you get up out of the floor and see that iron skillet in her hand
Please do a dedicated story/clip on your travels to Alaska. Thank you for a nice episode!
...& haha when you hit the trip don't forget your grow what, a microwave, AC unit, a hair dryer and a circular saw...
597mm is 23 1/2 inches in Ireland 🇮🇪
Check out Micro-soft start for your rv ac unit. This cut the start lock run amp in half when ac unit starts up
Dedicated vlogs would be cool.
You must have slow kettles over there, ours are 3000watts at 240 volts, that would be 6000 watts at 110volts.
Yes, Vlog the trip - dedicated! That would be super!
Do all measurements in inches that reduces confusion
Ouch that grinding wheel is so close to that knee, where is Sally safety?.... Knees and hands not for sale in supermarkets
Vlog's would be very cool.
Safety glasses and leather gloves are a small price to pay compared to losing an eye…. Growatt looks cool!
And a wheel guard needs put back on that angle grinder it may of saved you from that cut up finger. Plus you both need to be a bit more safety aware! I was glad to see Juls tie up her hair and tuck it down her shirt then wear a cap but replacing the disc guard and wearing safety face shield or min safety glasses and a pair of Kevlar gloves would have been nice and wouldn’t like to see that pretty face of yours all cut up my brother in law had a disc break apart and like you had no safety gear on a part of the disc just missed his jugular vein by the thickness of the blade 2mm so less than 1/8of an inch and he’d of bled out in minutes as it was he grabbed a bath towel and pressed it to his neck and got driven to the A&E at the hospital and then the doctor had to pry the towel away as he wouldn’t let go of it from his neck in case he’d caught the jugular. 😢
Dedicated
Thanks for the video. Question: what are those bags that collect the water.
I may have missed it, if I have I’m sorry. What are those things you used to absorb the moisture from the air? That is such a great idea. I need them. Can you tell me what they are?
It looks like Must Wear Plaid Day. and that's ok yeah man
😉
Doing ground mounts for solar with Sonotubes. Video was timely for me! At least you had Tux. Watts and Ray helping youze twoze...
BTW, what did you use to mark the line to cut Sonotubes? String, flexible tape measure?
Nevermind... I found something that worked. Y'all are purdy busy!
Like tying a fishing hook twist 5 times n then Loop it around
Enjoyed the video. Thanks for sharing
I would say 1/2 inch over 3 feet. Love what you are doing. Love from England.
23 and a half inches.
Are u going to take ferry to Skagway or ride thru Canada? Did it in a rv 2015. Get the mile post and plot your trip. Blog on the way. If you drive stop at laird hot springs. Watch out for moose and don’t feed the brown bears .
Dedicated adventure vlog
23 and a half inches
I think I would say 23.5 inches. Your camper is so nice, very clean cozy. ❤
I'd say 59.7 centimetres.
@@manolisgledsodakis873I’d reply ”sad“😂😂😂😂😂
Half hitch on the string.
Do dedicated videos and just name them appropriately. That way us regulars get some variety in them while the folks only interested in building can choose not to watch.
Instead of calling it "The Wasteland", call it "The Far 40"
Make some dedicated videos of your Alaska trip.. I hope to do a similar trip with my son (12 at the moment) at some point in the future.. Would love to see your experience..
ALASKA TRIP VLOG? HECK YEAH. JOHNSON INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL FOR EXCELLENCE. I LIKE IT
