The sound kind of reminded me of the Vox suppressor with a wipe, very cool I love it, I have to quit watching these vids there is a never ending of stuff I have to get, DAMN IT
Being 2024, would you say this is still the best bang for your buck? You seemed very pleased with it. Looking to get my first and want to make sure it’s a good one! Thanks
Great, thanks for the info. My barrel has a rather ludicrous twist rate and will stabilize anything that will fit in a .300Blk case. This is looking like a good replacement for the OSS 7.62 that's on there.
You can order direct from CGS if there are still any left in stock. Make the call. The website is being renovated and should not be used for correct information yet.
Question, in your video you said Gold level Patreon members get 50% off CGS group, but on the patreon website it says only 10%. Is the 50% off no longer a thing?
Just get a 45 so you can shoot anything. The Hybrid is a heavy pistol can but you can shoot anything through it. The Rugged, Dead Air, AAC and I think Q all have adjustable size cans avalible for pistol. User servicable is nice if you want to shoot heavy lead bullets. Wipes were nice until the ATF said they were suppressor parts so dont ever get a gun that has to have wipes. If you get a wipe never use it.
Because it's significantly quieter and stronger and made of billet titanium and welded properly so it maintains strength. Basically better in every way, maybe ~.5oz heavier and .6" longer though. The Hyperion was made be within the same length envelope as the AAC Cyclone, SIG SRD762Ti, TBAC Ultra 9, etc.
@@TinkerTailorSoldier1 Partially correct. Welded titanium, when welded properly to the correct AWS standard, is supposed to be silver in color and at most a light straw color. Green, blue, purple, ashy, etc are all signs of oxidation within the weld joint, meaning that during welding the weld pool is exposed to atmosphere and embrittled with oxygen, nitrogen, and hydrogen which makes it comparatively very weak because they don't have proper argon/helium gas shielding prior to the joint cooling below ~800 deg F. Color on the outside after welding is a tell tale sign that it wasn't done properly at all and has a very high likelihood of embrittlement and weakness within the weld joint. And unless they changed their manufacturing process, their baffles are metal injection molded titanium. The Hyperion is completely machined out of billet grade 5 titanium barstock and is stronger not only in weld joints and baffle manufacturing process, but also structurally by design.
@@klajoye481 Which features? Tubeless silencers have been done since 2005 by Ase Utra and companies have been making wider than 1.5" silencers for decades. The Hyperion is 1.75" for an actual useful and functional reason, not just for extra volume. The design features on the front cap that stick out are done by Surefire, Ase Utra, and many other companies. The Q rifle silencer is actually flat where the design features are on its front cap, it doesn't have anything sticking out. The AAC Cyclone is 9.5" long, the SIG SRD762Ti is 9.3", the TBAC Ultra 9 is 9", Bowers VERS 30 is 9.25", etc. Plus this silencer was designed before Q was even a company.
Josh Parker lol it looks exactly.... like the full Nelson. So, all of the features. Qs cans are not flat on the front face, and they have the same exact design for increased “functional” volume lol. Sigs cans look the way they because of Qs crew... not saying someone copied the other, but they literally look exactly alike down to the satin finish... just saying.
Giving this can way on Patreon soon! You still have time to join!
The round hitting the target at 9:34 scared the shit out of me.

You have the best job
Seemed like it had more of a pop/crack on the 300blk... very different
Ok....You need to do a top 5 between this can the Sig , Vox , OSS , & rugged. And let’s see who’s best I’m sure we will all love it.
Is the ng2 maxflow any good?
I have rugged for full disclosure
Im looking at the shorter Hyperion K for my lightweight 308 build. These seem amazing!
They have a NEW version of the same suppressor!!! Can you review the two?
one is welded, one is 3d printed
Great sounding or non-sounding suppressor. Will have to check it out on March 02 for sure. Hopefully I win this one in February on Patron!!!!

1.75 diameter is king up to 300win mag . Mirage makes 2 inch diameter and up for 338 lapua mag stuff
CGS Cans are amazing. They were my favorite at suppressed fest right next to innovative arms.
Well, now i gotta buy one of these!!!! GREAT REVIEW!!!!
The 300 blackout sounded like a bb gun
Would be so awesome if you would meter these cans!!!
Can you review the Hyperion K? Also damn these are pricey! Can you start selling these through Silencer Shop so we can save on the NFA transfer fee?
Soon!
NFA Review Channel I wish they would hurry up and come out with their QD line!
and they are STILL not on silencer shop, some CGS stuff is but not the hyperion
Nice shooting that's is subsonic ammo??
I'd love to win it but currently the ATF is out of order and noone knows when thatll be fixed
@THEGLOCKSMITH Already back in business, and, no wall money.
Can you do a review on the new Hyperion K?
Did I miss a minimum barrel rating? I've got a 5.5" .300BLK that could use an exceptionally quiet can.
There isn't a minimum rating. 5.5" Blackout is fine as long as your twist rate will stabilize subs.
Great, thanks for the info. My barrel has a rather ludicrous twist rate and will stabilize anything that will fit in a .300Blk case. This is looking like a good replacement for the OSS 7.62 that's on there.
Anyone have thoughts on the Hyperion vs the Thunderbeast?
The Hyperion is quieter, but its very close, according to PEW science.
What level on patreon to participate for the giveaway?
Bronze, Silver, or Gold. Gold gives the best perks for the gift cards each month.
@@nfareview what was the hyperion K version like?
@@TheCoolbreeze45 They are sending one for testing soon.
NFA Review Channel great. Thanks. Trying to find a flyweight can for my 6.5cm. Prefer to support CGS > Q
Please do a video at night with cgs helios qd. What's the flash like at night?
See 5:20 on Tactical Fitness Austin's video.
for precision extreme long range shooting: hyperion 762 or thunderbeast ultra-9?
Both. I like the Ultra 9.
I think he got a few zombies
Are there any thin wrenches you use so you dont mess up the protective coat on your rifle barrel?
Did you ever get a chance to meter their K can? Info please!!!
Would be awesome on my RPR 6.5!
Sounds great
Where can I find this version? The one on their website says it's made out of inconel and the dims are 7.5"x1.5".

so should i get this or the omega 36m?
Freakin’ cool, man. Legend

Gun Trader Den is handling that discount now. See it at the top of the list now?
@@nfareview thank you are they still offering that same great discount? Or has the price changed
@@KngPin7 CGS pulled the discount and GTD stepped up with sales at just above cost. The savings is still great!

Hey who is that guy with Andrew?
What about the HYPERION K the short version
Blake_ James89 I’ll ask CGS. I know they were waiting on a batch from coating.
Should test the Hausken suppressors or Shultz and Larsen. These are really serious stuff... SAI are good too.
Can of the year!
Can you use this for 762x39? On a wasr 10/63
is it good on semi autos?
Yes, very.
18:12 ( . Y . )
😂
TITIES literally all I heard
Jeez I feel so bad that you got sick with such a terrible, never ever fun or cool job. So sad!😂
Wish they made a new Hyperion to accept the q plan b without the adapter in between the K and full size Hyperion.
They are making their own QD adaptor.
I wish you would have used a semi-auto host so that we could see the amount of blowback gases

@NFA Review Channel, could you recommend a superior suppressor for a 9mm CZ 75 SP-01 Tactical grey suppressor- ready ?.
