Thanks again for your review work. As far the whole "serialized at the base of the suppressor;" to me that's like saying a car had cruise control: it was impressive once upon a time but should be an industry standard by now.
@@nfareview LOL!!! well, just to help you out I'll trade you my Subaru Impreza (that has cruise control) for your Ferrari; I'm a "shirt of my back" kind of guy
CGS Group LLC Can’t wait for the QD option! Will there be an QD option for the Hyperion as well? Can you make it accept keymo and plan b or does that not work with your baffle tech? ETA on the QD versions?
CGS group makes great stuff, if only they had amazing marketing like a certain single letter company out there they’d be able to be better recognized in the industry for the quality they put out
You're right. We’re not a marketing company masquerading as a gun/silencer company making silencers. We’re a gun/silencer company making silencers. But you're right, maybe in the near future we'll do more marketing for civilian side sales. But there's also only so much time in a day.
For cleaning rifle cans, does it make a difference if your using subsonic, or something that uses fast burning powder like .300 blk or is it all the same when it comes to cleaning, it jjst does not need to be done.
Awesome I thought I missed the meet up. My fiancé told me to buy a suppressor after shoot a rifle with one at my gun club on the 2nd of March. I am thinking about getting a sig or oss for my ar10.
What do you think about satellite events mirroring your NFA shoot in other free states? Perhaps something in central Texas for those of us who cannot take off work and fly out to Florida. I wouldn't be able to devote the time to coordinate this but I bet at least one of your fans is qualified and free to do this.
NFA Review Channel I’m sure you already know but I just saw the Energetic Armament Vox K online for pre-order! Super excited, still waiting for my Vox-s haha
Do you no longer have the 50% off for CGS group for your platinum patreon members? Would you recommend a Helios 556 DT for a dedicated PWS MK111 Mod 2 work gun and a Hyperion K for the Noveske 12.5” 7.62x51 Switchblock? Or the CGS Helios DT for both?
Visit Patreon.com/nfareview and then look for the Gold Tier to see the full discount list. For your SBR I would look at the VOX-S by Energetic Armament. It's a smaller can. The Helios will work great on your PWS though.
I don’t think rifle cans actually blow everything out as you’ve claimed. My Sandman S is up to 20.5 oz after maybe 4K rounds. Something is building up.
NFA Review Channel I didn’t say you need to clean it. Just that it does build up and measurably so in my case. I wonder what your can with 65k weighs now as I’ve seen cut away pictures of rifle cans with the baffles almost completely filled.
NFA Review Channel The pics I saw were a cut away of a KAC NT4 (iirc) that was used a whole lot. Can’t find the pics to save my life now though. Sounds like that AAC is holding up well for you all things considered though.
Hey Hugo, the best can is simply an opinion. I’ve read your comments on a bunch of posts. It takes approximately 3 decibels to notice a difference in sound suppression. The price on this is can is “Steep”, at least for me anyway. I did not enjoy hearing that the can becomes loose after a mag dump. I’m waiting for Capitol to do their testing, so that I may have a final assessment before I think of purchasing. Have a great day sir!

If you keep it under 800 deg F, which is what this silencer is made for, then there are absolutely zero issues with it being made from 100% grade 5 titanium. If you want a version for applications over 800 deg F, those other material options will be coming in the future.

Is there going to be a Hyperion QD? Or is the Helios QD the replacement since it can handle up to 30 cal?
Does it have a spot to pin and weld?
Nope, not this model. It wasn't originally built for the civilian market, but that may be a future addition.
