- Features of ASD make it difficult for the child to learn various skills thus creates a delay in development.
If we understand the effects of ASD features on learning process, then it becomes easier to teach anything even communication skills.
So good. It really made me put my feet in children's shoes and see what's in their mind and thought
It changed my way of understanding the kid.. and making him learn..thanks a lot.🙏

My son has speach since the age of 1 year but beacuse of jargon his language development is at svery slow rate....apni taraf se woh poori baat karta hai eye contact karke ...object ko point karke ...but language sirf kuch nouns hai

At times repeating is required for making child understand what we need him to respond. Gradually randomization helps in maintaining the interest of child. But this all may vary from case to case, in some case immediate and complete randomization may be required.

Play with him focusing “Pre Learning Skills”.
Make him do things on your instructions...you may help him for getting correct responses on your instructions.

Sir mra bacha 5 saal ka hai srf tata bolta hai mama abba etc repetitive,hyper active delay in speech hai sir hum ghar par kesay train kr saktey hein agr hum afford na kr sakey

Hello sir. My son is 3.7 years . He was diagnosed with ASD at 2.3 years. He is undergoing OT and speech therapies and has improved a lot. He has gained a lot in receptive language . He follows most of the command .but expressive language is still stagnant to few words. He is trying to speak a lot but mostly what comes out is meaningless words . Can u guide. Thanks a lot...
anjali sinha Pl focus on his attention and processing of simple instructions. Don’t allow to repeat in same way; randomise every thing. Let him listen attentively he will utter soon.

Puja Singh Use objects and activities of child’s interest. Intonation of voice and touching the child also helps in getting / maintaining focus/ attention.
While establishing attention or focus ensure that he doesn’t have any thing in his hands.
