Sir, your topics are very deep and realistic. Your experience very vast, and nobody able to explain me this issue in such a great way. Thank you so much 🙏
The process of bombardment and leading to spontaneous speech (words level) through verbal repetition are demonstrated in sessions (Delayed Milestones- ...) in a sequenced way.

I have 5 yr old son he is some time used echolalia and sometimes also verbal repetition, he could not imagine and also not ask any question to us he knows more than 200 questions answer but till date he is not produce some more question in his mind like if we go somewhere than he don’t ask us what is this Daddy?? Like this , so what is best way to communicate more for him
Useful video sir. My 4 ur son has mild ASD features. he is verbal child. He can verbally express what he needs. He speaks simple sentences with two words & few rhymes. But not respond to our all commands. Responds only when he needs. Hyperactive also. So far I didnt use any drugs other than OT exercises. Can u suggest any home activities to reduce hyper.
janani Kowshik Pl check for junk food containing processed sugar and his screen timings, reduce these to minimum/ zero. Work on his pre learning skills in play therapy. For activities at home you may see videos of children of his age ... pl see the playlist of this channel and get ideas from there.

Najma Shafi Wa Alaikum Assalam. Pl work on randomisation in all activities, check for screens exposure and eliminate/ stop it...manage his reactions (if he reacts in behaviours), play with him involving pre learning skills....focus more on attention and process of different instructions. This will help, in shaa Allah.
In ASD a child lacks in learning due to; attention deficiency, lack of processing (cognition), repetitiveness and hyperactivity. Whenever we focus these, the child shows behaviours to escape, so behaviour management becomes a big challenge to work on these weaknesses. If we manage the behaviours successfully then it becomes easier to teach any skill to the child. I will explain this in detail, in some video soon. In shaa Allah.
Sir... I have a baby boy 2years old with very mild ASD...from last week I have started play therapy at home on your advice. Sir I am amazed to see the results. but my big challenge is to manage his behaviour..whenever I try to get his attention..he will start banging his head against anything..mostly on bed so if I ignore then he will do the same against the wall..what should I do..? I have already cut down his sugar intake and screen time to zero still the hyperactivity is same...again I am clueless. He has a habit of hand flapping...how should I deal with that..? Sometimes his expressions are not appropriate. He doesn't have any kind of fixation in his food habits even he doesn't like the same menu for the next day...he can have anything still his weight gain is a task for me. From last 8-9 months his weight is constantly the same.
Xiomi Redmi A child on spectrum at 2 years must have some delay in pre learning skills, some odd behaviours, lack of processing, hyperactivity, repetitiveness, attention deficiency this all must be strengthened to an extent...which cannot be overcome in a month or so because a period is required in which the child will forget previously learnt “wrong patterns” and learn new “correct patterns” which you are trying to teach in play therapy. Forgetting previous patterns is done by removing the sources contributing to those and by reducing the opportunity of practicing those wrong drills. New correct patterns are taught and strengthened by helping him to process correctly on your instructions (to which he will definitely react with full strength due to previous patterns and repetitive behaviours). At 2 years the period required for this transformation ranges from 9-12 months (depending upon efforts). Once we start the process the child reacts with full strength by his behaviours to avoid/ escape from teaching process, but if we manage initial period successfully through consistency and manage the behaviour tactfully...now the escape behaviours get settled gradually as the child also get used to new process of interaction. Therefore we must know basic techniques for behaviour modification, in fact we do expect instant change and a typical response from a child who lacks basic/ foundation skills. (I intend to explain this all in detail through a video- in shaa Allah).
Xiomi Redmi Regarding the issues: head banging is an escape behaviour...keep the instruction and task simple...ignore but also save the child from getting hurt. Just put something soft/ cushion/ hand between his head and the place being banged to avoid the bang...don’t see towards him, don’t utter anything, physically get his response on your instruction (don’t leave him without getting correct response even prompted one), in few attempts of such he will fade his behaviour. In shaa Allah. By Cutting off sugar intake you have stopped the source now help him in doing things slowly, don’t allow running rather give practices for walking, don’t allow jumping/ climbing rather help him to sit you may have to prompt physically. For expressions work more on pre learning skills he can’t learn new ones in just ten days without forgetting previous learnt expressions. For weight gain; if he is active and not deficient of anything then it’s okay otherwise consult a dietician for diet plan in view of his age and activities. You must see “Behaviour modification” in the playlist to educate yourself on this subject. I hope this helps. In shaa Allah
Thank you so much sir for your valuable time and effort you give to help parents like us...🙏 Sir...what about hand flapping.? Is it bcoz of his hyperactivity ? Most of the time I try to stop him doing these things physically...sir one thing I hv noticed that his hand flapping increases when he is hyperactive otherwise he doesn't do that much and for hyperactivity there are certain times when he is like not ready to listen only jumping, running and babbling mostly in evening..
Xiomi Redmi Sorry I missed it in previous message. Hand flapping is again a self stimulating and repetitive behaviour strengthened by repeating...this is an unsocial and aimless behaviour which does sooth the child because he doesn’t have proper age appropriate play skill to enjoy and emotions to express his feelings ...reducing opportunity, distracting, and replacing with something acceptable like high five, clapping, thumbs up etc is helpful as short term measures...it may take drills for 3-4 weeks to be changed/ stopped completely...but the child may shift to some other undesired behaviour as he lacks pre learning skills. Ultimate solution to such odd behaviours is to teach pre learning skills to the child.
Sir...he is just two years old and he is able to reach the bike seat without any support...sir I wanna know is it normal? Also he babbles all day how should I use his babbling into words?
Sir my son knows and verbalize few word but only when he want. These words include car, cat, apple, he also know symbols of 1-10 and few alphabets. When i ask him what is this, he won't answer. What can i do to get response when it is required? Also he babbles al day.
Shazia Noreen This pattern is commonly found in ASD, we cannot push him to speak. Get his attention and make him listen few words (to be kept same for some period)...this is bombardment of words. He will repeat those at his own in verbal repetition. I have explained it in video as well. Pl see next two more clips, those will guide you more on how to deal him. In shaa Allah.
Aoa....sir usman My daughter is 3.6 years old.she oftenly call some words/sentence which she listen 1 day before or sometimes. Is it verbal repetition? How am i deal this behaviour?
Assalamo alaikum sir, mera beta 3 years ka hai, or verbal repetition hai usme lekin hamari kahi hui kisi baat ko repeat nahi karta balki bs ek do patterns hain jaise....vavava,, yayaya....is tareh k patterns hain wahi repeat karta rehta h, use isse bachane k liye mai distract karti rehti hu, lekin sir wo kuch bhi meaningful kese bolega wo meri kisi bhi baat ko na to repeat karta h na hi imitate karta h.
Repetitiveness is an overall behaviour (Repetition in actions and verbal), children ASD often have verbal repetition because they lack in attention and processing thus they fail to build a integration link in brain. Following are few tips for reducing verbal repetition and encouraging normal verbal responses: Eliminate screens causing repetitive behaviours, work on attention, help him in processing simple instructions during play therapy, don't allow him to repeat any thing in same sequence/ patterns/ position/ time etc, in all senses.
