@@FunnilyForgettable I think it's because it is so much like PVP but it's a boss so it's much stronger than you. You have to respect everything it does while it doesn't. Also those boss rooms typically don't allow summons.
The DLCs bosses pretty much just get health on NG+, and not even in particularly excessive amounts. Their damage is pretty much the same whether you're on NG or NG+7. That's the entire point behind the Scadutree upgrades in the DLC. They boost your damage negation and damage dealt by massive amounts and are the main way you get stronger in the DLC. If you actually get those upgrades as you're supposed to, all DLC bosses are completely manageable.
Yeah I beat the lion guy on like 3rd or 4th try because I had all the upgrades up until the fight. I think some people just jump into fights before getting the right stuff. @@firekeeper1870

@theezenriarinze9203 I think your misunderstanding what she did, she didn't send then to the shadow realm because she doesn't want anyone to know it exists, she just sent them away from the lands between which is why we get so many diffrent class backgrounds like the samurai which would be a tarnished that fought and died in the land of reeds or the confessor which comes from a church of the erdtree on a diffrent continent, Godfrey who is technically the first tarnished got sent back to his home in the badlands which is also where the barbarian class originated from since they followed him back home, the only reason why we have to fight the red haired man again is because miquella stole his soul he didn't actually go there when he died

if you’re a faith build or have enough faith to use ancient dragon lightning strike, i recommend you use it when you are directly below them stand between their legs and use it till it stance breaks them twice and bring flame protect me
I will die on this hill that the furnace golems are the absolute worst thing fromsoft has ever made. I don’t care about the walk back for the cats in ds2. These things are annoying in every aspect. 15-20 min fights on the ground. Insane damage. Massive healthbar. Repetitive moves. Giant boss that’s hard to see. Have to use a consumable that’s unintuitive without that note to solve the puzzle. Throw fire in the fire to kill the fire. Yeah sure man. Can’t throw the fire when it’s posture broken on the ground though!!!! Has to be standing upright and in a constant loop of sending a hurricane of fire at your forehead Fuck the furnace golems
I think this is where a lot of the criticism came from, people thought they'd stomp the DLC with their endgame build but the game tried to essentially replicate what it feels like to start from scratch while still letting players use their items and build
@@PTNLemaythe dlc nerfs you at the start and you have to find special items called scadutree fragments in order to get back up to your full strength. The number of fragments needed in order to boost your stats increases as you regain your strength, starting at one, then after a few boosts it increases to 2, then after a few more it goes up to 3. It could go up more but from what I’ve seen I don’t think it does although I never got all of them
When Miyazaki was beaten as a child, the belt was swung with a delay so that he would not dodge, everyone knows that. But few people know the continuation of this great story. One day, Miyazaki adapted to this, memorized all possible belt frames, and no longer took damage. But his father did not lose his head, and spent 2 years trying to surprise his beloved son again. Now he dealt 10 times more damage with a belt, jumped like crazy all over the room, and also used quick combinations of punches (mixed with the good old delays), which made Miyazaki's eyes did not have time to focus on him. But the father knew that this alone was not enough to surprise his son, so now his belt always caused damage to the area, in case his son wanted to roll over his back. And even when Miyazaki thought he could safely drink his bottle of fanta, the belt attack took him across the room. These memories inspired Miyazaki so much that he dedicated an entire DLC to his game Elven Ring to this.

Probably because out of all the souls games elden ring has the lowest scaling for ng+ That and bleed basically letting you ignore defense and hp scaling. ( I mean seriously dealing 34k damage to Godfrey at ng6 is crazy)

What did you do after first losing to the Fell Omen? Did you run around stormveil and skip the boss entirely? Or did you go out into the world and find runes, weapons, and upgrade materials to get stronger before challenging the boss again? Do you notice that there's effectively NO DIFFERENCE between having to go power yourself up to beat Margit in the base game and having to go find scadutree levels to beat a DLC boss? The whole game is built on this gameplay loop, yet everyone complains when the DLC does it.

No? It scales with the fragments. The ‘difficulty’ (damage bloat and HP bloat) is less of an issue when your poking stick now deals 2k AR and your absorption is over 70% in everything. But alas, that’s good design I guess.

@@owlflame I dunno, Greatshield build makes it pretty easy. Don't even have to worry about dodging, just tank it and counter. As long as you collect those powerup fragments you'll coast through even the final boss. Though I guess for him you at least do have to dodge the grab.

@@owlflame I dunno, Greatshield build makes it pretty easy. Don't even have to worry about dodging, just tank it and counter. As long as you collect those powerup fragments you'll coast through even the final boss. Though I guess for him you at least do have to dodge the grab.

I'm at bayle without it... He one shots me with some moves and leaves me in 10 HP with others but it's absolutely doable

However there is one move that did kinda frustrated me and it's the one where he slams his face down and then back up cause it lags the game and one shots so due to the lag it can be impossible to dodge
