I'm about to be pull the trigger on one of these as a weekend toy. Everyone needs to experience a V10 at lease once in their life
Do it, just maybe do the rod bearings, make sure u warm the engine up to the middle point, and use redline 5w50 oil

that's exactly what I did.... bought it on Friday did the rod bearings on Monday
@@mpowerSA The key to NOT having to do rod bearings is that '2 min' warm up b4 the beast is driven. If you do this then the rod bearings won't need to be changed. EVER. Facts! If you purchase one of these cars make sure you get service records and you know a bit about the previous owner and how they treated the beast. Otherwise you will be starting fresh and you would probably need to get the rod bearings done Beecause you don't know.

Is that all the mods on the list? and links I have the same exact car same color everything Us spec, also I think I heard x pipe done on this and evolve stage 2 tune and intake? So does this mean you still have cats in the headers ?

Hmmm, tough question, I think the v10 noise is miraculous but the maintenance is just a bit mind boggling, so much to go wrong and the smg gearbox is poo in town. Apart from that, solid car for the money. Lots of fun to be had. If it’s the car you want, I’d say do the maintenance checks and go for it
D10 YAM The manual is the business, the world really got fucked on this one.
Just bought one with 40kms on it. Spend extra for one that's been taken care of and it'll be worth it. 5 liter v10 that revs to 9ks doesn't make much sense on paper, and so no wonder if you buy one with 200kms the engine will blow. I can tell you from experience owners drive these cars at ten tenths almost all the time. If you buy a newer one with good service history you can avoid most the troubles people complain about. It's actually quite reliable for what it is, you just can't expected it to be bulletproof without frequent oil changes and such. Every m6 owner that takes care of their car will tell you this. However, in the US at least, it's hard to come by a clean one with the right options. Hope I helped.
What are the best performance mods to gain as much hp as possible
Stage 2 evolve but after that it’s supercharging
Headers or decat, intake and tune are the best mods. Mine is stroked 5.5 with similar mods 630hp with new tune ile be 650hp

We fitted the supercharger from a mclaren Mercedes slr to our m6 and that made 755bhp at the wheels
Down side was the 400 to 500 quid a week for petrol cos it is impossible to drive it slowly because it’s like the uss enterprise hitting warp speed and the noise is addictive
So few of these left that havent been utterly throttled. As soon as they became affordable to most people, they were doomed! I've yet to see a video about one of these where the person doesn't drive around at 5000rpm, and constantly rev it to the moon. Rod bearings? Nah, drivers.

Buy one now before it's too late. 2009-10 with a manual. I have an '06 m5 with an smg and it's even better in person.
