This is why I the melody you write is more important than the chord progressions you use. Yes they go hand in hand but melodies are what make you stand out.
I immediately started laughing when I realized that the chord progression was that of the most over-played progression in today's music. I guess your melody hid its presence to me and I focused more on the beautiful melody. I love being able to laugh, so this discovery you are sharing is very nice (and funny). Thanks for also showing just what you can do to improve upon a well worn progression and make it lovely and hide the original bland from the listener.
Sounds like "You were always on my mind" .. I heard Elvis doing it in my head when it was being played.
This guy's teaching is on another level!!
Antoine, although I do the exact same thing when harmonizing a melody, seeing you do it with such beautiful results is inspiring.
The beginning of the melody sounds similar to “U.F.O - try me “ interlude
Thank you so mach!

Your melody reminds me of "Famous blue raincoat" by Leonard Cohen :D
I wish all guitarists on UA-cam could see this stuff
Share it with some guitar friends, that would already help immensely :-) thank you for the kind words!
