    Click in at 4:20. You literally say let's make it simple, enjoy a bowl. I'm going to hit pause and do just that. I love the technical videos. I"m a machinist by trade and kind of understand simple electrical details. Keep up the great content! I am loving this shit and learning a lot along the way. Blows my mind how you actually 3d print and make one off rc snowmobiles that really work. Thank you for the detailed videos. I grew up snowmobiling. same era as this model. we always rode short track sleds because snow was there but not a lot. groomed trails were amazing on a short track. especially it you had the suspension tuned right and the clutch set up.

      Im glad you liked it! It was a fun projet to put together and pretty simple. No big problems to solve like most of the other suff i do, simply assemble it as you like, and make it go!🚀

    What Filament do you use for the track? building a 1/5th scale sled need some pointers on the skid and track

      You need impact resistant material, i just happen to use tough pla+ for my tracks, pretty good stuff usually

    These old RC are way better then the new ones they’re a lot more real looking and built in a scale and there is a lot of people trying to copy and remanufacture this whole snowmobile

      TPU? Its flexible, so maybe
      Also the skeeride is not my design... I have not worked with it yet

    Super cool build I like the details Nitro sound so much better I also made a snow mobille nitro powered tracked truck but I would like to make a Bombardier ski doo Like the ones you made But I will use a 2 cylinder engine that i build , If you could see how small is the engine that I modify you would want one to experiment I'm sure In my opinion even the smallest Snowmobile that you made would be a little big for this small engine but it is an advantage of being small and light You do a superb job, I like it A little tip for the brakes, I use a strip cut on a sheet of aluminum covering for the roofs on m'y litle 1\16 nitro Subaru or its Good To use a tyrap Nylon tie wrap Will stretch less than leather

      Ive being pitching the idea of merging two nitro 0.21 engines on engine builder groups, but i was not taken seriousy... i like the idea of a directly coupled engine with a single watercooled head, and a single (joined) crankshaft. But i am not at all equipped to pull off something like that. Not currently at least.
      For the leather strip, Im not on the brakes often enough to make the leather stretch. So far its being working flawlessly, it was a great idea.

    I just purchased a used kit and I'm having difficulty trying to figure out what motor to purchase to be able to use the flywheel and clutch bell that was supplied with the kit. I purchased a .18 engine and the crank threads are too small on the .18

    • @Pascal_Robert--Rc_Creations

      I had to modify the crankshaft and the brass taper as well to install that large flywheel on their stock engine... it is not an easy install

    I understand that you do not wanna sell these on a commercial scale however i live in Maine and have PayPal ready, looking for just a scale frame and I’ll build it from there. I have all kinds of electric and nitro motors from my rc helis/airplanes

    • @Pascal_Robert--Rc_Creations
      @Pascal_Robert--Rc_Creations  2 роки тому +1

      This snowmobile you can get the frame off the shelf. Its a art attack, they still offer those brand new!

      I'm not a shop... i like to make them, but selling them is a whole different thing. You deal with customers, shipping companies, karens... not always the funny side...

      I will likely sell it at the end of february, but i want to have at least another season of fun with it! Its a surprisingly fun unit to play around with. If you can't wait this long you can still always build one yourself from an art attack snowmobile. They are still being produced
