there was an issue with a spacer (plastic) washer on the gear set being too thin, or thinning out causing the gear to miss the teeth and skip, I replaced the washer and good to go.
maybe the gears in the linewinder? did you ever find out what was the problem , I seen others of your video with Penn reels doing the same , maybe even the drag on the winder slipping too
@@fadelover123 it has nothing to do with that. It’s internal. Penn VISX reels do that. I had to new ones out of the box that skipped in high gear. Penn replaced them.
My 12 and 16 visx both did it as well.. Penn took care of it for me...

Try using 10 lbs of tension. I dont think you need 20 lbs
Still no word on what the problem is?
the reel is not made to be winded so fast in low gear.
I stick with my tiagras. No issues.

Someone in the comments further up said he replaced a particular washer and it was good to go
