14:13 its because the 4 221 4-cars were originally ordered for Virgin West Coast, but they were moved to CrossCountry because they were too short. Later, they got 5 car 221s

I had my first ever train journey on my own to BNS, 15 before this video, it melted my little 14 year old heart, was such a big moment for me, i was seeing my sister at uni aswell
Nice video! I went there last year and I really liked the sound of the Class 323. Also, very nice Pendolino Trains and turbostars! And I also like those class 350 desiro trains.
According to Wikipedia "On 25 September 2006, 221136 collided with a car on the track at Moor Lane, Copmanthorpe, North Yorkshire. The 14:25 Plymouth to Edinburgh was decelerating on its approach to York station at 9pm when it collided with the car, which had crashed through a fence on to the line. Despite being derailed in the 100-mile-per-hour (160 km/h) crash, the train remained upright. Nobody on board was injured".
Fantastic video as always from Birmingham NS in my home region. I definitely like the West Midlands Railway colour scheme. Hope you are safe and well, as am i. Keep safe and take care, regards Gary.
Thanks ever so much Gary and thank you for your continued support on my channel it really is greatly appreciated! I love coming here it's always a great station to come to for plenty of action. I'm glad to hear you're keeping safe!
If only I was in contact with the guard, oh how fun it would have been to have gotten the train stopped only to have the bloke pulled off. Then we'll see how brave he really is!
Reason why 221136 was a 5 car it did caught fire but turned back as a 5 car but since X country got 221144 ends both 221136 and 221140 donated there middle cars to make 221144 as a 4 car. So from 221119-135 137 138 +139 are 5 cars 221136 140-144 are now 4 cars
And 221121, 122, 123, 124, 125, 126, 127, 128, 129, 130, 131, 132, 133, 134 are all five cars Super Voyagers as well. But 221136, 140, 141 and 144 are four cars super Voyagers. But they're all XC Super Voyagers.
That driver at 35:20 was being reckless. Do your job first!! At least it was at low speed. If it was a 100mph stretch of track, no time for phone as you have to keep a stern eye on the path ahead, new speed limit, signals and make sure that your as fast as you can but not going over the speed limit (i.e For a 100mph sign, drivers play it safe by going up to 91-99mph. Very few drivers stay at the 100-101mph mark.
Great video. With you not filming at any train stations in the forseeable future, what will happen with the SEML series and what videos can we expect from you when all of your videos have been uploaded? Will it be weekly Q&As or something like that? Moving away from COVID-19, What will you do when you've done filming all of your mainline series? By the way the guy who made the gesture, you could've just called him a Birmingham City fan instead because that's what they do. UTV. Keep up the good work.
Thanks very much, I have a few ideas stashed away that I can put to use now that I can't do anymore filming until all this has blown over. Although we sadly don't know when this will be. I won't be doing weekly Q+A's as I would end up running out of things to talk about let alone people asking me questions in the first place haha. I really don't know if I even will get a mainline series done at this rate, only time will tell.
Excellent as always. Still not used to the fact that instead of London Midland and Virgin Trains it’s London Northwestern Railway and Avanti West Coast. I still get Avanti confused with the Spanish Avant trains, especially because both are Pendolinos.
Transport for Wales (Rail Services) have taken over from Arriva Trains Wales as well. London Northwestern Railway and West Midlands Railway are the same company (West Midlands Trains). The West Midlands Railway services were branded London Midland _City_ under London Midland.
Thanks very much, I had a great time filming here. At first it took me a while to get used to calling the different companies their new names, and initially when I heard that VT were becoming Avanti West Coast I wasn't overly fond of the name, it literally translates to Forward West Coast. But after a while it just becomes the norm.

Sorry if this is overly long lol
